The fruit tea thankfully was not as bad but you can tell it's mostly artificial flavoring. Another 85 cents for a popping topping. So after tip it was like 17$ for two sad drinks. I want more high quality places to pop up in this area because this just isn't it. If you have ever tried good quality milk teas in Carrollton, frisco and Plano, you know spots like these just can't even compare.

We got to meet Kinsley, the owner's daughter and who the restaurant is named after. Their mission is to support people who have Down syndrome and they hire them to work at the restaurant. The location is small, but they do have a couple of tables to sit and eat your food. After looking at the extensive menu, we decided to share the peach cobbler funnel cake, a popular item there. The funnel cake is large, and the ice cream scoop was a generous portion as well. In short, it was so good. Man, I'm so glad we did. I'll admit that I'm usually skeptical of specialty dessert shops because they can be expensive. I love supporting local businesses, but many places I've tried in the past didn't quite live up to the price. This experience was completely different. My husband and I ordered a scoop of the salted caramel ice cream, and it was absolutely incredible. It was so good that we immediately went back for a second scoop!
