This is a huge shoutout to Elise. That's the first thing I will start with. I am one of the worst people when it comes to taking care of my hair. Mind you, it's down my back & very thick. I knew I needed to find a salon & stylist to be loyal to. I came across CCC & decided I would make a quick phone call to get an appointment. I spoke with Stephanie; she asked me some qualifying questions to match me with a stylist that would be the best fit. Typically, salons are booked on Saturdays (from some experience & other calls that I made), but given the nature of my request, she told me she would schedule me for a Saturday appointment at 9:00 AM with Elise. She ensured me that Elise is their "color expert" & is very familiar with treating thick, long, damaged hair. My initial feeling when entering the salon was WOW, this place is STUNNING. The decor & the front desk were so modern & updated. I love the light fixtures that they have when you enter & over some of the products for sale. For someone such as myself who is not very versed in this sort of thing (going to get my hair done & being pampered), I felt like I was in a very nice & upscaled environment. I had a lot of appreciation for whoever was in charge of the interior design (more of my department). I was greeted right away when I walked in. There were not a great deal of customers at that time, which I can't complain about considering I would rather have more of a one-on-one experience. Each stylist's chair was the same & had furniture-style cabinetry with granite countertops. Elise knew she had a project when she was told about my appointment. She was excited, however. My "project" took (3) hours to complete! But in that time, we had a lot of great conversation. She genuinely cared about me & getting to know me. She did an AMAZING job! After washing my hair with exceptional products, to adding highlights & lowlights to the exact color I was envisioning with organic dye, to explaining the whole process including the toner, she really took pride in reinventing my hair that needed help. She didn't even shame me for using box dye ;) The end result was drying & curling my hair. She also asked if she could take pictures to post on her Instagram which I agreed to. Believe me, the before & after pictures are a substantial improvement! I already have my next appointment booked & I cannot wait!! Sure, it's not cheap to have hair dyed & treated, but it is worth it. Thank you, Elise, for your hard work! Creative Colors and Cuts was a very nice relaxing place to go. I was a walk in appointment and they got me in immediately. The very nice lady who worked on my hair did an excellent job and she had much experience in that field of work. She said the entire shop has very good experienced hair dressers which is appealing. The girl who answered the phone seemed annoyed I couldn't tell her exactly what I wanted done other than me saying foils or baylage. I understand they need an idea of what I want upfront, but I gave a general idea because I wanted the hairstylists opinion or advice once I got there. She asked me several times "so what exactly do You want..." She seemed to impatient and judgmental. She even laughed a bit. I said I'd call back because I was hoping I'd get someone else Answering the phone but I chose to go somewhere Else. Which is a real bummer because their work looked nice online. read more

