    Chicken and corn soup

Excellent good. Baked porked bun loaded with pork and baked to perfection. Chicken and corn soup was delicious. It was hot and loaded with chicken and corn. The clams with black bean sauce was so flavorful. Service was quick and the server was very efficient and friendly.

This restaurant has great food and is very clean! Looks very nice inside and is big. The food is soooo good. I have already eaten here and brought friends and family so many times. All the dishes I have had are great. They always come out very hot and fresh. They have a big menu ranging from dim sum, noodle dishes, soups and even Latin cuisine. I recommend this place to everyone! Please go try it out you won't be disappointed!!

We've now been here twice and I'm going to say this is some of the best Chinese cuisine in all of Orlando. Very unassuming both outside and inside, but the preparation of our meals hasn't been outstanding. The first time here we basically did a Dim Sum by ordering the small plates on the back of the menu. Everything was outstanding. Unfortunately I don't have the photos but man it was all so good. The second time my wife got a salt and pepper tofu that is unlike anything we've ever had. Fried so light and airy with incredible seasoning. Sweet and sour shrimp probably the best version of that I've ever had. If you are a fan of Asian cuisine, Hong Kong Kitchen is worth a visit.

Great space and atmosphere with soft background music. We were seated and served right away. Our server was very good and the food came out fast. We were all pleasantly surprised with the fresh and tasty meals! Chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, tofu and veggies in brown sauce. We'll be back.

Came in while they had a 3.99 Wednesday lunch special for their grand opening and was not disappointed. I had never visited any of the restaurants that were previously at this location, so I was very surprised by how nice and clean it was inside. The portion of food I got for the lunch special was obviously great value as it was only 3.99 at the time, but it also made me want to come back to try other items even at full price. While the flavors weren't anything spectacular or mind-blowing beyond a pickup Chinese spot, they have a few menu items like salted fish fried rice and Singapore rice noodles that I usually have to go down to Mills for, so it's nice to have a restaurant like this closer to me.

We were pleasantly surprised with quality of the food. Ordered Hot'Sour soup for 2. Delicious. It was not spicy enough for either of us. Which is good thing for the majority of people ordering. BUT there is a smoky hot chili oil sauce on each table. 1 full spoonful brought the heat up and made it a must order for future visits. I had Char sui pork and vegetables it was perfect. I had fried rice... it also got a teaspoon of the chili oil sauce. Yum. My friend got chicken and vegetables with white rice. He said it was very good cook. He took last part of his Hot'Sour soup added even more chili sauce then poured over the white rice. Perfect. Think I'll do that next time instead of fried rice. The Auntie that served us was from Hong Kong and was so tentative and kind. Looking forward to the next visit. =) I had been to Sizzlin Hot Pot 5 times in past (same building) ... I prefer Hong Kong Kitchen. =)

I did a takeout lunch of beef and broccoli with the pork fried rice, the rice did not taste fresh and the beef was scorching hot as if it had been microwaved ( my order was ready in less than 5 minutes). The beef was also very chewy and the smell was just off. I definitely would not recommend or dine here again.

Have been craving Chinese food for a few weeks now but not just some late night uber meal. Wanted to try something new and new I chose. This place open not to long ago and was very curious about it. Stopped in and it did not let me down. Asked the waiter for something with beef and noodles and he chose the beef chow fun, he said very traditional and noodles made in house. The meal was an explosion of flavor with a great level of spice. Very happy with my experience 5 out of 5, enough to actually not be lazy and write a review! :)

We had a pretty fantastic experience for lunch yesterday. My 8 year old is in a dim sum kick lately, so when he heard there's a new Cantonese restaurant in our area, he demanded we try it. We started the meal by sharing a bowl of wonton (shrimp and pork) mein soup noodles. The broth was clear and tasty, the wontons were a good size, and the noodles perfectly tender with a little bounce/bite. We ordered several (too many for an adult and 8 year old) gr standard dim sum fare to test the waters and set the bar. Shrimp and pork siu mai, shrimp har gow, stuffed bean curd skin, baked char siu bao, soup dumplings, and fried shrimp balls. They were all fair sized and a competitive price. Their shapes/sizes were pretty homogenous, so I suspect they may be frozen and not hand made, but the preparation was superb; cooked perfectly and served steaming hot. Our server was a very sweet older woman who was attentive and friendly with my son. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and polished with some nuanced paintings and photos of old Hong Kong movie stars and landscape. The restaurant is fairly calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxing lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We're glad to have a new and slightly elevated Cantonese, that also serves dim sum, restaurant in the area. Definitely adding to the rotation.

