    Chicken Tikka Masala
    Nikki L.

The worst Chicken Tikka Masala I had ever eaten. It just tasted like tomato sauce. No authentic spice or even heat. I spoke to the manager about it and they didn't care at all. I regret going here so much and definitely won't be coming back.

My experience at Priyas Kitchen was amazing. They have dine in or carry out options available. I dined in. The service was amazing and all of the food was wonderful. The Indian sweet soda with fresh lemon was delicious as well. I highly recommend giving this new establishment a try!

Fantastic service and food. Staff is kind and welcoming. Best Indian food I've had, very fresh. My sister is vegan and they were able to accommodate her dietary restrictions. Clean establishment. If every restaurant was this amazing, I'd never cook again!

The hospitality is just amazing here. They really made me and my husband feel so welcomed. Deepu our waitress was amazing by her recommendations on drinks and appetizers. Shri I believe he maybe the manager came to our table and gave us recommendations on the food according to what we have tried already and also gave us a little education too on the difference between South India versus north. This was so nice and helpful. He even brought us a complimentary rice which was such a delight. Will definitely be back and tell more of my family and friends about this gem.

You have to go to Priya's Indian kitchen in Orland Park! Chef owned and operated Indian restaurant/kitchen. The food is delicious!

The food is decent but the waiting time after you ordered was too long. I clocked it, a little over 30 mins.

As you move farther away from Devon Street, the more Indian restaurants become a luxury. I had been going to a walk-up location of Samosa King on the north end of Tinley Park. I recently passed by a location that is closer to where I live. So, I stopped in one afternoon. I ordered pani puri, choley bhatura, and masala chai. The pani puri with the dip was just the appetizer I needed - for a change. The potatoes were lightly spicy, which was a plus given our cold temperatures. The choley bhatura was a winner. And since I have developed mastery eating Indian food with my hands, that made it that better. I ordered it with a spice level of hot and there was no ring around my mouth from the peppers. My scalp sweated, though, and that meant that they must have cooked the peppers instead of adding them at the end. With the masala chai, the lunch was a winner. Nothing is rushed. Food is cooked to order, so there will be a wait. There is plenty of room inside if you choose indoor dining. It looked like there is a patio for outside seating, which would be an ideal offering during warmer months. Big ups for outstanding service and high marks for even better food with flavor. I will definitely be going back since I don't have to go back into Chicago for North Side Indian food on Devon Street.

The space is inviting and comfortable, easy to settle into. Service was exceptionally friendly. We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely conversation with Sara, the owner, which added a personal and heartfelt touch to the evening. Our party of four included a vegetarian and someone with gluten-free needs, and both were accommodated effortlessly. Always a sign of a thoughtful kitchen. We started with Aloo Paneer Tikki and Papdi Chaat, both excellent. The tikki was crisp and satisfying, and the chaat had that perfect mix of textures and tangy brightness. For mains, we shared Chicken Vindaloo, shrimp curry, Chicken Biryani, Mutter Aloo, and vegetable fried rice, all accompanied by warm, soft, slightly crisp butter naan. Everything was beautifully presented, well prepared, and balanced in spice without overwhelming the palate. And then... the cocktails. My friend and I ventured into margarita territory, one spicy and one with ginger, both crafted so well that we immediately ordered a second round. No regrets. If I had one small wish, it would be for music that leans more into the cultural experience. A sitar in the background or even Bollywood scenes on the screens would add an extra layer of immersion. That said, the American music playing was tasteful and unobtrusive. If you're in the suburbs and craving good Indian food with warm hospitality, this is your place. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered a chicken curry, chicken biryani, and lamb Rogan Josh. Chicken curry tasted great, chicken biryani had good flavor except it tasted sweet which we did not like, and lamb rogan josh was a solid 4/5 (better than most). We ordered couple garlic naan and a cheese naan. Only issue I have is that complimentary rice should come with curries. This was not the case, but almost every Indian restaurant does this with the exception of a few. Good ambiance, nice wall decor. I'd order again.

Everything my family and I have ordered is flavorful, filling, and have leftovers. The staff is polite, kind, and helpful. If you want an authentic, you've stumbled upon the right venue. I understand Yelper Christopher O's comment about the high prices (especially the naan; I'd argue should be complementary). Sounds like lunch orders do include some accoutrement; maybe I'll try 'em next time. I identify with Yelper Jeremy S's passion for spice and heat! Similar to a Thai restaurant, you can customize the heat level of many dishes, although I'd argue a standard order is pretty soft on heat. The only side I am mixed about is the paratha. I've been raised on the frozen, supermarket style you toast in a pan and serve. Do not expect the flaky, buttery flatbread with a bit of a toasted crunch. *I DO recognize this is not traditional (I did say 'supermarket' after all), so take my opinion lightly. I WANT to give Shree 5 stars and would on the food alone. After three visits--and myriad excuses why our food was so slow each time--the belated turn around from order to eating is *not* a fluke. Our worst experience was Valentines Day 2025--clocked in at :75 from order to the first dish (an appetizer). I know good food takes time...but my wife suggested next time we order ahead or get takeout. Then again, I've seen patrons at peak meal times sit at the bar for :15+ past takeout delivery time.
