Worst bahama bucks I've gone too. The girl didn't even notice when I came in until I asked hello. Had an airpod in her ear all shift and did t acknowledge I asked to see how big the 8oz cup was and she rolled her eyes as if it was a lot of work for her to do. Tried this location for the first time. I had never been there before, but my boyfriend lived in Lubbuck where it all began. When we arrived, it was pretty packed with families, but we didn't have to wait super long for our order. I ordered a small Nerds rainbow. A small was plenty for me and was quite delicious. My bf ordered the shark attack. Although he did enjoy the surrounding flavor, the sour patch liquid was not that great to either of us. Cute concept though. They have several different flavor options and sizes. We prefer the baby size because it's plenty and it does come with the coned top. Won't be coming back. Very unwelcoming atmosphere. Twenty minutes after ordering , I'm informed that they are out of Tropical Creme, an ingredient that goes into most of their drinks. There were two people working but one kept disappearing to the back while customers kept waiting. A third worker showed up. Then everyone disappeared to the back. Came here for a quick sweet! I got their strawberry cheesecake flavor icee topped with gummy bears. It was really good and you get a lot. My cup was the smallest size which was maybe about $5 but they make it tall so you get your money's worth. Being lactose intolerant I grew up becoming a connoisseur of shaved ice concoctions. I feel it is safe to say I live for snow-cones or shaved ice and Bahama Buck's did not disappoint. The selection was impressive, the price was reasonable, the texture of the ice was amazing and the final product was like a day on the beach...(maybe a beach in the Bahamas even....hey Dream Big, right?), the only negative was the server/staff. No one spoke upon entering the establishment and when I explained this was my first visit and asked a few questions it felt I was doing them a disservice by interpreting their chat break. I admit I enjoyed my Iced treat a great deal, but I'm not sure I would fight the traffic and all the parking space dilemmas simply to receive such service. Fort Worth has a lot of snow cone locations to choose from (even in the winter months) so I'll have to see how I feel the next time I am in Montgomery Plaza, will it be Taste of Service? I guess we will have to wait and see. Due to poor service I reluctantly give Bahama Bucks a star rating of Three. Two for the service I received but for Taste and Selection i gave the a FOUR. But you only have to spend like 4 minutes interacting with them so it's whatever. But holy cow, the amount of options they have... I usually get either sugar cookie, birthday cake, wedding cake, banana, white coconut or bubble gum. Yummmmmy. Although anything to do with Montgomery Plaza is a bit of a pain, it was worth venturing into the yuppie zone that is West 7th. I took the suggestion of others and went with half Sugar Cookie and half Birthday Cake -- hubby went with the Rootbeer Float. We were both very pleased. They pack the snow-like fluff nice and tight and use plenty of flavoring so every bite was sugary goodness. YUM! We will be back (probably every week throughout the summer!). read more

At about 3:30pm on a Saturday, an employee thought it would be a good idea to mop with extremely strong chemicals, not only around us, but even asked us to move our feet so she could mop under our table!
