Still good after all these years! Consistently good food, take out or delivery, masks are worn and partitions are up for protection. The friend chicken wings were tender, the rice noodles rocked, both kinds, flat and thin. A local family-owned small business! Yum!

Terrible customer service. I ordered scallion pancakes, and from the picture you can clearly see they are burned. And it was tough to eat. I brought it back to the restaurant and asked for a new order and the lady at the front kept saying this is how it's supposed to look. She then picked out one or two good pieces and asked if these were burned as a means of justifying the dish. She refused to admit the mistake. I've been here a few times before and ordered scallion pancakes and never had them burned before so I know what it's supposed to look like. Will NOT be returning to this restaurant. Willis Ave has another Chinese restaurant with similar food.

New York Chinese food with a lot of love on top of that - it does not get better than this. Ok it…read moredoes: 1) The best egg drop soup in NY 2) Really, really good dinner combo C 23, the General Tso's Chicken with really good, juicy, crispy and tasty chicken and minimal batter in that gorgeous, sweet n tangy and slightly spicy rich sauce. Then the smoky and sweet pork fried rice. Oh wait, how about that egg roll; I am talking about the perfect balanced flavorful moist filling yet crispy non greasy crust as you smile and get into that packet of duck sauce. 3) The owner is something else. I ate in( about 7 chairs) and loved seeing the regulars popping in every few minutes to get their pick up orders that she already knew about including the omissions and special needs. Just a lovely, loving person whose kindness makes the food taste even better. 4) The inside is simple. Hey they pack a punch and it is a knockout! 5) She does not charge a cc processing add on fee. Seriously - for great Chinese food with amazing service and smiles galore from the chefs to the ladies at the counter, please park just east of Willis Ave on Hillside in Mineola and enjoy a meal at Chen's that will stay with you.

They share the Roast pork and Chinese vegetables with pork fried rice and won ton soup and the Chicken and shrimp combo with an egg roll. The flavor was great in every dish. We like the thick wonton wrapper for the wonton in the soup. Nice big chunks of vegetables in every dish. The Kung Po Chicken had the heat level spice that I like. Great food and friendly service keeps us coming back to our favorite Chinese takeout restaurant

We wanted to go to an old school eat in Chinese restaurant but didn't feel like travelling far so…read morewe stumbled upon this gem. We were served tea and crispy noodles with duck sauce immediately when we sat. The tea was very good. Drinks are very reasonable compared to other restaurants. My cosmo and my husband's Zobie were $13.00 each. The menu is extensive. It's authentic but they have classic dishes also. We had the tangerine beef and general tso's chicken. The beef was good, but the chicken dish was excellent and white meat only. The portions are huge so next time we will probably split a meat dish and a noodle dish. The larger round tables have a lazy Susan in the center and would be perfect for a group to share. Restaurant was clean and bright. You can tell it used to be a diner but we didn't care about that. I'm looking forward to going back.

Another wonderful meal tonight at one of our favorite Long Island spots--we've been coming here…read moreregularly since last year, and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is welcoming and warm, but Tiffany truly stands out. She is gracious, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful--someone who remembers you and makes you feel like more than just a table. Tonight, when things slowed down a bit, we had the chance to catch up and share a few laughs, which made the evening feel even more special. As for the food, it was just as impressive. I had the twin lobster with ginger and scallion over E-Fu noodles--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered his usual--eggs with mixed vegetables--which isn't on the menu, but they always accommodate when possible. He thoroughly enjoyed it, as he always does. Fresh, delicious food paired with standout, heartfelt service is exactly why we keep coming back. This place has truly become one of our regular favorites.

A MUST HAVE PLACE AND DEFINITELY DINE IN FOR SURE TO GET MORE OF THE EXPERIENCE. Everything was so delicious. I had leftovers which I ate for breakfast today. Ate some of the Pu Pu Platter as snack and some of the lunch special about 30mins ago. And I'm having the rest as my late dinner. The words that come to mind on their dishes are DELICIOUS, FRESH, TENDER, CRISPY, MOIST and JUICY. At Happy Garden the prices are very reasonable and great portion size. Lunch specials are amazing. Lunch just for me I ordered a 3 lunch specials, 1 appetizer and 1 main dish. Add veggies for a couple xtra dollars to the fried rice. It's worth it. Fresh and hand cut veggies. The pork in the pork fried rice you get in every bite. All dishes are delivered hot that's why I always keep tipped 20%. * Lunch Special: BBQ Ribs with pork fried rice and hot&sour soup. Ribs are moist, sweet and juicy. Hot&Sour Soup has the perfect amount of variety of veggies, broth and just delicious. * Lunch Special: Fried Chicken Wings with pork fried rice and Wonton soup. 4 pieces of whole perfectly fried chicken wings. Crispy crunch, moist, juicy and flavorful. Wonton Soup was just perfect. Wonton thickness, fillings and broth was delicious. * Lunch Special: Beef mixed veggies with pork fried rice and egg drop soup. Great portion of thick sliced seasoned Beef which was so tender and flavorful. Hand cut veggies (cut baby corn, whole red peppers, broccoli, sliced mushrooms, celery, onions and carrots). * Pu Pu Platter. I was so shocked they had Pu Pu Platter. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and the atmosphere was relaxing and quite pleasant. My mother had her BBQ spare-ribs with roast pork fried rice and I had chicken with broccoli also with roast pork fried rice, wonton soup and we each had ice cream. The service and food were very good and there was plenty of parking and once we found the restaurant we were very easily able to find our way back to Lakeville Road to Macy's to do our Christmas shopping. We will definitely return and probably order something else next time. It is definitely worth a second visit!
