I paid $55 for a bridesmaid dress to be fixed up a little bit. Half an inch in on the shoulders and maybe 2 inches off the bottom cause the dress was long I could step on it when I walked. Once here I tried the dress on with heels. The lady put on 1 pin to measure and had me take off the dress. When I came back 3 days later the dress was barely short enough for me to not step on it. If I leaned down or even look down I would step on the dress. I voiced being unsatisfied with the length and she said it wouldn't be done in time, if they hemmed it again, fair enough. Amazing little alternations place. They're so nice and offer quick turn around service. They have a couple fitting rooms to try on your items so they can pin them to alter. Absolutely love coming to this spot for quick and simple alterations. It's a bit of a drive for me from OC but it's definitely worth it whenever I have a pile of items. I usually bring my jeans/slacks to shorten and taper. They also do a decent job helping me better fit my dress shirts as I'm pretty small and most men's clothing runs big on me. The ladies here can sometimes come off as rude but I do understand that there's a language barrier so be patient cus I know they really do try their best! If you're looking for more complex altercations to your clothing and are more picky then I don't recommend coming here as they're more on the simple side. I am so glad to finally have found a great alterations place and they are too inexpensive! I usually pay them more. I have had pants and dresses altered. The ladies that work here are pros! They are Asian and some don't really speak English much, so I think this is the reason why some people think they come off as rude. And because they are pros, they know when to say "no" to an alteration because they know the alteration will compromise the garment. read more

Rude rude rude! I came to see about getting my daughter's dress altered for a wedding. I walked inside. There were two ladies working. They didn't even acknowledge. I walked inside. I had to go in practically all the way to her face and say hi. Can I get some help? She stares at me and then says something in her native language to the other worker. She puts her head down and continues working. I say I'm sorry, I don't understand that. Will you be able to help me? She says something again to the lady. The other lady turns around and asks if that's the dress I need fixed. I replied yes she asked me to put it on my daughter. I slip it on real quick and I'm there again being ignored. The first lady looks at me. Says something again to the lady and the other lady that is working says wait and continues. Sewing whatever she's sewing. I waited not long because by then I'm frustrated. Then I say you know what you guys are rude. I don't need your business and I walked out. The second lady came outside and tried to ask if I needed any alterations and by that time I said you know what. I don't need your business and you don't need mine. Those ladies have a good sense of humor, one Asian lady said where did you take it "aye, aye, aye." I was greeted when I arrived. One lady speaks English. All of them were kind to me. Customer service is NOT their strong point. You probably won't be greeted at the door. They won't smile when you walk in. Prices are sometimes inconsistent but I think they're beyond reasonable. So, if that bothers you, this isn't the place for you. It's cash only. You can pay when you drop off or at pick up. There's a 7-Eleven next-door with an ATM if you forget your cash. I've taken a few formal dresses in to be altered. First dress was 2 layers and needed to be hemmed & the mesh beaded straps needed to be adjusted. I was only charged $23. It was done the next day. Second dress was a single layer but much more material. I also had my daughter Sherpa sweater shortened because it was too long and total for both garments was $35. I think prices are more than fair. They do have a fast turnaround time, most of the times. But my bad review is mostly because they're price isn't balance all across their different type of service. Most of the time they charge $5 to hem a jean which is reasonable. My husband has come here quite a few times. $5 per jeans. I took in 5 different jeans which was $25 and I was okay with that. However, I had 2 pants that needed sewing. I'm bad at sewing so I thought it was easier to have someone do it. 1 leg, maybe 4 inches to hem = $6. 1 leg for $6?!?! I had shorts that didn't need hem, a simple sewing so the crease didn't mess up after washing and drying = $5! I also had 2 blazers that needed sewing as the thread had come off after a few washes... $6 each! The jeans take more to cut and sew yet the simple ones were more expensive. I was going to come out paying more than $50 for a few clothing items. PLUS, they're service is so bad. All ladies are always mad. Always! They always give attitude and killer eyes.
