My infant son started going here with my insurance since he was born. We changed insurance to my husbands and made sure to give them a copy of his new insurance card. My sons two month shots we're approaching and I decided to randomly look at his new insurance. I called the office to ensure we were in network, as the office never told us we were out of network when we showed them his updated insurance weeks ago. They had me on the phone for an hour before telling me we are out of network and if I wanted to get my son his shots it would cost $800. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. They do not care about their patients and only money. As a new mom I found myself scrambling trying to find a new pediatrician before his shots were due. Luckily I found one so much better than this place so it was a blessing in disguise. read more

I'm very upset about being LIED to and spoken to in a condescending manner by a billing rep and front office staff. Was told to pay the balance (despite being in appeals process with insurance company) so my daughter could make an appointment. I paid the balance and now I'm told, "sorry for the misinformation but ALL balances must be paid (for other 2 children) to make an appointment." Why wasn't this said the other day? Now while waiting for an appointment I'm pushed to pay an urgent care after explaining multiple times I'm appealing the bill. Who pays with insurance, hundreds of dollars for sick visits??? At that price point I'll stop paying my insurance premium and go to urgent cares/ER's! The appointment process is awful. Long hold times. Sick visit to just be told to get OTC meds. I'm DEFINITELY SWITCHING practices. Not happy at all! And please educate your employees of being honest and empathetic when speaking to patients. Your process and rules are there for a reason but lying is unacceptable. read more

This place where to start. No consistency with the doctors and never any answers. Weve been coming here for over a year and have seen the same doctor maybe 3-4 times. Every other time is another doctor. We've given them the symptoms that is being experienced and it's been ignored. A child's health isn't something to play with. The office experience is great, they love sending out bills to make money, but really don't provide any solutions. The care is pretty standard nothing that stands out. Maybe if something was treated properly I could give a higher rating and or sing their praises. At this point, a search to find a replacement is underway. Maybe we'll be treated like humans instead of someone who just takes it while getting billed for nothing. They most likely don't read the reviews nor care about how they're perceived. read more

We have been a patient of PAD, Dallas location, since my son was born a little over a year ago. We've had a good experience but recently had to go to the Plano location when my son was sick and we were staying at my parents' house. I LOVE this location! Easy to get an appointment and it did not seem as busy as the Dallas location. Everyone, from the front desk, to the nurse, to Dr. Dunlap was fantastic and took time to take care of us. At no point did we feel rushed. In the year since we have started with PAD, I have noticed a HUGE improvement in how they handle phone calls; wait times are much shorter than they were previously and they give you an estimated length you will be on hold (and you're usually on hold for a much shorter amount of time). I understand the previous complaints because when my son was first born, the way the phones were handled almost made me want to switch doctors. But again, they have listened to feedback and improved greatly in this area. read more

Dr. Nicole Corrigan-Garrett is the best. She has such amazing bed side manner. She's so patient with my girls and they love going to the doctor to see her! She answers all my questions without making me feel like I'm being an inconvenience. I wish she could be my doctor, LOL! My sons pediatrician recently retired and I am so thankful to find Dr. Web she is wonderful, has an awesome bedside manner and directs her attention to the patient even though he's only 9 she talks directly to him and listens to every concern and explanation he has. She never rushes through our office visits which I love. They even have late night office hours open until 8 some nights. Whenever we've had an urgent issue there has not been a problem getting an appointment. If she is not available there are other doctors in the practice however if we can get it with Dr Webb I'd prefer to see her. The waiting area is split up for sick or well patients which is perfect since the last thing you want is to be in a room with a sick kid sniffling and touching everything. The only reason I didn't give the 5th star is because of the billing. I am always required to make the co payment when we check in, which is fine that is pretty much how it is these days everywhere. However about 3 weeks after our visit I've gotten a bill of the co payment requesting payment be remitted upon receipt of the bill. I've had to contact the office each time in order to get this straightened out. Each time this has happened they were able to find my credit card receipt from when I paid on the date of service. I'm not sure if this has been corrected, we recently had an appointment and I have yet to receive a bill so my fingers are crossed that this has already been addressed. The best pediatrician my kids have ever had. Highly recommended! read more