This was my first visit, and it was fabulous to walk in and feel so warmly welcomed! I had consultation time with Brianna, who gave me her full attention. She did an outstanding job of coloring my hair, and the color was definitely perfect. I felt comfortable enough with her to talk about wanting to make a major style change (the first in many years!). She never pressured me, but I felt comfortable enough to put my full confidence in her and have about 6 inches cut off! I felt fabulous, and the reaction of others in the salon further boosted my belief that I had made the right decision. I left very happy, relaxed, and feeling that it had been a thoroughly enjoyable experience (not like the other Concord salon I used to frequent). Today was the tipping point for me with this salon. I have been in the midst of a five week string of frustration and disappointments with them. Initially I went in for a cut and color. After the color portion of my appointment I was told my hair would be blown out and then the layers would be cut. This unfortunately never happened. After the blowout I was escorted to appropriate lighting for a photo and then asked to meet my stylist upfront to pay. I initially thought perhaps I had misunderstood and my hair was cut while wet ( although I had a feeling it wasn't). I should have said something then and maybe all this could've been avoided, however I trusted in the stylist and salon, payed and left. After I arrived home and started really looking at my hair it was obvious it indeed did not get cut. I called the salon and was offered a very gracious apology and a speedy reschedule. I was completely happy and satisfied at this point, after all we are all human and mistakes happen! The following week I drove in to Concord for my appointment (I live an hour away). I was in the parking lot 5 minutes before my appointment when I received a call from the salon saying that my Stylist was admitted to the hospital that morning and I would have to reschedule. The young woman on the phone apologized and mentioned they had been too busy to call earlier in the day. Frustrated by the last minute notification I emailed the salon to voice my concerns. I promptly got an apology from the woman I spoke to and she admitted that there had actually been a misunderstanding and they had thought I had been contacted. This actually made me feel better about the situation as again Mistakes happen. I had a very busy few weeks coming up for work and wasn't able to immediately reschedule. In the interim the Salon owner reached out to me ( apparently she has been away while all this transpired) she offered me 50% off my next service and of course implied that the haircut I never received but has payed for would be given at no additional charge. She said to please email back or call to book my appointment....I emailed immediately as I was very anxious to actually get my hair cut!!!! A week went by and I heard nothing. Not an email reply or call. So I call the salon and ask to schedule an appointment. I briefly explained the situation but the woman on the phone couldn't seem to find any notes or info. She informed me my stylist would not be available for two weeks. I took the earliest appointment I could get. That was today, five weeks later. Upon paying today I was charged (again) full price for the cut . I mentioned to my stylist that I had been offered 50 percent off my next service and she took that off the toning I had done, still charging me for the cut. I opted to just pay and leave( typically if I am displeased with a place I just dont return) but then decided to ask to talk to the owner. She came out...we discussed the whole situation ( I was totally mortified that after all this there wouldn't be a single notation of file) and I did indeed receive the haircut "free". I payed full price for the Toning and left. Such a frustrating experience that such a talented group of folks ( I have zero issues with the quality of actual work!) are so disorganized and impersonal. read more

Lenore is a miracle worker! The other day I got an absolutely terrible haircut at one of the cheap-o places. I live close to Creative Colors & Cuts, so I called them to see if they could fix it. Amazingly, they had an opening the same day. Lenore managed to work magic to fix my hair, and it looks gorgeous! I was worried it was going to be really short but she managed to keep the shape that I wanted and it's just a bit shorter in the back than usual but I love it. She even suggested a side part to help hide my too-short bangs and it looks great. I will definitely go back! I am kicking myself for not trying them earlier! read more

This salon is wonderful. I have followed Stylist Tiffany D. all over New England before she settled in at this salon a few years ago. She, and the rest of the staff, are professional, clean, and most importantly...talented! I have NEVER left dissatisfied, actually, I always feel like the best version of myself as I know other women and men are too. It is important to note I drive 45-60min to make my appointments. Creative Color and Cuts is honestly the best salon I have ever been to and I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. I have been dying my hair blonde since I was fifteen and have been bouncing around salons all over NH since. I have finally found the one I'm sticking with. I go to school in Boston but am originally from the area. Creative Color and Cuts is the only salon I completely trust and it's worth the 90 minute car ride to get my roots done. Tiffany is my stylist and she is absolutely amazing with blondes. She always knows exactly what I want and I haven't had a single complaint. I wasn't going to write a review but the more I stare at my hair the more upset I am. The place was nice and clean. The girl that did my hair was so nice but she didn't give me the color we talked about. When I made the appt I said I wanted light brown. When I got there we went over the long process of turning my dark brown hair a light honey brown. I was there for 3 hours and my ending color is maybe two shades lighter than it was. It went from dark brown to chocolate brown. I saved up to get my hair done and Was so excited for the big change in color but sadly disappointed. read more

I was really unhappy with my hair from previous salons and decided to give them a try and I am never looking back! Dylan is absolutely amazing! She turned my reddish/blonde weird color to a beautiful brown with a honey colored bayalage. I have never been so happy with my hair. She matched the base color to my roots for minimal maintenance.
