    Chicken Tikka Masala
    Nikki L.

The worst Chicken Tikka Masala I had ever eaten. It just tasted like tomato sauce. No authentic spice or even heat. I spoke to the manager about it and they didn't care at all. I regret going here so much and definitely won't be coming back.

My experience at Priyas Kitchen was amazing. They have dine in or carry out options available. I dined in. The service was amazing and all of the food was wonderful. The Indian sweet soda with fresh lemon was delicious as well. I highly recommend giving this new establishment a try!

Fantastic service and food. Staff is kind and welcoming. Best Indian food I've had, very fresh. My sister is vegan and they were able to accommodate her dietary restrictions. Clean establishment. If every restaurant was this amazing, I'd never cook again!

The hospitality is just amazing here. They really made me and my husband feel so welcomed. Deepu our waitress was amazing by her recommendations on drinks and appetizers. Shri I believe he maybe the manager came to our table and gave us recommendations on the food according to what we have tried already and also gave us a little education too on the difference between South India versus north. This was so nice and helpful. He even brought us a complimentary rice which was such a delight. Will definitely be back and tell more of my family and friends about this gem.

You have to go to Priya's Indian kitchen in Orland Park! Chef owned and operated Indian restaurant/kitchen. The food is delicious!

I visit family a few times a year and have struggled to find reliable places (or really any), especially for Thai and Indian. Well, this new restaurant changes all of that. The food is delicious, and very fresh. It has some unique flavor profiles but they are more complex than expected. I got the Lamb Vindaloo and it had a more rich and interesting mix of ingredients than I have found elsewhere. One good test too is if you feel good afterwards as some places use oils instead of onions for the base. This place passes on all fronts. The rice and naan were decent as well. I was told that the spice index was (2=mild, 5=medium, 7=hot). I ordered a 6 and it was pleasantly spicy/hot. I have a feeling that 7 is "white guy hot" and if you really like it spicy and can handle ethnic levels of spice, 8-10 is probably there for you if requested. The place was basically empty and other reviewers have mentioned how quiet it is. I came on Monday night and it had been raining, so I wasn't expecting much of a crowd. A few takeout drivers came in. The service was excellent and friendly and informative. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. It is very basic/functional with a little bit of decoration. Lots of seating. The south side doesn't have a lot of great buildings with character and many are more "strip mall" like, and I can appreciate that it would be a bit hard to make it look that great. Overall a definite 5 stars and I will come back again in the future.

One thing that really stood out to me was that the bathroom actually had hot water. You'd be surprised how many restaurants don't. The gentleman who took my order was friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations. Great customer service can make a good meal even better. I ordered the chicken biryani, samosas, roti, and lamb saag, and everything was flavorful and well-prepared. Then the owner's son asked us to try a dish he created called **Butter Chicken Fries**. Let me tell you... those fries were absolutely delicious! The combination of crispy fries and rich, flavorful butter chicken was a winner. I would order them again in a heartbeat. This visit was takeout, but after this experience, I'll definitely be dining in next time. Between the cleanliness, friendly service, and amazing food, Samosa King earned a return visit from me. If you're looking for authentic Indian food with a few creative twists, I highly recommend giving Samosa King a try. The space is inviting and comfortable, easy to settle into. Service was exceptionally friendly. We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely conversation with Sara, the owner, which added a personal and heartfelt touch to the evening. Our party of four included a vegetarian and someone with gluten-free needs, and both were accommodated effortlessly. Always a sign of a thoughtful kitchen. We started with Aloo Paneer Tikki and Papdi Chaat, both excellent. The tikki was crisp and satisfying, and the chaat had that perfect mix of textures and tangy brightness. For mains, we shared Chicken Vindaloo, shrimp curry, Chicken Biryani, Mutter Aloo, and vegetable fried rice, all accompanied by warm, soft, slightly crisp butter naan. Everything was beautifully presented, well prepared, and balanced in spice without overwhelming the palate. And then... the cocktails. My friend and I ventured into margarita territory, one spicy and one with ginger, both crafted so well that we immediately ordered a second round. No regrets. If I had one small wish, it would be for music that leans more into the cultural experience. A sitar in the background or even Bollywood scenes on the screens would add an extra layer of immersion. That said, the American music playing was tasteful and unobtrusive. If you're in the suburbs and craving good Indian food with warm hospitality, this is your place. We'll definitely be back.

Found out they have a buffet. It's on weekdays at lunch. The selection was pretty paltry but we thought it would be all for a great price. About half of it was meaty. The other half had things for vegetarians. It's about $20 for the buffet. We were shocked by the price. It was certainly not worth it. They were taking forever refilling water.
