I like this place. The staff is nice. They speak Spanish if that's helpful to you. I run in sometimes to grab a fruit cup - you can choose between a few fruits and they have a sm/Med/large size. The fruit tray I ordered was $45 and will feed 25. Seemed like a great deal to me and comes with tajin and chamoy (neither which I care for but others might). Except some tajin around the rim of a spicy margarita which I do like so you can use the extra for that! You can't get the spicy margarita @ Kokito's though. I've also had their Mexican shrimp cocktail which was good. Costs around $10 and is filled with a lot of shrimp. Definitely recommend checking them out! read more

I had good experience here! Been here twice and the stuff is always nice! If you like fruits and Mexican chile the this place is for you! Will make you gain couple pounds though if you buy any of their soda stuff lol. My husband likes their detox smoothie! One problem I have w them is that the people in not very helpful! I love the freshness of the fruit and the homemade thick cream that they top my Strawberry's with! How have I driven by Kokitos for months without stopping by? Oh yeah, because I'm always on the go and don't have time to drop by. Well, since life has all the way stopped down with the pandemic, I have nothing but time on my hands. Much to my surprise, Kokitos was open for me to finally drop in. I ordered a mango kokiloco (mango smoothie) and elote in a cup. My mango kokiloco was all the way with chamoy and tajin. Yummylicious. While the kokiloco wasn't my favorite, it was pretty tasty. The star here was the elote. All of the flavors came together nicely and the Valentina sauce, when mixed in, just set it off. It was a much anticipated craving that was finally satisfied. My Mangonada looked nothing like any of the others that were posted. Obviously a disappointment when I actually got mine. It was pre-made and ROCK SOLID FROZEN in the cup it came in. (See pic) It was NOT FRESHLY MADE. I look over the counter and the WORKERS WERE RUNNING IT UNDER HOT WATER in efforts to unfreeze it... It didn't help. I got it frozen and could not eat it. This little spot that my yelp buddy frequents is a gem. When you get there you know that you have picked a cool spot. There is fruit every where. We have been to this place twice. The price is super cheap for what you get. We ordered smoothies and their is no limit on the types of you can add. I am greedy so I put almost everything it. I think the drink couldn't have been more than 5 bucks. Then there fruit salad has the same option. You pick your fruit, which by the way is laid out in front of you in a case. No, just no. While everything looks very clean and visually appealing when you enter this little shop, there is hardly any customization of your items - like which fruit you want in your yogurt. The prepared items like the yogurt are sitting in the fridge all day and tasted sour and just strange. Not fresh at all. The packaging is awkward. Their container cups are too small for spoons. We came here on vacation, so I cannot compare this to other places in all of Fort Worth/Dallas. In the end our family and the kids loved this place. We came here repeatedly over a 1 week or so vacation. Its primarily a dessert and drinks place. The drinks are freshly made, large and not necessarily cheap but all in all tasty. I would recommend coming here if you are in the area. We were staying at a local hotel, and between this place and the nearby taco truck, we got a lot of requests from our kids to come back. When I'm really craving an elote or a mangonada, I go here since its the closest place to me. In their in a cup, they use yellow corn instead of white (which I don't mind at all :) ). But compared to other elote places I had in the rio grande valley and El Limon in cleburne, kokitos just seemed a little lacking. In other places, when they prepare your drink (e.g rusa), they prepare it for you and also give your can/bottle and what lefts of it, along with your rusa. . At kokitos, they don't give you the can/bottle, but rather use the same can to make another person's drink. If you'd like a can of the soda they used to make your drink, you would have to pay an extra for the can lol The lines have been long the times I were and since there's only only 3 tables seating is very limited. It still hits the spot though, for the most part! read more

All kinds of fruit and candy and straws and umbrellas sticking out of the top of your cup. It's overkill, but it does look cool, I guess? I had the strawberries and cream and it wasn't good. The cream was way to sugary- it tasted like straight evaporated milk from the can- same consistency too. The mangonada with chamoy was delicious- I ended up sharing that with the hubby and it was enough for 2. The pineapple aqua was too sweet. The elotes was all mayo- ew. I have been a customer of this place for the last 3 years. Today, I went in for an elote (whole) and told the lady behind the counter it was to-go. When my elote was ready, it was in to go container that was missing the top. I explained to the lady behind the counter that I asked for it to-go, if she could put it in a to-go container. She explained to me that ALL to-go containers had been cut in half by the owner/manager in an attempt to reduce cost. All she could offer me at the time was plastic wrap or wax paper. I explained to her that it made no sense to wrap the corn in plastic wrap or wax paper as the mayonnaise, cheese and hot sauce would stick to them and that would defeat the purpose of the corn. I explained to her that I wasn't upset at her and I knew she was only doing her job. I asked if I could have the contact number to the manager/owner so I could express my concerns. Next thing I know, I am handed a phone with the owner/manager on the line. I explained to him what I had just explained to the lady behind the counter. He reiterated that he had indeed cut ALL the to-go containers in half in order to cut down expenses. He went on to explain that each container was 85 cents and that he would be losing too much money if he gave out full containers. I explained that I was taking my order to-go and that, while I understood his cost concerns, not all customers asked for to go containers. I told him the price should reflect the cost of the container-- at $4 a corn, I think I should at least get the other half of the container at no additional cost. He went on to say that the containers were a new thing in the store. I told him that I had been coming to the store for almost 3 years and every time I had previously asked for a corn to-go it was in a to-go container. He then stated that if I wanted a to-go container I would have to pay 45 cents. At this point, I thanked for taking my call as I knew my concerns were falling on deaf ears and explained to him I would not be returning to the store. At one point, the lady behind the counter found an intact to-go container while I was on the phone with the manager/owner. Once the call ended, I asked if I could be given the to-go container that she found. She then proceeded to ask me if the manager/owner had agreed for me to have the container. At that point, I decided it was best for me to walk away. Once again, I will not be returning to this store again. There was no reason why you could not give me a to-go container. When someone takes home food to-go they do not provide these in half-torn to-go containers wrapped in plastic wrap or wax paper. read more

I usually get the mangonada at a different location but decided to give this place a try! This place had a pineapple version so I got that. Nothing beats the original of course but the pineapple version this place had was pretty on point. The only thing was they charge you extra for little things like at el kiosko they give you the tamarind straw with the mangonada but at this place they charge. I saw that they make piña coladas which was a little pricy though for $9! And they make edible arrangement fruit things which is probably a lot cheaper than the actual brand lol.
