I have a very soft spot for this location. When I was living in Fort Worth (from 2022-2023), my boyfriend at the time and I had a special ritual: every Saturday, without fail, even if we were angry at each other or engaged in the silent treatment, would come to Feng Cha to grab our usual orders and then go to get pho. The workers at this location came to know us as frequent visitors and would often get our orders ready before we even reached the cash register (jasmine green tea with double lychee jelly 50% sweet for me; citrus lord with crystal boba 50% sweet for him). I wrote my med school application essays in this shop; they were here to support me when I stressed during interviews; and they told me congratulations and gave me free swag as a goodbye present when I shared that I had gotten in and needed to move away. Many happy memories were had here, and I will never forget the kindness and great service that I experienced here. The drinks are, as with every Feng Cha location, absolutely delicious as well. FC is one of the only boba shops that makes drinks that feel light and airy instead of heavy and syrupy, and for that reason they will always be my favorite! Well, this spot knows how to craft delish beverages! I had not had a good boba tea drink since.....since, I can't recall Staff was friendly and patient. I hadn't been here, so I had questions and needed time to study the menu. Following a suggestion from an employee, I got the taro milk tea with boba and my hubby got the strawberry overload drink (no additions). Both drinks exceeded my tastebuds' expectations. The taro drink was perfectly creamy and full of flavor and boba pearls. I do love lots of boba in my drinks! I had forgotten to ask that they dial down the sweetness, but surprisingly, I didn't find the drink to be too sugary. The strawberry overload was also well balanced. I would have added some lychee jelly to it, but that's just me. The inside is cute, but of course, currently only open for take-out. Patrons waiting for drinks were attempting to "social distance," but only a few, besides us were wearing masks. Some staff (not all) had on gloves, but no workers that I saw wore masks. They have this pretty flower arrangement across the back wall and two large On our recent trip hubs got the Dirty Boba and the Cookies and Cream! And of course I got the Tiramisu Treasure. Feng Cha locations always have a very cute and cozy atmosphere--that may be my favorite thing about the chain! Unfortunately they are take-out and delivery only right now (safely so); I can't wait to get back there soon. Drinks-wise, they brew flavorful teas and offer SO MANY options for foams (my favorites are the classic cheese foam and the strong matcha foam). I have been to many different boba places, both chain and local, and never found any that could compete with the selection here. They will gladly let you taste test the foam beforehand too. I do think, however, they give too little foam per cup. Or maybe I just want more of that sweetness :) Their teas have a *healthy* level of sweetness--in the sense I don't feel overwhelmed at my first sip. If you are like me and haven't explored too many different flavors, they let you try a sample to taste! Recently tried the taro and cheese ones, and cheese was a little too overpowering for me. Personally, I enjoyed the combination of taro milk tea with taro milk foam. I have a sweet tooth, but my friends also liked it too. I feel silly for saying this next part, but maybe it'll help some poor soul out. HOW DO YOU DRINK OUT OF THE CUP? Again, already acknowledged how weird this may sound. Here it goes: take that cute red stopper out and put it in the middle holder, actually tilt the cup to a good 45 degree angle, and suck. Why? After some attempts, we collectively figured out that if you don't, you get a mouthful of foam and no tea or only tea. Cool, third time's a charm! One thing I never quite figured out was how to enjoy the milk foam, tea, *AND* boba at the same time. I actually used the large straws to get the boba, so if you figure it out, DM me! I've been here a good number of times now and have made this my regular boba place. Shopping around their menu, these have been my favorite: - Purple Reign: purple grape with Viet yogurt. Such a unique flavor and I definitely think this is my favorite of all. I'm also a sucker for Viet yogurt too, so that probably does something. - Dirty Boba: I love how strong the brown sugar is. Personally, I like the sweetness, maybe with a side of water, but I could also see that it can be too much for some people. - Overwhelming Grapefruit: refreshing but still powerful flavorful. Sometimes refresher drinks have to sacrifice the intensity of the flavor for the fruit and tea, but this one gets both in one cup! This is the most beautiful and the cutest boba tea shop I've ever been to. Their drinks are delicious as well. I visited Fort Worth on a business trip and decided to stop by Feng Cha after dinner in the area. As soon as I walked in, the staff said hi and welcomed me with a big smile. He introduced me each category of drinks based on different preferences - milk tea, flavored tea, blended series, and coffee. I ordered a taro cheese milk foam with the lowest amount of sweetness and less ice. I grabbed a table under the most beautiful spot in the shop to do some work. When my drink was ready, the staff nicely brought it out to my table. I didn't see this kind of service at any other tea shop. At other places, they would just call the order name or number and we come to the counter to pick up. I thought they did that because they were slow - just me and a couple of people behind me. When the shop got more crowded, they still served the drinks to each table - how nice of them! Taro latte was very flavorful. I'm very picky when it comes to cheese foam because I've had the best ones, so I was a little skeptical to take my first sip. Once I took a first sip, I was very impressed. It couldn't beat the best one I've had, but it was pretty close, which was awesome. The foam was smooth and had the perfect balance of creaminess from the cream, sweetness from sugar, and saltiness from cream cheese. I was so happy with my drink, so I decided to order a matcha latte (with no ice) before I left, just so I could save it and have it in the next morning. Brought the family to the soft opening and am so happy we decided to stop by! We ended up staying a while and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everything is so bright and open right when you walk in. Lots of white mixed with wood, brick and flowers, so pretty! There are two "birdcage" style chairs in the front as well as a gorgeous flower wall, all perfect places to grab that perfect snapshot. The menu is simple, straightforward and easy to navigate. They serve all manner of tea, from classic brewed, iced milk or fruit tea to specialty teas, everyone is sure to find something they like here. One thing I really love is that they keep little containers of all their tea blends right by the register and encourage you to smell! Wonderful for people who are indecisive (like me!) Their Earl Grey smells unreal, totally intoxicating! I was just about to settle on an Earl Grey Milk Foam Tea, but then I saw the Rose Oolong. After 1 sniff, I was sold! The delicate, rose petal flavor was perfect and one of my favorites! They also offer crystal boba here, which is a clear type of pearl with a slightly different texture than regular boba. It's hard to explain, but after trying a little sample, I couldn't resist! I ordered a Large Iced Rose Oolong Milk Tea with the Cheese Milk Foam as well as traditional and crystal boba for my daughter and I to share. Jon G. ordered a large Strawberry Overload Fruit Tea. They have some brand new board games available to play. We enjoyed playing Operation and Battleship while we sipped on our drinks, probably stayed for about 30-45 mins. The passion fruit overload had so much flavor, and the tea tasted high quality. We decided to try the tiramisu treasure. It was a sponge cake of sorts, but the espresso flavor wasn't very strong. It was okay, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Plus, it was $6. The teas were great with flavor and size. It's probably slightly more expensive than some other boba spots that I frequent. The customer service was great, and we were offered to try the cheese foam and given many suggestions. Considering that these cakes are almost $7 apiece, I would have expected better quality. The total came out to almost $40 for three drinks and two cakes.
