I go to this snowcone stand several times a week with my son. It is because their customer service…read moreis great including recognizing active and retired military as well as first responders. The manager is on scene more often than not and even allowed my son (last year when he was 4yo) to help make his own by pouring his flavors. Additionally, they have punch cards for regular customers to work toward a free snowcone after 10 purchases. I read a review posted 2 days ago by Tya M. that started out that she brings all her friends and family to this stand then suggests she was discriminated against because of race and/or disability because of 1 bad experience. I find this review HIGHLY offensive as a regular customer of this business because I know the true nature of their customer service. The young girls working in the stand are doing their job and are probably not experienced in the "working environment" to intervene between 2 grown adults who appear to be at odds. I don't know them, but they serve my family regularly without issues and this is likely their first job that they are doing their best. I can personally attest to the fact that the employees are patient and friendly even when their line is 10+ deep is the scorching sun.

Good kids working the stand and manager is a real stand up guy. Too slam this place for discrimination because of a squabble between two customers is BS to say the least. I've seen every color of the rainbow served here and served the same. Get in line and place your order. Don't sit back on a table and expect to be served. Heading there now to buy some for the family as a bit of support for their business.

I make little secret of the love that I harbor for snow cone joints, and the way that I see it,…read morethat's at least a singular pleasure derived in the face of a summer climate that regularly springs 100+ temperatures on locals in the summer. In lay terms, I'm saying it gets hot here, and the advent of said hotness surprises no one, and we all tend to queue (if we're paying attention) when the mercury spikes with the inherent idea that cooling down with flavor beats just cooling down any old day. And so, it was, that I set upon Snow Place Like Home, a likely entrant in Fort Worth's fictional Most Punny Business Name award, although it says probably something about me that I at least considered that it me be punny times two (one and a half?) if it might be No Place Like Cone instead. That said, they didn't ask me, it's run by a TCU kid, and I got the chance to gulp down a little flavor in the hardscrabble heat of Texas summer as a bonus. No complaints. There are things they do quite well here as little extras and things that I found a challenge: for folks accompanied by little ones, they top most cones with gummy bears. On the less perfect side, I'm not 100% sure that the flavors I asked for were the ones I got, and they were out of cream on this day. Perhaps that's a big sell. Either way, it's good that if you're cruising down University on a steamy summer day and you spy a trailer in the parking lot of Ol' South, there's a pretty good chance it's this one. And you'll be helping along a local enterprising college kid in the process. But I'm ready for 'em to really nail those flavors, and talk up all the mash-ups mix-ups I loved as a kid. And for that reason, I'll be back again. Because with the little one in all of us, hope abounds.

What all can you really say about a snow-cone?…read more Apparently a lot, according to my wife who had a serious...and I do mean serious...craving for snowcones during her pregnancy. For those following my reviews, you're likely noticing a pretty large trend ^. Anyways, we found ourselves going from stand to stand all over DFW looking for the best snowcones. The ice had to "have the right consistency". This small stand is typically found outside Ol' South Pancake House and it's usually run by one or two guys. They have plenty of flavor options and the right ice consistency (according to my better half). So we're rocking four stars for these guys.

There are also a lot of Mochi donuts and cookies to choose from in the glass case. Arrive early to ensure all baked goods are still available. They sell out quickly. The shop is adorably kitschy. The loud vibrant colors aren't overshadowed by the loud vibrant music. LOL! It is a cute place to hang out for a bit. It's more of an energy recharge than chill spot. The Nutella Biscoff cookie was good, not great, but good. It was surprisingly not too sweet and a nice mid day dessert. There is plenty of parking as this place is located in the Montgomery Plaza shopping center. I will come back to try some more drinks and a donut.

We were getting a drink after lunch, I got their milk tea and added black boba, my husband got a lemonade and our kid got a s'mores cookie. We originally had an issue with the cookie that we bought, but we discovered it while we were still in the store and the staff quickly addressed it and replaced the cookie. They have a shared parking lot. So you may have to walk a little ways and they are conveniently located around a lot of different stores. We would definitely stop back by when we are in the area.
