ORDER - Matcha Milk Cap Basically like any other Kung Fu Tea franchise store, though I will say my first experience with KFT was pretty poor, especially with the Matcha since then it tasted like clay. HERE though, it was better and more evenly incorporated and mixed. Boba was pretty average. VIBES I came around lunch time and it was pretty empty which would be pretty good for studying. There's a little area to take pictures underneath an arch. There are also plenty of tables to sit and study or enjoy boba with a group of friends. Clean overall as well and nicely lit with window lighting and some overhead lighting as well. SERVICE Service was great! The boba tea shop is small but inviting. The cashier was helpful with recommendations. I ended up with the limited cocoa milk cap with boba. I have noticed the prices for the Kung fu tea locations have gone up while the medium and large has decreased. I tasted some of the cocoa, however it mainly tasted like a standard milk tea. The cocoa milk tea was delicious, balanced with sugar, milk and cocoa. The ice ratio was good which I appreciate. It would be better if you were able to customize sugar and ice levels. They also sell macaroons, I got the Italian creme which was delicious. Since the boba tea is pricey, I'll be here every once in awhile. read more

Me and a friend came here to celebrate my birthday and both of us are boba lovers and we drove past Kung Fu Tea. I ordered the Taro Tea and my friend ordered the Thai tea. My boba wasn't good. The taro tasted more bitter than sweet as i expected. My friend said her Thai boba was good. It cost about $12 for both of the drinks which was pricier than it normally is at other Boba shops. AVOID THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION, Let me save you the money & trip and advise you to go to Feng Cha which is a few minutes down the street, wayyyy better service and better drinks. We ordered two drinks, their special oreo one and a taro milk tea...both of which tasted very diluted and watered down. To keep it short, the main reason for this 1 star rating is the fact that when we asked for one of the drinks to be remade we were denied that option. We were told the only thing they could do is add sugar...no refund, no remake, this is HORRIBLE service. You can't fix a messed up drink with sugar. Sure enough since we had no choice, we tried it with extra sugar and it did nothing to make it taste like what you pay for. We trashed it then & there. The Taro was pale, not even purple...We took ourselves to Feng Cha and ordered other drinks there. We also emailed corporate regarding this incident at this location. Kung Fu tea in the Carrolton location/ Korea town was wayyyy better than this location, I'm not saying this is every location but don't waste your energy going to this location. read more

This place is so cute. I was trying to decide where I should go between this place and another place and I decided to take a chance on this one. The only thing that I think that could be changed is maybe having more offers considering that there are a lot of students around and we're always looking for ways to save. There are beat up board games people can play and lounge area where customers can hang out. The staff is nice. The drinks are fine. The drinks are about the same compared to any other boba place. But the PRICE. It's the most expensive boba drink I've ever paid for. I ordered a medium mango slush for $4.50 with boba which is an additional $.50 for a total of $5. Affordable yes, but the drink is half the size compared to a regular large drink at another boba place. But I love this franchise. It's gotten so big from when I first started going to the one in Richardson/ Dallas, Carrollton. I have been waiting for a decent tapioca place to open up in Fort Worth for the longest time, and it's finally here! I honestly don't know why I continue to come here, aside from it being one of the only boba shops in Fort Worth. No coffee (I believe they only have it at some locations but they told me "we aren't a coffee shop, kung fu yea doesn't use coffee products" even though I had one yesterday in Dallas). No "menu substitutions" (they told me it's against corporate policy to put brown sugar boba in any drink besides "milk strike", even though any of the dozens of locations I've been to have no issues). The boba is always undercooked and hard/chalky, order mistakes are common, and the staff is REALLY rude. No "thank you", no comments at all even when bringing your drink out the the pick up area, they always act like it's a bother to take an order or make something. The one thing I will say about this location is the effort they put in to stay safe during the pandemic is HUGE. Plastic sheets and social distance measures protect the customers/staff. Do yourself a favor and go to Feng Cha, it's an extra 10 minute drive away from here but you won't be greeted with disdain and your drinks will be good. read more

I love KFT, I get milk tea regularly about 2-3 times a week. But this location make me want to stop going to KFT. I order my drinks, and it's tasted like they forgot to put the right amount of sugar in it. actually its taste like 30% sugar. I ordered a Jasmine Milk Green Tea with Boba. This is something I have ordered before and I am familiar with the taste. I noticed that my drink tasted like pure milk and I asked for a remake. The manager had a hard time even wanting to make it and stated to me that it is supposed to taste like milk and that it was made right. I explained to her that I have had this drink at other locations before and it doesn't taste like that so if she cannot make my drink like I ordered I want my refund.