When we arrived the line was out the door and went around to the back. It was hot, but the team took great care of us. They made sure everyone had water, and for those of age they even offered one Smokemade Lager from Ten 10 Brewing. The line did move at a slow and steady pace. And I appreciate them for offering the waters, the beer, and for managing the line and keeping it orderly. Once it was my turn to order, I did my best not to order everything, but also did my best to pick some favorites. While there was only four of us, we wanted to have a spread and have leftovers. So I ordered two brisket sandwiches, one pulled pork sandwich, one philly sandwich, 6 ct- tallow fried wings (hot korean bbq), large side of cheddar grits, large side of pinto beans, large side of mac and cheese, and a large side of potato salad. When the sandwiches were being made I was immediately impressed by the amount of brisket and pulled pork being put on the sandwiches. While packing our food, I noticed they threw in a loaf of bread. When they handed it to me, I asked if the bread was our ls and they said it was. We didn't order it, but I am thinking since our order was over $100 it might be something that is included, not very sure. Once to my destination we unpacked all of the food and laid it out. It all looked so good, and the smell was out of this world. Everyone quickly made plates and dove it. It didn't take long for us to start commenting on how delicious everything was and that we loved it. The sandwiches were generously packed with super flavourful meat. The cheddar grits were amazing. Some of the best mac and cheese I have had. And the pinto beans were great and I loved the meat they include in the. While we all thought the potato salad was good, it was the least exciting of everything. I think we all prefer a wetter and more southern style. My wife did enjoy her philly, but did make the comment that it was more brisket tasting and not enough philly like. It was also packed with meat and looked amazing. The wings were a nice little addition, great flavor and cooked perfectly. And that free loaf of bread was fantastic, it was similar to a potato bread. Everything was so good and well with the wait. I look forward to my next meal here. The staff was phenomenal and so helpful. Everyone was in great spirits and did a wonderful job, especially considering how busy it was.

That was a sweet win. I also tried their Frisco fries, and they were decent, but I wouldn't rush back just for those. The ambience is really laid-back. It's like any regular barbecue place. I saw at least 3 to 4 tables of people sitting down and enjoying their barbecue and they seem to have a steady stream of traffic. The cashier who is also getting our food order together seemed really nice. She had a great personality. I honestly don't feel the need to go back and visit again. The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Coming back from New Orleans is tough, especially when this foodie ate his fill of fried chicken…read moreand gumbo. But I had an urge to find some fried chicken that is lightly battered and this place hit the spot. Located just off of Park Avenue and Fairbanks is The Hen & Hog. Got a 6 piece fried chicken anf a few sides which consisted of mac and cheese, fries and a pickled slaw. Juicy freshly fried and ever so gently battered chicken that was crisp with every bite. Definitely some tasty chicken. I really liked the slaw that had garlic onions celery and some other items but it cut through the savoriness of the chicken. Yes, i ate all of it to the bone. Wife also got chicken and waffles which she thoroughly enjoyed. Also had fried banana peppers with a pimento spread. Pretty nice combination. Staff was super helpful. They also have wings with a lot of great sauces to try. That will be my order for next time. Cant wait to come back.

Crunchy outside and juicy inside is the epitome of fried chicken! The tender platter was colossal…read moreand fed both kids and could really have fed two adults. I liked the t beers (white meat) the best. Melting the mouth breast with crunchy exterior. My chicken and waffles did not really hit the spot for me. I learned I'm not a fan of open fried thighs because they were fatty and that consistency in my mouth was not appetizing; but, they were well done and seasoned perfectly. The waffle was fluffy inside and just a tad burnt outside. FYI: the syrup is kinda spicy. Pleasant interior with friendly and attentive service.
