I knew I needed to find a salon & stylist to be loyal to. I came across CCC & decided I would make a quick phone call to get an appointment. I spoke with Stephanie; she asked me some qualifying questions to match me with a stylist that would be the best fit. Typically, salons are booked on Saturdays (from some experience & other calls that I made), but given the nature of my request, she told me she would schedule me for a Saturday appointment at 9:00 AM with Elise. She ensured me that Elise is their "color expert" & is very familiar with treating thick, long, damaged hair. My initial feeling when entering the salon was WOW, this place is STUNNING. The decor & the front desk were so modern & updated. I love the light fixtures that they have when you enter & over some of the products for sale. For someone such as myself who is not very versed in this sort of thing (going to get my hair done & being pampered), I felt like I was in a very nice & upscaled environment. I had a lot of appreciation for whoever was in charge of the interior design (more of my department). I was greeted right away when I walked in. There were not a great deal of customers at that time, which I can't complain about considering I would rather have more of a one-on-one experience. Each stylist's chair was the same & had furniture-style cabinetry with granite countertops. Elise knew she had a project when she was told about my appointment. She was excited, however. My "project" took (3) hours to complete! But in that time, we had a lot of great conversation. She genuinely cared about me & getting to know me. She did an AMAZING job! After washing my hair with exceptional products, to adding highlights & lowlights to the exact color I was envisioning with organic dye, to explaining the whole process including the toner, she really took pride in reinventing my hair that needed help. She didn't even shame me for using box dye ;) The end result was drying & curling my hair. She also asked if she could take pictures to post on her Instagram which I agreed to. Believe me, the before & after pictures are a substantial improvement! I already have my next appointment booked & I cannot wait!! Sure, it's not cheap to have hair dyed & treated, but it is worth it. Thank you, Elise, for your hard work! She's dyed my daughter's hair several different colors. Mine as well. Again, never disappoints! Not only is Kirsten amazing but all of the staff at Simplicity is awesome! They're always so inviting. As a Christmas gift, my neighbor & her daughter got me pedicure. I was tasked with picking the…read moreplace & time. With everything being by appointment only & trying to go somewhere local, I chose Serendipity. A friend of mine also recommended I try it. It's basically next to impossible to get a weekend appointment because of high demand, but luckily I work 2 minutes up the road & we snagged an appointment for 6:20. My neighbor & I got the "Heel Peel" pedicure, and her daughter (she's 8) got something like a "junior pedicure" or something (not sure). They are practicing COVID safety very well. You either call or text when you arrive to be let in. You pay ahead, as well. The room we were brought to had plexiglass between each chair. The sanitizing products they use were on deck & ready to use between each customer. We were the only 3 in the room, so it worked out anyway. We each had our own technician; they were all nice & fun to chat with. There wasn't anywhere to hang our coats or place our stuff, but it was out of the way (we set things on the floor beside us). The only part that I would say I disliked was the little time for the nail polish to dry. My toes were finished 2nd to last & they had only been drying for about 8 minutes. They said it would only need about 10 minutes, but being someone who paints their nails on a regular basis, I wanted to give at least 15. My neighbor's toes were done last & hers had only been drying for about 5 minutes. The spa was approaching closing time, which understandably we didn't want to be in their way, but I really don't think mine or my neighbor's nails were dry yet. We didn't bring sandals or flip flops because it had just snowed & frankly, I didn't think to bring any. One of the technicians came in to "check" the dryness, said we should be all set & returned to closing up. So we put our socks & shoes back on. I got home & my nails were all ruined. It was a big time bummer. My feet & heels were super soft & felt great, though! I would love to come back. I'll make an appointment with my mom & maybe try one of the other services they have. The environment inside is really eclectic & cozy.

They took their time on my pedicure and my nails came out okay not perfect but it was $80 before tip and that's waaayyy too expensive for a mani pedi with gel polish. I've never paid more than $50 for the service i just received. Last time I got my nails done at PureLuxe in the mall of NH it was $75 for a mani pedi with long acrylics. I got no acrylics or tips at all just painted nails and classic pedi. I wont be returning unless prices drop. I've worked tipped and service jobs and am all about paying someone their worth for a service but oh my goodness this was SO overpriced. I'm still kind of in shock I paid that much. I was in shock when they said the price which is why I didnt dispute it. Also I only even went during this time as I'm getting engagement photos taken and there's an empty spot with no polish at the top of my ring finger i just noticed so that's fun.