So much trouble to get our appointment. We couldn't even see the doctors. I called 3 times and apparently they have a person for every different appointment. So the person in charge of first time appointments was on the phone those 3 times. She returned my call after 2 hours and had an attitude like she didn't care so I had to interrupt the conversation and tell her thank you but I think that's not the best service for us. I'm just leaving this review hoping they change this process because that's really disappointing. read more

My son was placed on ADD meds for focus while in another doctors care for the last 5yrs. When we moved - we selected Dr. Hayes (PAD) to take over. We are NOW charged $15 for every script that is written. His meds are $165 a month plus each month I get charged an additional $15 for her handwriting and signature on the notepad paper. We have never been charged by a pediatrician or psychiatrist for writing scripts. EVER! ***Office ..... Every time I call it goes to a recording being looped until an actual person/staff answers. That generally is anywhere from 8-37 minutes!! Finally a front office person will pick up, then take my message for a nurse to call back. DON'T ever miss the nurses call back. I had stepped into the shower and after 3 hours, I got the return call - I missed the call by seconds and actually called back within 1 minute. Waited to get thru again for 11mins then someone finally answered and said the nurse would have to call me back again. I explained to her I just missed the phone call and the nurse was still leaving a message on my voice mail. She said, "I will give her the message and she will need to call you back". She did call back again, but it was 1 hour and 10 mins later. read more

My twins, now 15, have been seen by Dr. Webb since they were 1. I highly recommend Pediatric Associates of Dallas (Plano location) and am so thankful to have had Dr. Webb as their Pediatrician. Over the past 14 years, she has cared for my children as if they were her own, and what a fabulous job she has done! This review is bitter sweet, for my kids are growing up and soon will outgrow the need for a pediatrician (sniff...sniff). TRUST- I trust Dr. Webb like no other. When the kids were infants, Dr. Webb held my hand every step of the way. Through each cold, flu, bump and scrape she fit my family in her schedule and made me feel at ease with each diagnosis. As they grew, so did my need for her. We've been through fractures, concussions, asthma and now the teen years. Those of you with preteens, beware! The teen years are a condition in itself. Dr. Webb has helped me deal with each phase of their emotional development with sound common sense advice. BEDSIDE MANNER - My children trust Dr. Webb too. From day one, she has gotten down on their level and spoken to them, as if they were the most important person in her world. I do not mind occasionally waiting to see her because when it's my turn, she takes all the time I need to thoroughly explain everything and answer all my questions. I honestly have never felt rushed through an appointment. STAFF- The front desk personnel have always been cheerful, respectful and caring. The nurses, some of whom have been there from the beginning, do a lot of listening and are quite compassionate even when you least expect it. (Screaming 4 year old refusing a shot!) PAD's fantastic doctors have been there for us for 18 years since our daughter Claire was born. Our youngest is now 9 and we so appreciate the care they have given us. Not only are the doctors excellent and thorough (particular shout outs for Drs. Dunlap, Hayes and Corrigan) the nurses on call after hours are extremely responsive and helpful. Excellent Pediatricians & Staff!!! I've been taking my daughter here since she was a newborn and 3 years later we're still very satisfied with the care, attention, and service we receive from Dr. Hayes & Dr. Webb. They take walk-ins or appointments at short notice notice or even schedule check-up appts months in advance. The nurses will speak with you over the phone with any concerns you have, and even have the Dr. call you if advice is needed. They have a very nice office setting with a divided sick/well waiting room to reduce the exposure of sick patients to those just their for a check-up. The staff is always so nice and compassionate. Such a shame because we have had nothing but great experiences with all of the physicians on staff. I love the fact that you can see any doctor at any either location if your primary is unavailable. They also have wonderful hours to insure availability in the evenings and on the weekend. HOWEVER, we unfortunately will be looking for a new pediatrician based on the simple fact that to speak to someone, even to book an appointment, I sit on hold for no less than 15 minutes, often in the 20-30 minute range. The 'call back' function is a joke and I never receive a call back. If we can't get ahold of a person to see one of these wonderful doctors what is the point of continuing with the practice. read more

