The pani puri with the dip was just the appetizer I needed - for a change. The potatoes were lightly spicy, which was a plus given our cold temperatures. The choley bhatura was a winner. And since I have developed mastery eating Indian food with my hands, that made it that better. I ordered it with a spice level of hot and there was no ring around my mouth from the peppers. My scalp sweated, though, and that meant that they must have cooked the peppers instead of adding them at the end. With the masala chai, the lunch was a winner. Nothing is rushed. Food is cooked to order, so there will be a wait. There is plenty of room inside if you choose indoor dining. It looked like there is a patio for outside seating, which would be an ideal offering during warmer months. Big ups for outstanding service and high marks for even better food with flavor. Do not expect the flaky, buttery flatbread with a bit of a toasted crunch. *I DO recognize this is not traditional (I did say 'supermarket' after all), so take my opinion lightly.
