During my first massage, the therapist ended the session 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time even though it was supposed to be a 90-minute session. The second massage was a 60-minute session with a different therapist, but it started nine minutes late and ended five minutes early, which means I only received a 46-minute massage. Although both massages were great, I did not tip either therapist because I did not receive the full-time that I paid for. I noticed that several people on Google reviews have also experienced similar issues, and I believe it's a problem that needs to be addressed. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience with Concord's Elements message. I called to make an appointmen, while on the phone I got disconnected before I could make the appointment. I had asked for a certain time and the phone disconnected. Unable to get cell service I assumed I would try another day. I was called back at the time I asked and told I was being charged. I hadn't even given my name. They said I was on file they looked it up with the phone number and charge me. The appointment was NEVER processed, yet they charged me. I will not be back. This business is a fraud. After trying to cancel before Covid happening they continue to bill me after the fact. Now they refuse to give me my money which is right around $1200 worth of massages. The owner does not even want to sit there and cooperate to try to work out some type of deal just keeps telling me that they cannot give me a refund of any kind. The therapist are good and do take time to work on your issues. But the owner is a complete and total waste of space. read more

It's very noisy and you can hear therapist talking to clients while you try to have a relaxing massage. My last time there they started almost 15 minutes late.I gave them many chances but there are much better places to get a massage in this area. read more

This was the most disappointing experience in all my years of having massages. My masseuse was about 70 years old, no strength at all shaking when I asked for more pressure. I came in expecting a nice stress relief massage it was like speedy Gonzalez with no pressure. I had so much oil on me that I felt like a stripper. But the biggest complaint, they had on yelp a $69 massage if you checked in. They refused to honor it. This is bad on management not staying on top of their store. Very disappointing. I left with more stress then when I came in. The whole experience sucked. I really needed the help!! read more

Can you say bait and switch? Great service for first massage to lure you in. High pressure sales tactics to get you to join. Promise the moon , stars , and sky. Our couples massages ( once we had joined) was moved to separate rooms because of a leak in the couples room. There is normally an up charge for the couples room. We didn't get that service and requested the up charge to be removed from our bill. No dice. They wanted to give us an enhancement next time, some of their sickly smelling aroma therapy or hot stone massage that none of their therapists know how to use properly risking burns to the client. There was another patron canceling his membership at the same time as us, he booked online and there was no record of his reservation. I see Elements going the way of massage envy. A huge class action lawsuit is on the horizon. read more

Recently my doctor recommended a massage to help relieve some crazy knots in my shoulders. I got on google and started searching for local massage places that could fit me in ASAP because I'm leaving on a trip in a week and will be gone for 12 days. Elements Massage fit the bill, I went on to their website, created an account and booked an appointment. It was really easy and user friendly. My appointment was for tomorrow so I called today to give them more details about my need and they didn't even have my appointment in their system. She said it's because I'm a new customer and they needed more information- I checked both of my voice mail boxes, texts and emails; they never attempted to contact me. I will not be giving them my business! I walked in to buy a gift card for my mother's birthday, during the gift card sale. While I was standing there I overheard a male worker bad mouthing a customer who had just recently left after getting a massage. I later found out that the "gentleman" bad mouthing the customer was the MANAGER. I am just glad I overheard that before becoming a paying customer, giving them time to bad mouth me, while they take my money. What terrible customer service. absolutely terrible. the manager of the studio was EXTREMELY unprofessional as well as the front desk employee. The studio was dirty, my therapist did NOT listen to me at all and it was the MANAGER of the studio. I have been getting massages for years and I've seen a lot of bad practice; but this HAS to be in the top 2. Very unhappy with my services and when I called to inform them all they did was apologize, NOTHING was done or said to make it right. I assume it's because the manager did my service, so I hate to even think about how the employees are treated. I will never recommend this facility to anyone. Horrible. read more

Have been here before but was disappointed at my latest visit. Massage was not as comprehensive as it had been in the past. They used to massage feet and legs. Did not address those areas at all at this visit. What annoyed me the most was that I booked a couples massage for my wife and I and told them if they didn't have same room, it would be ok for us to be in separate rooms. They did accommodate us together by putting us in adjoining rooms that had a door (which they opened) between. I was surprised that we were charged an extra $20 for this! The one hour massage was already pricey at $119 per person so adding another $20 on top of that was pretty annoying. I don't plan to go back. Also annoys me that they really push the monthly membership which is supposed to save you money if you get frequent massages. Elements is too pricey for what you get. read more