We have been going to Dr. Hayes with our two children for over 4 years now. We've always received exceptional care, and the staff is amazing with our kids. Dr. Hayes has amazing patience, and maintains a very calm demeanor that my children really respond to. I am so upset. I have been taking my daughter here for about 1.5 years. I have never been thrilled with the office, but its such a pain to find another practice and go through the interview process again. The wait time is a joke, you wait in the waiting room for about 20 minutes, then they take you back to a tiny room for another 20 minutes. Imagine being in a room like that with a toddler, and no toys/distractions. You may see the doctor for 3-5 minutes. Everything seems rushed. I don't know if they are taking on too many patients or not enough doctors, but I haven't been able to get my daughter in for a sick visit twice. My daughter has had a cough for about 10 months now, we have tried every medication, and they still keep brushing it off. I walked out of there for the last time yesterday evening, after waiting for an hour. I told the nurse to void my $15 copay, give me release forms, and I am leaving the practice. She didn't do anything to stop me, and had a bad attitude. I called the office manager (in tears) and still have not received a phone call. read more

We have used Dr. Web for about 9 years for my 3 children. Dr. Web is well mannered, but not sure if she's really paying attention to your concerns. I liked the after hours clinic. But, at times you waited over an hour to be seen. My last incident was when we got misdiagnosed. One of my children didn't gain any weight one year, did blood work, but never called back to discuss. I have to call so that someone will call back, sometimes several phone calls before someone get back. Since we pushed eating he gained some weight, so I blamed myself. But, his thyroid levels were low, never asked to recheck this. Now, year and a half later, go to the office with some diarrhea concerns. Ordered some stool labs, and sent us on our way saying he has hemorrhoids, and all labs came back negative. Called several times to get the results, not at all concerned even when he's not feeling well 2 weeks later. I have decided to go to a GI doctor, now he has Crohn's. He's suffering so much because we did not get treated on time. I am not sure how other doctors are in the practice, but I see that they have lot of new doctors now. Yes, it unfortunate, but we could have been directed to the correct direction long ago. read more

We have been going to this practice for 2 years and I think the doctors are great - if you can see them. As others have mentioned, the front desk/office staff is terrible. No one answers the phone and it's very difficult to make an appointment. They only "open the books" about 8 weeks in advance so you can't make routine check-up appointments while you are in the office but instead need to wait and call within weeks of when you want to come in, which is an extra hassle. I have tried to get my daughter in 3 times for same-day sick visits and all 3 times have been told "sorry, we're full today." I don't know if the doctors are aware that the front desk is forbidding people from bringing kids in the same day but it's a terrible practice because what is the point of having a pediatrician if you can't see them when you urgently need to? Instead I have had to take my daughter to urgent care (and spend a fortune) because she needed urgent medicine/care. We are moving and so will make do with this practice for one more check-up but otherwise we would leave. It's a shame because I do think the doctors are very knowledgeable and give good treatment, they should just completely overhaul the staff. read more

I'm a physician. In my opinion, this clinic is overrated. I walked into the Plano office with my 8 month old for the first time (we just relocated). The reception was unimpressive. A girl sitting at the front desk simply said 'hi' and continued writing for about 5 mins without even asking us to sign in or to take a sit. Long story short, when it was time to give my baby her vaccination, the 'nurse' that came to administer the vaccine was unbelievably uncouth and unethical. The most vexing thing she did was to place the little 'tapes' that are supposed to be applied to the skin to stop bleeding after injection, on the sharp container!!!! For those not familiar with a sharp container, it is the little red, secured plastic container where all used needles are disposed. It is not uncommon to find little blood stains on the exterior. When I politely told her to use different tapes, she threw a tantrum and asked me where else did I want her to place the 'tapes'. I had to hold the new tapes with my hands. When I complained to the male pediatrician that saw my duaghter (name withheld), his apology was tepid. To my chagrin, he did not seem to see anything wrong with placing 'tapes' on a container meant for used needles and applying the same 'tapes' on the bleeding skin of children. He didn't seem to see the connection between their horrific practice and the possibility of afflicting children with blood borne pathogens. For a physician not to see the connection is shocking. I didn't introduce myself as a physician ab initio........ until I deemed it necessary to do so. read more
