I have repeatedly felt that my concerns about my daughter have not been taken seriously. At her 2-month appointment, I raised concerns about her head shape and torticollis, but I did not feel they were appropriately addressed. At her 4-month appointment, I brought up my concerns about her head again. At that appointment, Dr. Reed did recommend that we see a helmet specialist, which was helpful and something I do want to give credit for. The helmet specialist was ultimately the one who identified that my daughter had severe torticollis and recommended physical therapy. Her current physical therapist agrees with that assessment. Despite my concerns about torticollis being raised earlier, it was not acknowledged by Dr. Reed until her 6-month appointment, when I needed a referral for physical therapy. At her 6-month appointment, I also raised another concern that Dr. Reed said she would evaluate. It was forgotten during the appointment, and I had to remind her at the very end. She then said my daughter would need a prescription. However, that conversation is not included in the clinical notes, and no prescription was ever provided. More concerningly, when my daughter was prescribed antibiotics and began having significant adverse effects, including repeatedly being unable to keep anything down and becoming dehydrated, I contacted the office for guidance. I was told to continue giving the medication as long as she did not develop hives. Given the symptoms I was reporting, I found this response extremely concerning. The nurse line has also been frustrating to use. Calls regarding health concerns have not been returned, leaving me without timely guidance when I was actively trying to get help for my child. I understand that pediatric offices are busy, and I do not expect every concern to result in a diagnosis or treatment. What I do expect is to be heard, have concerns appropriately evaluated, receive clear follow-up when something requires it, and have significant discussions accurately documented in my child's medical record. After multiple experiences like these, I no longer have confidence in the level of communication and follow-through provided by this practice. I would strongly encourage parents to consider these factors when choosing a pediatrician.

From our very first meeting, we felt completely at ease--she was warm, approachable, and knowledgeable. We were living in West Plano at the time and chose her without hesitation. Since then, both of our children have been under her care since birth. Even after moving to the McKinney/Allen area, we continue to make the drive to Willow Bend Pediatrics just to see Dr. Le--that's how much we value her care. They're always able to get us in when one of our kiddos isn't feeling well, and my kids actually love going to the doctor because of her. That says a lot! Dr. Le has an incredible bedside manner--she's warm, friendly, and always takes the time to listen and explain things thoroughly. We've never once felt rushed during an appointment. As long as we're in the DFW area, she will absolutely remain our pediatrician. We can't recommend her enough!

After taking off work to make it work, significant storms came in and made it to where we were 15 minutes late. From the time of our appointment to when we were done, it took approximately 1.5 hours with about 30 minutes wait interval between measurements/wgt, seeing the doctor, and then nurses for the shots. If you have an infant /toddler, this feels like eternity. This has been a very frustrating aspect and would give a five star recommendation otherwise.

The staff is incredible and they have a separate waiting room for sick kids and kids in for wellness check ups. Each have a nice flatscreen on the wall with very kid friendly movies playing. The nurses are well versed and always up beat and helpful. One of the coolest things about this place is if your child is sick they will actually see them that day! I have had this happen twice and both times I called in they were able to fit me in the same day. Such an awesome policy to help put first time moms at ease. We see Dr. Katz and he's perfect for my personality. He's very confident and calm. Even crazy questions or worries don't seem to phase him.
