The good- friendly staff who let us sample the toppings before purchasing and kindly explained the menu, Sadly, I am tired of places opening up boba tea shops just to do it and make a buck. The market is over saturated as is. The crème brûlée milk tea was really bad- the pudding tasted like jelly cardboard. And the "black pearls" tapioca tasted not fresh and like it was just defrosted. 85 cents for something that should come with the drink. The fruit tea thankfully was not as bad but you can tell it's mostly artificial flavoring. Another 85 cents for a popping topping. So after tip it was like 17$ for two sad drinks. I want more high quality places to pop up in this area because this just isn't it. If you have ever tried good quality milk teas in Carrollton, frisco and Plano, you know spots like these just can't even compare. read more

Found myself in Funkytown with a hankering for some boba, specifically a taro milk tea. A quick search on Yelp brought me to Presotea and (per usual) my fellow Yelpers were right about this place. The interior was very clean and cute. You can order at the kiosks or with staff. I ordered with one of the friendly humans working there and got talked into adding strawberry puree to my tea. Best. Decision. Ever! So, so, so very good and surprisingly not overly sweet. I was actually about to order another round but then a big group of teenagers came in so I took that as a sign head out instead of overindulging on boba. I will be back! This was so delicious! Anytime I go to a new boba spot I always try the taro and pudding as a baseline. And I brought my friends the strawberry fruit tea and they loved it. Wanted to try somewhere on this trip that wasn't a popular franchise that we already had in Seattle so checked out Presotea. This place had an overwhelming extensive menu, like just when though you've reach the end, you realized that it's only the end of one section, you can keep scrolling down to other categories which is great for somebody who likes variety! Pretty good place to get some bubble tea in Ft. Worth! I like that they have self check out kiosks so you can get your drink exactly how you like it with any and all customizations that could ever have. Came here for the grand opening, they had a bogo promotional. We got the kumquat and brown sugar crème brûlée. You order and pay at the kiosks then they call your name and number. The cup is larger but their add ons are a little pricier, depending on your toppings your boba cup can be $7-8. I don't know is it how they change the manager or the staffs, but the drinks are getting worse, less toppings. When I order less sugar for my drinks, it tastes like zero-sugar, just ice and tea.
