I have been coming to Dr. Albert for about three years. I am so happy that I found him. Dr. Albert and Shandolyn are intelligent, caring, and not only are they extremely thorough, the doctor, phycian assistant and the staff are warm and friendly. I never feel rushed, and all of my questions are answered. I love that I can also walk in with out an appointment. When I have an appointment of course that is better because I don't have to wait long. As a walk in my wait time depends on how busy they are and I am assuming the patients who have appointments. I have been seen immediately at times as a walk in, and other times it did take a long time. I was ok with that because at least I didn't have to go to the hospital or wait until I could get an appointment. On Fridays they use to have the staff wearing blue jeans. I loved that. It was part of there casual down to earth atmosphere. However I did not think that this implied that they were not serious about medical culture. I am so sorry that they are no longer having there staff wearing jeans on Fridays. I love this practice. I know that alot of people want everything to be cosmopolitan and chic. This practice is not that. What it is is clean, warm, caring, with staff that is smart, and knowledgeable, and loves people. For me this is more my cup of tea. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. These people could not care less about you. They completely refused to help with a refill of my antidepressant. They refused to work with my insurance to get my appointments covered. They purposefully did procedures during my appointment that we not covered under my insurance and I was forced to pay out of pocket for them. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Facility: Old furniture and equipment. The place could use some remodeling. Staff: None of the staff wore scrubs. Instead, they all wore jeans and a tee-shirt or polo. That may show for how professional they are. Doctor: He is an elderly physician, I got the impression that he was very old fashion and didn't keep up with new standards in medicine. read more

Dr. Alberts and his staff are always amazing they explain everything in detail. The office is always very clean and tidy. They do everything right there in the office including bloodwork and some procedures. Dr. Albert was a ER Dr. before starting his own practice so he is very knowledgeable. Dr. Albert is the best and the staff is so nice and helpful. I called to make an appointment for our yearly physical for my 6yr old, 10 yr old and myself. I was looking for a Dr. that could help me with my plant base diet. He was extremely helpful with his advise and I felt so comfortable with him. He made sure he looked at all my labs to check I was good with my vitamins and nutrition. My kids laughed and had a great time when it was their turn. He gave my son great example on how our body works and how much water is in our body. He then went to his office and came back with a plate full of fruits. He sat down in front of my kids and told them everyday this is how his breakfast looks like, a big beautiful plate of colorful fruits. Afterward, he offered some fruit to my kiddos. I have not visited a Dr. like Dr. Albert in the past, He took his time to listen to all my concerns and questions. Never did I feel rushed and he was sooo happy to hear about my plan base diet! Not even a star. Negative -5 The communication skills of the nurse's staff and doctors are lacking. We came in 13 days ago, to have some papers filed out (only have 15 days to fill out and send back). My mom's doctor wasn't in, but no one told us. We sat there for 40mins to 1 in a half waiting. Then they told us "sorry your PC doctor isn't here. Doctor Albert can't fill out a form, he's not your doctor. Come back tomorrow". So we came back the next day, the same thing happened again. They said to come back on Monday the 25th, (5 days passed). So Monday we came and again, she's not here but she will be here on Wednesday 27th. (They forgot she was off) (so doctor Albert was by himself for the whole week of Thanksgiving) So Wednesday we saw her. She took the papers and said she was busy, she will fill out and we can come Monday Dec 2nd (13 days now)(because Thanksgiving, off Friday, Saturday and Sunday) So it's mon and she wasn't in, and we have to wait for her. The said tomorrow... These people are not good, the wait time is 30 to 40 mins sitting in the lobby. Then you get called. They put you in a room and you sit and wait for another 30 to 40 mins. Then finally doctor comes in. Talks and leaves. You sit and wait again 20 to 30 mins. Then the doctor comes in again and talks 20mins. Finally after being here for 140mins (2hrs and 20 mins here). This is an everyday thing, you only see the doctor for maybe 40mins and the rest of the time your sitting and waiting, the shuffle you from the lobby to the room to make you think you're next. And there are times when they have forgotten we were waiting, he had to pop our heads out. Now we are sitting and waiting, hopefully, they filed it outright. Not a good place. Horrible bedside manner, they forget to send in your prescription, they don't know anything about their patient's info, and overbook and only two doctors. But half the time only one doctor here in the building. Nurse staff talks and on there phone in the lobby and back in the nurse station. They are more focus on decorating the tree and lobby and patients. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Not because of the doctor, he was nothing short of perfect. It was the front desk staff and MA's that completely ruined the experience for my mother and her will to go back for a follow-up visit. They have poor and horrible communication with their patients. As a former healthcare professional, it is our ethic duty to inform patients with specific detail the tests that will be performed and the fees. This is done in order to leave it ultimately up to the patient so they can accept or decline. Not wait for the patient to ask what are the charges and what will be performed. Am I correct? Well apparently this is not the attitude and state of mind of the front desk personnel. From the MA's to the department of billing. Speaking of billing, the employee that is in charge of it flat out told me that my mom had to ask first instead of assuming that she was covered for everything. As if my mom can read medical coding and billing and will know prior to her visit what they will perform on her. L O L. She also mentioned that it was one of the most affordable clinics in the DFW. Is more than $2k the total of ONE bill affordable to anybody? ESPECIALLY with the pandemic going on? HA HA. I feel terrible for the doctor and his business. My mother had already referred at least about 10 people there and 5 of them were thinking of going within the next week. OBVIOUSLY not anymore. She did not offer anything nothing an apology. This was a joke. Please stay away from this clinic if you can, and DO NOT assume that if you have insurance you will be covered and informed according to them FIRST YOU MUST ASK. Lol. read more

First, Dr. Albert is an amazing teaching physician and my children and I learn from him every time we have a visit. On the other-hand, his staff does NOT reflect that. I believe they may take advantage of serving majority of lower-income families and can get a way with half-doing their job to SERVE patients. I Do NOT like writing these kinds of reviews, but his staff needs to be evaluated before he's liable. I am NOT complaining on just ONE incident. First, I had paperwork that was suppose to be sent to my child's school, that shows his diagnosis. Dr. Albert was the referring physician and all my child's medical records went to his office. The staff sent back he was never diagnosed, once I made them aware of it they did it again, not ONCE but TWICE. On the second incident, my son was referred to another physician by Dr. Albert. I delivered them the required document from the other physician for Dr. Albert to sign, they misplaced them and found them a month later, AFTER I had to go back and do the process all over again (please note that I live 45mins away). The third incident is the one that has me upset. 2 years in a row I have taken my child for their immunizations . I told the nurse I believe he needs vaccines they take the immunization records as if they reviewed it, come back and say he doesn't need them, even though he's at the age where it's required. When I went to my child's school the nurse there said it was incorrect. I call back to Dr. Albert staff and they told me they had no available appts, so I can walk in. So I do, I waited over an hour, there were people who were sick coming in and my children weren't sick. So we left, the next day they still refuse to get me in even though it's THEIR error. So I ask for a prescription for the 2 vaccines, that way I can go to a nearby pharmacy to get them administered. The staff member I spoke to stated "call back at 4 " when I asked when they closed she stated 5 o'clock. Mind you school starts tomorrow. Needless to say , I will NOT be returning to see Dr. Albert, due to his staff. It's sad because he's such an incredible physician. read more
