On our way home from Lake Worth and found this snow cone joint. Huge menu! So we selected our good ol'stand by... Strawberry Cheesecake w/crème and added ice cream... it wasn't Blue Bell and any Native Texas can tell in 1 bite. I wouldn't pay the extra for ice cream next time. Crème was literally "eagle brand" poured over the top. The best experience I've ever had with getting snow cones, Tatum was very helpful and respectful while getting my order together. Her accuracy and consistency of the Tiger Blood I got was second to none. I thought for a second I was Joe Exotic at GW Zoo yelling at Carol Baskins. Tatum also took time and had the gentle touch while making my SpongeBob snow cone as well. She made me feel like I was in bikini bottom while eating this snow cone. We've been coming here for a while and the quality is down this year. Our first visit, the snow cones didn't have much syrup. They added more for us and told us that there was a new person working the syrup. So when we came back today, we all requested extra syrup. They even wrote it on the bottom of the cups. After we drove away we saw that our snowcones were still white on top and when we ate them, they were barely flavored. His sugar is at nearly 400 - I don't think your employees understand how dangerous it is to give a diabetic normal syrup. It happened last week and I called the owner just so he could coach the employees to be more careful. We chose to give it another shot and this happens. Never again. I was so excited for the place to open for the 2017 season. Today I waited in line for 40 minutes in the drive through to get a snow cone. Unfortunately it seems that their success from last year has caused the owners to succumb to greed. My Cherry snowcone was so watered down that it was the light pink color of a bubblegum snowcone. Sadly this was one of the best places to get a snowcone last year but it's obvious they're trying to save money by sacrificing quality. The snowcone tasted like light pink ice with food coloring, a HUGE difference from last years Cherry which was a dark red Cherry so rich and full of flavor. I will not return this summer. I suspect many other customers will feel the same way once they realize the cones aren't as good as last year. read more
