What a lovely salon - so beautiful and super clean! Very impressive…read more I booked a pedicure online with Cindy and it was the best pedicure that I've had in a long time. She took her time with attention to all details (polish removal, cuticle trimming, filing, scrubbing) and she gave me a great leg/foot massage! She took her time with the polish application and it looks beautiful! Cindy was also very polite and smiley which is an added bonus!

I have been to this salon dozens of times and always felt satisfied leaving. Yesterday, I went in…read morefor a Classic Shellac Pedicure and I unfortunately had to walk out. Vivian was my technician, and I was not impressed. She was digging into the sides of each of my toes and all were left to bleed. One of my toes on my left foot was bleeding so much she tried to hide it from me and preemptively placed my foot back into the water. Once onto my right foot she nicked my skin so badly I spoke up. At that point looking at the state of my toe nails I did not want to continue forward with the service. Putting any gel near all the open wounds felt unsafe to me. There should be no reason you are left bleeding following a nail appointment - no matter what. I am still experiencing pain and swelling around the skin she has cut off. It is one thing to clean up cuticles, skin should not be cut. So disappointed, I loved coming here but unfortunately I will have to stop. I wanted to share my experience as a warning, please be hesitant WHO you are booking a pedicure with!

The room was calming and comfortable. It smelled wonderful and the heated table was a lovely surprise. I initially went for the "Express Skin Treatment" but when my 45 minutes was up, there was no way I was getting off that table! Jamie graciously and easily continued my treatment (haha, awesome) into what is called the "Customized Skin Treatment.' Heaven the whole time...I'm still sighing from it. Before I left, I purchased some of the products she used from a line called "Dermalogica" and have been using them every since I left. My skin continues to feel silky and healthy. Now in her own space at Alainn, she's created such a lovely, warm and welcoming place to come and be pampered. I always get there early and relax for a few minutes in the waiting area with a cup tea. Her services are reasonably priced and she always goes above and beyond to make it well worth the cost. She's thorough and informative and clearly has a vested interest in her clients' overall well-being beyond just the work that she does. She has helped me learn how to better care for my own skin and is always willing to give tips and tricks so even if you can't go regularly you can take away the tools to pamper your skin at home! I live in LA and wait for months to have the chance to come home, visit my family, and go see Meghan! And it's always well worth the wait!!

But my moustache was beginning to look like Fu Man Chu, so I realized that I really needed to get it waxed. She did my brows and got rid of a couple of growths that just spontaneously like to sprout on my face (I could never be a man). I've only gotten my moustache waxed about 4 times in my lifetime and can't say it's fun, but I will credit Meghan with doing everything possible to stem the pain. Meghan is cordial, efficient, has a sense of humor, and she is a perfectionist. My lip broke out afterwards, but, apparently, this is common. The bumps did go away within a week or so. I do feel cleaner, and it actually enhanced my features, giving me a smooth look. I rarely wear makeup but my lipstick did look better. I'll be going back routinely.
