I've seen other doctors throughout the years in different cities for acute illnesses, but none have listened to me, invested their time with me, and taken all of my words into consideration like Dr. King. He is a rare jewel in the medical field. My entire family goes to him and trusts him with their care. He is thorough, thoughtful, and VERY intelligent. He takes his time to explain everything to you in a way that can better help you understand all of the medical jargon, and what it all means to your overall health. He has only referred me to specialists that he trusts and respects, and only when he has personally exhausted all of his capabilities as a family doctor. I've never cared about wait time or appointment availability, because Dr. King's word and and assessment is my "gold standard." I understand that he takes his time and care with every patient that comes into his office, and quite literally trust him with my life! I've seen a few negative reviews about wait time - but you really have to know Dr. King and the personalized care he considers for each of his patients to fully appreciate what his time is worth. I actually recently had an ongoing episode with cellulitus in my leg where I thought I needed to go into the hospital but was unsure, he allowed me to stop by on a Saturday last minute (and they were just closing too) to get a status on the leg. He decided it was time for me to go to the hospital, printed out all of my current treatment up to that point himself, and told me about the possible hospitals in this area and their ups and downs before arranging for me to be checked in. He did all of this on a Saturday pass business hours and did not even charge me for the visit. Not sure what is going on with the other review on here with billing but sounds odd to me.
