The best snow cones in town. We love coming to the Shiver Shack for our snow cone fix. The people are always friendly and its super fast service. The snow cone Ice is the best one I have had in this area. My husband had Coconut Kiss with cream, I had Barbie (Cotton Candy) with cream, and my son had Half Tigers Blood/ Half Blueberry. So disappointed this year. They changed their pricing (expected) but if you order a small you have to pay for a top! That's the dome part of the snow cone that I never thought I'd have to ask for. The ladies working have always been very nice and helpful when not knowing what to order or answer any questions we've had. My children and I went yesterday and the owner gave us a free sample of a pickle she may be selling soon. It was a pickles marinaded in a Chile powder chamoy type of sauce. Some of the flavors are very similar to each other in that general snow cone syrup taste but it's still delicious. They have a great bogo deal on the first Tuesday of every month. This weekend was so warm and we were craving a snow cone to help us cool oof, but we are still trying not to go in a location or have to be in crowds. We were thrilled to find this place not too far from our house, and their snow cones were amazing! The best of both worlds! They even have sugar-free options! Made with Splenda. Tiger's blood is my favorite. And they are generous with the syrup. Love that there's a drive-thru. Shiver Shack is located super close to my mother in laws home so I find myself here often getting SnoCones with my 5 year old nephew Carter. There is a drive through if you want to risk eating a SnoCone in the car. I would never however recommend trying to do such a thing. I was a bit disappointed that there is no shaded seating. The seats that are available are directly in the sun. Which means its pretty much a take away SnoCone Shop. The SnoCone I had was very good but could have been a bit sweeter. I noticed they offer SnoCones that have Ice Cream mixed into them which seemed cool but then I noticed they use Blue Bell Ice Cream which I don't eat. Shiver Shack was quite average but if you want a SnoCone on the go its more than sufficient. This place isn't amazing but it isn't bad either. read more

Found this place as I was scouting around my new neighborhood & surroundings. Really happy to have found snowballs so close to home. I got the #5 which is a whopping 32 oz. The Strawberry Jubilee, one of the gourmet flavors was yummy. The ice was nice. Not soft as snow but definitely did the trick. I got the whipped cream topping & there was a nice amount on top. I'll try the cream next time. I forgot to get extra juice (which is a must for any snowball if you ask me) & the server cheerfully said "No problem" and put more on for me, no charge. Came here craving a snowcone. Ordered one for each family member. Moana and Spiderman both with gummy bears, blue coconut with cream, and a white/yellow pina colada. The young ladies that ran the place were efficient and polite, there were tons of flavors to choose from, and the snowcones were made of the really good ice with plenty of syrup. We ordered the second smallest size for three dollars and we could have easily ordered the smallest because the portion sizes were quite large. The price for add-ins was reasonable. I came back through visiting the city and the rush of nostalgia came running through and I had to come get a sno-cone and well they are amazing!! I used to go to this place before I realized I was getting ripped off. I ordered the smallest snocone and got double extra creme and it came out to over $5. On the menu, it says creme is .75, but they decided to charge me 1.50 for each extra creme. When I confronted them about it, they game me excuses about how old the menu was. That is rediculous. They are charging people double and not even saying anything. Rude and unreasonable. read more
