Great Dr and excellent care they could use a office makeover but that's not really why we go is it. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Patel-Banker is the absolute best. I have been going through a 2 year ordeal in which I…read moreexhibited multiple symptoms of different autoimmune disorders. I went to several doctors who could not decide if I had Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis or just need to lose weight and have a psych exam *Rollseyes*. My symptoms were getting worse and I seemed to be unable to get any of the doctors I was seeing to actually listen to me. My labs were all over the place so there was nothing showing a straightforward diagnosis. Dr. Patel-Banker ran some labs (and additional ones that I had not yet had), and thought outside the box for a diagnosis - AND SHE FOUND IT. More importantly than anything, she listened to me, was empathetic and showed a genuine interest in my symptoms and in getting me better so I could get some control over my life and manage this illness instead of letting it manage me. I cried after my first appointment - with RELIEF. These illnesses can be difficult to manage, and it helps to have a doctor who will take the journey with her patient and look to everything, the whole patient, to get the best treatment plan going. Just a doctor who truly listens is a unicorn in this battle; you should run out now and make an appointment with her! In addition there is a group in Plano of women that are all working together - an Internal Medicine Doctor, a Neurologist and an Allergist/ Immunologist; they are all great doctors and terrific women to work with. (Dr. Mohapatra - Internal Medicine, Dr. Thirunarayanan - Neurology, Dr. Ghazi - Allergy/Immunology)

My family and I have been going to DDA for years now. Once I was in college, the pediatric doctor…read morewouldn't see me anymore (I know, right?!) so I had to find a doctor that would give me a physical so I could play collegiate soccer. (You just checked my pictures, didn't you, sorry to disappoint *wink*) (Enter stage right, Dr. Chapman) He definitely took care of me. You know all the regular stuff. "Breathe deeply. Now breathe normally. This might be cold. Turn your head and cough." He's a good doctor and I've seen him for any problems I've had since then, some of them major (shingles) and some of them minor (dizziness). Later on, I had a pituitary tumor and was referred to Dr. Extrum. Dr. X is a good doctor as well. Early on, the tumor required blood work every month. I was scheduled for monthly appointments only for him to share the results. I felt like I didn't need to spend a co-pay for him to just tell me the results just to have another blood test in 30 days, so I asked if I needed to see him and he said, "I don't see why. Just come and pick up your lab paperwork, no need to see me." Saving money is always a plus in my book, so I appreciate him giving me a break. I have seen Dr. Kusch, and he has helped me with my eczema and psorisis. They've always been good about calling me about my results as well as filling prescriptions. You can schedule an appointment online which is very helpful, though I've found that calling them usually results in sooner appointments and faster scheduling. The last time I scheduled an appointment, they said, "We have an opening tomorrow at 1:15 or the next opening we have is in two months." A busy doctor can't be a bad doctor, can he?

Avoid this practice at all costs. Their online system is completely useless - I spoke to a live…read moreagent about needing a new provider for an annual visit as my previous provider with their practice went to "signature care" i.e. charge you $2000+ a year for the privilege of being a patient. They scheduled me and confirmed the visit only to call days before the visit to cancel saying "that provider is not taking new patients." The office couldn't understand how the appointment was able to be booked by one of their own schedulers. No doctor you want to see is taking new patients, despite their own website listing every physician under the "accepting new patients filter" Just an all around mess of a practice.

After every class I have brought home SO many helpful take tips that I can implement pretty much immediately! The relationship talk helped me relate better to my husband (like no more drive-by conversations), and the organization talk that I just went to last month has totally simplified and streamlined my home and office (as I glance at my standing file I made, thanks to her suggestion-which means I am no longer buried in paper). She also slipped in some tips to help us keep the fire alive in our marriages and I've implemented those already too, like the business meeting date and the at-home date night (kids go to bed early and we get some quality time without them). Such simple tips and really have made SUCH a difference in my life and relationships. Her wealth of knowledge is amazing and you can tell she loves teaching and sharing this information with others. She really is different than any other coach I have met- she is so relatable and really understands who she is talking to, so she can help best. Jenny's spectacular!
