With everything being by appointment only & trying to go somewhere local, I chose Serendipity. A friend of mine also recommended I try it. It's basically next to impossible to get a weekend appointment because of high demand, but luckily I work 2 minutes up the road & we snagged an appointment for 6:20. My neighbor & I got the "Heel Peel" pedicure, and her daughter (she's 8) got something like a "junior pedicure" or something (not sure). They are practicing COVID safety very well. You either call or text when you arrive to be let in. You pay ahead, as well. The room we were brought to had plexiglass between each chair. The sanitizing products they use were on deck & ready to use between each customer. We were the only 3 in the room, so it worked out anyway. We each had our own technician; they were all nice & fun to chat with. There wasn't anywhere to hang our coats or place our stuff, but it was out of the way (we set things on the floor beside us). The only part that I would say I disliked was the little time for the nail polish to dry. My toes were finished 2nd to last & they had only been drying for about 8 minutes. They said it would only need about 10 minutes, but being someone who paints their nails on a regular basis, I wanted to give at least 15. My neighbor's toes were done last & hers had only been drying for about 5 minutes. The spa was approaching closing time, which understandably we didn't want to be in their way, but I really don't think mine or my neighbor's nails were dry yet. We didn't bring sandals or flip flops because it had just snowed & frankly, I didn't think to bring any. One of the technicians came in to "check" the dryness, said we should be all set & returned to closing up. So we put our socks & shoes back on. I got home & my nails were all ruined. It was a big time bummer. My feet & heels were super soft & felt great, though! I would love to come back. I'll make an appointment with my mom & maybe try one of the other services they have. The environment inside is really eclectic & cozy.

During my one hour reflexology, Veronica gave me the option of also including my hands and ears. I took her up on that and left feeling amazing! It's the only time I had reflexology and left feeling like I had a deep tissue massage. The foot peel was equally wonderful. I thought it may have me taking most of the 30 minutes soaking my feet but it didn't to my delight. Everything was done while on the massage table. The treatment made my feet feel as soft as I guess they were the day I was born. I'll be going back soon for a warm bamboo massage and warm stone facial. I can't wait! I highly recommend this spa!

I've found most massage therapists don't use the stones much during treatments but Stephanie had a perfect balance during my massage. The hot stones felt great as I went on a day where it was in the single digits outside. I'm not very familiar with Concord but her location was easy to find. She was waiting to greet me right when I arrived. Stephanie has a very warm and inviting personality. She's very knowledgeable and gave me some tips for my problem areas. I love the way the massage room was decorated, very Zen! The crystals and rocks she had placed around the room was a nice touch. I wish she was in Manchester but she's well worth the drive to Concord. I'll be returning to try the massage cupping and "muscle meltdown" she offers. Not only did the manicurist not set the nail polish long enough , she used a bottle of polish that was essentially empty, scraping the sides to finish the color. The second massage was a 60-minute session with a different therapist, but it started nine minutes late and ended five minutes early, which means I only received a 46-minute massage. Although both massages were great, I did not tip either therapist because I did not receive the full-time that I paid for. I noticed that several people on Google reviews have also experienced similar issues, and I believe it's a problem that needs to be addressed.
