By far the best bean salad I've ever had-- usually it's too sweet. (Because they are trying to cover up for the less fresh beans?). Anyway. But just as I arrived, another customer reassured me--it turns out he's been coming here for years and couldn't stop raving about the food. From the moment I stepped in, the owner's warm, genuine hospitality completely won me over. I decided to try the protein-rich salad with avocado, jicama, quinoa, kidney beans, tofu, and a mango vinaigrette. I also ordered a fresh carrot-ginger-apple juice and the kale sweet potato quesadilla with pepper jack cheese. Every single bite was unforgettable--fresh and bursting with flavor. I literally found myself closing my eyes just to savor the taste. It truly felt like a little slice of heaven. Thank you Bala for serving delicious, healthy and heavenly food!

We had gone to see Encanto at AMC Burlington and planned to grab Buffalo wings afterward. It happened to be Women's Day, and the wait at the restaurant near the theater was incredibly long. We started looking for another option and ended up at Yard House. We've been coming back ever since. What has always stood out to us is the great service, family-friendly menu, and the quality of the food. The staff has consistently been welcoming and attentive, and that's a big reason we've remained loyal customers for so long. That said, over the last few years we've noticed a significant decline in the food quality. The service is still excellent, but the food just isn't at the same level it used to be. It's disappointing because this place set such a high standard for us. Personally, I'd rather pay a little more and see the restaurant maintain both its outstanding service and the food quality that made us fall in love with it in the first place.

On to the review! party of 6 and we must have been lucky because there was a table ready and didn't even have to wait( place was busy). We were waited on right away and got our drink orders in and with in minutes we had them and we all know what we wanted already so we put our orders in and the server asked if we wanted our food together or just bring it out as it gets done. We all agreed as it gets done and before you know it fresh pipping hot food starts arriving to our table. While waiting for the food and talking with the family I was able to get a good vibe check of the ambiance of this place and I must say I good really great vibe and felt like was just a bunch of happy people eating and having greats convos with one another. :-) On to the food! Nachos - Super awesome and crunchy and fresh. not soggy at all and a huge portion for 15 bucks! Margherita pizza - Super fresh piping hot pizza with fresh tomatoes and Basil! Sriracha Buffalo Cauliflower - This is where things started to turn inconsistent. let's see we had three orders of these and pretty much all three orders looked different, tasted different and some of the bigger pieces were not cooked through. All three of us did share each others to compare tastes. Reggie's Raw Heaven Salad - I did not eat the salad but I looked at it and asked the couple how they liked it and they said it was awesome! Note to self to try next time! Sweet Potato Wedges - Hot and fresh but again with the inconsistency, some were over cooked almost burnt and some were a little under cooked but for the most part they were nice and crunchy on the outside and nice and pillowy soft on the inside. Overall - I do love this place, I can't wait to come back and see if the food can be a little more consistent.. This place has really great vibe to it and I do recommend it for a good vegan food spot!

The highlight of the meal for me was the curry chicken patty - just the right kick of spices and creamy curry. Definitely recommend this restaurant! They offer a selection of Indian street foods, sandwiches, chaats, paan, pizza, cakes, desserts, lassis, cold drinks, and Indian snacks on the shelves. They also offer live Pani Puri service. The place is order & pay at the counter and there is table seating inside. I stopped by Shiv Shakti recently for carryout. I was going order a samosa chaat, but then I saw other customers (dine-in) enjoying live Pani Puri, which a staff member was freshly preparing those bite size spicy apps in the dining area. I decided to order Pani Puri (10 for $9.99 plus tax), but instead got the ingredients to go, so I could enjoy the DIY version at home. The ingredients were packaged and bagged up, including 10 crispy fried balls (shells), curry potato filling mixture, tamarind, & spicy flavored water. When I got home, I began making my own pani puri one-by-one, filling each bite size crispy ball with the filling and adding the tamarind & flavored water and eating each savory spicy pani puri in one bite. I finished all 10 pani puris in about 10 minutes, but it was a bit messy to eat. I had some extra filling, water & tamarind left over, which I ended up using as a dip for the tortilla chips I already had on hand. I will come back again for a sandwich and a chaat.