I know franchises get bad raps some times, but I have been so pleased with my visits to Elements, I thought it deserved a review! It always been clean, comfortable, staff is attentive and friendly. The theropists have all been professional and ask what specific things I need worked on. The extra bonus to me is that I can always get an appointment with little notice. Prices are fair too. Many types of massage style available, find a therapist you are compatible with and the place is great. Yali is amazing! The rooms are always clean the reception is professional. I received a gift card and wanted to join. If you are clear about what your expectations and state your needs most will listen and respond. Not everyone needs back work for example you can say I have arthritis and need work only extremities . I tip well and hope for someone to put in effort if I go for a massage plus paying monthly plus I purchase lots of gift cards. I love how Yali incorporates stretching in her style. She understands the effects of stress on the body. Liza was helpful about my arthritis and made many good recommendations. Every therapist is good there some are stronger than others but you will always leave feeling better than when you arrived. So the light pressure light effort is consistent there and as a paying monthly member should be addressed over all I stopped because I can not Any afford it any way I have a friend that does this for a living I see her now. I went to Elements because I had a gift card, but didn't know anything about them. I couldn't book an appointment online - maybe due to the gift card? But I called and got one. The two women at the front desk were great - very welcoming and helpful. I had my massage with Tracy. I asked for someone who would do a gentle and relaxing message and Tracy was perfect! I walked in with quite a bit of neck and shoulder pain and I felt worlds better after an hour with her. I'm not ready to sign up for a membership but would definitely go back again, particularly for another massage with Tracy. read more

If you want lots of pressure to tip people and to buy a package of massages, this is the place to go!!! I went with a coupon and there are signs everywhere reminding you to add a hefty gratuity. Then, they pressure you to buy a package deal where the massage you just got will be cheaper. The massage, itself, was good, but you're in these little rooms which seem to be separated from others by walls made of tissue paper so you can hear everyone else getting a massage. read more

I had a great experience at Elements. Sure - it's a massage specific spa the size of a frozen yogurt shop, so there is no grand entrance or robes-only sitting area, they offer paper cups of water and you can year the traffic outside (if you try) over the white noise machines and music, but the introductory offer of a discounted massage was an amazing deal. I scheduled a massage online late Monday night for Tuesday, was put on a "waiting list" and was contacted on Tuesday by the (kind and professional) receptionist who told me that there was no one available at that time, and he scheduled me for Wednesday. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and given forms to fill out - pretty standard. While I was working on them, a woman came in late for a massage she had scheduled and was a little flustered and disappointed that she missed her appointment. The receptionist politely and quickly rescheduled her for later in the day with no questions asked. As with any business there are upsell opportunities all over - a monthly membership, or upgrades on individual massages with aromatherapy oils, etc. There are signs all over for these services, but each was only mentioned to me once by my masseuse (Tayla, you're AWESOME!) no hard sell. I'm 2 days out from my massage and I still feel the effects. Tayla focused on what I asked for, checked in with me during the massage, and showed me some stretches to do to relieve some residual tension and to prevent injury. While I did go because of the introductory offer (and I had a gift card...) I will be going back without any special offers because of my positive experience. Two of my co-workers have regular massages at Elements, so when I saw a deal on two massages, I jumped. I won't be going back. First, you have to request a massage, which is not confirmed until they send you an email letting you know it's confirmed. In my case, it was declined. When I contacted them to ask why, I was told it was because it wasn't pre-paid. So I gave them the info on the two-massage deal I had purchased, and they loaded that in their system, so I was able to book the massage. Really an inconvenient system for booking online that only works if you're a regular who has paid ahead. When I arrived, I had to sit for quite a few minutes in the waiting room. The therapist was a very nice woman, but not very good. Just didn't use much pressure, didn't get any knots out. When I checked out, she recommended I come back in two weeks due to the severity of my knots. I went a second time because I had purchased two massages, but this time I made a point to book with the person that one of my coworkers uses. This was a bit better, but still a too-long wait in the waiting room, and the therapist was yanking on my arms and fingers very abruptly, to the point that one of my hands hurt for a couple of days. This therapist ALSO recommended that I come back in two weeks, so I guess that's the party line. When I told my coworkers that I wasn't impressed, they admitted that they aren't really impressed either, and they only go there because it's cheap if you purchase the 'wellness program'. Well, the place I had been going before I tried Elements (and to which I have happily returned) has a full price rate that is only a couple of dollars more than Elements' 'wellness program' rate. All in all, I can't recommend Elements massage to anyone, and I will not return. Two tries was enough. read more

My gf just got back from a massage to tell me that the front desk receptionist was texting the whole time and the girl that did the massage was burping and giving her medical advise.
