He was professional, kind, and took the time to connect with us during an important moment for our family. Our daughters are seen at the clinic by PA Sarah Cunningham, who has consistently provided thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate care. She is wonderful with children and takes the time to explain things clearly, which we value as parents. In recent years, our family has changed how we approach certain medical decisions, particularly after experiencing how federal guidance and corporate policies were broadly applied to everyday Americans. What we appreciate about Shine Pediatrics is that they respect informed parental involvement. We never feel judged, pressured, or talked down to for asking questions or wanting to be fully informed -- instead, we feel listened to and respected. We are very thankful for the care we've received and would confidently recommend Shine Pediatrics to other families.

We love Centennial Pediatrics. Dr Chad Smith is awesome. He always takes time to listen to my…read moreconcerns. We never feel rushed and I feel like he really cares about my son. This was my sons first pediatrician and we really enjoy this office. They have flexible scheduling and have ALWAYS been able to get us in for same day sick visits. They're also open on Saturday's. Billing department is so friendly and will happily explain your bill and even has worked out a payment plan with me in the past. The nurses don't make you wait in the waiting room for more than maybe two minutes; they're very quick to get you in a room. There's never much of a wait for the doctor either- maybe 5-7 minutes. Everyone is always friendly and happy & they welcome you in when you come in. I also like how they ask "can he have an L-O-L-L-I-P-O-P?" (They spell it out) so my kid doesn't know what they're asking and I can say no and he doesn't know what he missed. LOL. It's really so many small things about this office that make it great. I'm not sure what the bad reviews are for other than it seems other reviewers don't like the policy of having to fax over vaccine records, growth checks, and dr notes. This is all pretty standard since if you're transferring your child's care, a new doctor NEEDS to see how your child has done in the past to best see how they are doing in the current moment & in the years moving forward. It seems unfair to me that people would give this place a low rating because they don't like the policy, but to each his own.

I've had the pleasure of meeting several doctors outside of my child's pediatrician, and they are all nice and attentive. There is a really cute jungle theme here! I thought the Dr was very friendly and thorough. My granddaughter felt completely at ease with her. We talked about allergies and I learned something new today - the correct way to use Flonase! A prescription was sent to the pharmacy via her iPad and off we went. On the way out, there is a sticker station where the kiddos can choose a sticker, so that was the big decision of the hour. Insurance was billed so I didn't need to make a payment at the visit. I thought the practice was efficient, caring and professional.

From our very first meeting, we felt completely at ease--she was warm, approachable, and knowledgeable. We were living in West Plano at the time and chose her without hesitation. Since then, both of our children have been under her care since birth. Even after moving to the McKinney/Allen area, we continue to make the drive to Willow Bend Pediatrics just to see Dr. Le--that's how much we value her care. They're always able to get us in when one of our kiddos isn't feeling well, and my kids actually love going to the doctor because of her. That says a lot! Dr. Le has an incredible bedside manner--she's warm, friendly, and always takes the time to listen and explain things thoroughly. We've never once felt rushed during an appointment. As long as we're in the DFW area, she will absolutely remain our pediatrician. We can't recommend her enough!

Not only did they fit her in for multiple checkups during that scary week the baby had RSV, they checked in over the weekend as well. Unless you are comfortable with 40+ minute wait times for a few minutes with the doctor, having…read moreconcerns dismissed, and having important conversations omitted from your child's clinical notes, I would strongly encourage you to consider another pediatric practice. I have repeatedly felt that my concerns about my daughter have not been taken seriously. At her 2-month appointment, I raised concerns about her head shape and torticollis, but I did not feel they were appropriately addressed. At her 4-month appointment, I brought up my concerns about her head again. At that appointment, Dr. Reed did recommend that we see a helmet specialist, which was helpful and something I do want to give credit for. The helmet specialist was ultimately the one who identified that my daughter had severe torticollis and recommended physical therapy. Her current physical therapist agrees with that assessment. Despite my concerns about torticollis being raised earlier, it was not acknowledged by Dr. Reed until her 6-month appointment, when I needed a referral for physical therapy. At her 6-month appointment, I also raised another concern that Dr. Reed said she would evaluate. It was forgotten during the appointment, and I had to remind her at the very end. She then said my daughter would need a prescription. However, that conversation is not included in the clinical notes, and no prescription was ever provided. More concerningly, when my daughter was prescribed antibiotics and began having significant adverse effects, including repeatedly being unable to keep anything down and becoming dehydrated, I contacted the office for guidance. I was told to continue giving the medication as long as she did not develop hives. Given the symptoms I was reporting, I found this response extremely concerning. The nurse line has also been frustrating to use. Calls regarding health concerns have not been returned, leaving me without timely guidance when I was actively trying to get help for my child. I understand that pediatric offices are busy, and I do not expect every concern to result in a diagnosis or treatment. What I do expect is to be heard, have concerns appropriately evaluated, receive clear follow-up when something requires it, and have significant discussions accurately documented in my child's medical record. After multiple experiences like these, I no longer have confidence in the level of communication and follow-through provided by this practice. I would strongly encourage parents to consider these factors when choosing a pediatrician.
