Everything is very well organized despite the matter. Once you get seated your server asks everyone what they'd like to drink & if you'd like to order appetizers. Our server (I can't remember his name) did a very great job! The food is very pricey in the dinner time. I recommend being prepared to pay $20-38 for a 5-course meal. They don't let you order off the lunch menu during dinner Everything was very delicious. The chef was very funny & cooked everything perfectly.

We were seated, but almost an hour went by before we even received our salads. During that time, no one came to properly check on us. I eventually had to ask the host to please have our server at least take our drink order, and I even got up myself to get a glass of water from the bar since I'm currently pregnant and had been waiting so long. What made the situation more frustrating was noticing that tables seated after us had already received drinks, soups, and were being actively attended to. At one point, I also observed our server frantically searching for another table's lost credit card, which made it seem like things were very disorganized overall. After waiting such a long time with little communication, I finally got up and spoke to the bartender and someone who appeared to be the manager. They said they would look into it, but by then the table next to us already had their chef cooking in front of them while we still hadn't progressed beyond salads. At that point, my family and I were completely fed up and decided to leave. Very disappointing experience, especially given that we had reservations and were celebrating time together as a family.

After walking on the pier we were kinda worried about finding a decent spot to eat. So glad we gave it a try. Walking in there were like 3 other parties walking in so that was encouraging. It gave off Hawaiian/tiki vibes and was inviting. They have a 3 course special 4-5 pm for like $30. My husband and I picked that, I had the teriyaki chicken bowl and he had bbq ribs. The salad had a delicious dressing and had to eat every morsel. Both the main courses were really good. My grandson ordered the steak and ate every bite of the whole meal. Kai (the waiter) was very nice and gave us some advice on what to see along the route. I got an amazing picture that I blew up to hang in our room. Totally recommend giving this place a try!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and genuine hospitality. Our server, Paula, was a class act and great at what she does. We loved the poke chips and lilikoi buns. My wife had the halibut, my daughter had the chicken nuggets and fries, and I had the ribeye. The Mai Tai and Chi Chi were outstanding. The highlight of the night was when Paula surprised our daughter with a shaved ice dessert and dry ice presentation. It was her last day of 2nd grade, and we were celebrating the start of summer before she heads into 3rd grade. The smile on her face was priceless. Earlier in the day we experienced some poor customer service elsewhere, so this was a great reminder of what true hospitality looks like. Great food, great drinks, and even better service. Thank you, Paula, for helping make a special family memory. We'll definitely be back.

The food is consistently excellent, the steak and fried rice are always cooked to perfection. The garlic butter is a MUST. I immediately loved the setup. Instead of the typical romantic table for two, everyone sits together along a large hibachi grill. You might share the table with another party depending on your group size. For a second or third date, it was actually perfect..the lively atmosphere helped ease my nerves and gave us something fun to focus on besides just making conversation. We ended up sharing our grill with a family of four. Our chef was hilarious and super interactive, which made the whole experience entertaining from start to finish. My boyfriend helped me navigate the menu since I had no idea what to order. I went with the filet mignon and shrimp combo, and it did not disappoint. The fried rice was especially delicious..everything was fresh and flavorful. I really enjoyed Kyoto Palace. It's a fantastic spot for a fun date night or any evening when you want great food with a little show. We went on a Friday night and it was busy, so I highly recommend making reservations (my boyfriend was smart enough to do so ahead of time). Bonus: It's located in a cute little plaza, perfect for a relaxing stroll before or after dinner. I'm so glad he introduced me to this place..great ambiance and even better company. Highly recommend!

10/10 must sit on the patio during sunset!…read more It was absolutely beautiful and an irreplaceable once in a lifetime experience. There's a nice outdoor bar area where you can get drinks and appetizers while waiting for your seat. Slow cooked pork belly : 20/10 must try! The crispy outside texture was perfect and the charcoal taste complemented the pork belly fat really well. Szechuan pork ribs: 7/10 Not bad, but the Szechuan flavor lacked and it tasted more like Sriracha. Half butterfish and half ahi tuna dish: 8/10 the sauces were PHENOMENAL!! I'm going to need to get their recipe for their fragrant herbaceous green sauce and the coconutty umami white sauce. The butterfish had a bit of lingering fishiness but the texture was nice with a carmelized crust and soft insides. The ahi tuna was to be expected. Watch out for the spicy wasabi brown sauce! Dark chocolate raspberry molten lava cake: 8/10 I love lava cakes and they gave us an extra cup of dark chocolate to pour on top. I wish the raspberry flavor tasted more natural though. Service: 100/10 everyone was fantastic and our server was incredibly hospitable and nice.

On multiple occasions, we had to ask the busboy to send our waiter over because we were either out of soda, to take our appetizer order, or to find out where our drinks were at once we placed the order. When asking how much longer for our drinks, we were told by our waiter 'I put the order in. It should probably be ready now.' He was not friendly and was not what I expected at all of a Pebble Beach restaurant. We come somewhat often as we only live 30 minutes down the road so this visit definitely fell short. With our tip already being included in the final price, I feel as though the effort from our waiter was as if his service to our table didn't really matter as he was getting his tip either way. The restaurant was not very busy either so it just seemed like a lack of effort. I would like to recognize the busboy as he was extremely attentive and always made sure to clear our table timely. I feel as though he would make a better waiter than the individual we had. The food was subpar for a restaurant of this caliber. My bento box with butterfish came out cold. My mom & sister-in-law ordered the bento box with salmon and both mentioned how there was a lack of flavor. Overall, I think I would go to Sticks at Pebble Beach instead as we have always had great service there.
