And, well, I won't keep you in suspense but that first bite of the salted honey butter and jam biscuit was transcendental. It was a little crumbly but so chewy and moist, and the jam and honey butter combo was incredible. Indescribable. They have so many pastry options, as well as breakfast sandwiches, but I really had eyes only for the biscuits. Also tried the cheddar scallion biscuit - amazing. I'm running out of adjectives to describe how good these were. The key for super flaky, tender biscuits is using very, very cold butter and not mixing the dough too much. It was cool to watch people baking in the back kitchen. Got the quiche as well. Tasty, with a nice mix of egg and veggies and cheese, with a well-made crust, but next time I would just get more biscuits. Lots of free parking spots in front and nearby. There's little space inside the store, which makes the queue a bit unwieldy, but it does move quickly and it's well worth the wait (and the drive).

This place is a whole vibe. Sleek and coastal and somehow also whimsical, Little Wolf is a great space to have your morning recharge. They make their own variety of flavored syrups, ranging from the standard vanilla to a botanical blend called Bouquet. Most importantly, their beans are incredible. The Finca that they served in my drink was a tasty lighter roast, which enticed me to buy a bag (similar roast, not the same). This price is not very clear but it is $28 (out of sight out of mind, I guess). Of course great coffee requires great baristas. Looking forward to coming back!

Hot reportedly is pretty good and the iced is not very strong. I ordered an iced tea. When iced tea is made fresh from actual tea (a good thing), then sits in the fridge for 6 or 7 days (a bad thing), it gets a very distinctive stale taste and that's exactly what this iced tea had. It was old and stale. I threw it away and since the egg sandwich was so dry, I pulled a bottle of water I had in my beach tote to wash it down. My cousin asked the friendly staffer (super friendly, actually, so a shout out to them) for some salt and this turned into a task. She had to ask someone else and that person had to go off somewhere to get some from a plastic container. If you're going to serve unseasoned food, have salt available, please. I ordered a croissant, which was OK and my other cousin ordered a blueberry slab dessert that was smothered in so much icing that it was sickeningly sweet. We joked that eying it from the side, the icing was thicker than the pastry itself. One of us grabbed a knife and tried to scrape some off to no avail. It fell apart, none of us wanted any more and we tossed most of it. I like to support small businesses, but this was not a good experience for us.
