We compared prices with other companies and found Bills to be the best value. The day the crew came out the communication with the company was amazing. We knew each crew members names, qualifications, experience, and were given a photo of each person that entered into our home. They crew worked without taking breaks and tore out the old system and installed the new. AND They hauled it all away. I could tell by the way they were working together that they enjoyed their job. When finished all three of them came in and let us know that the job was finished. I HIGHLY recommend Bills! In fact we recommend them to our daughter and son in law and they had their system replaced a few months ago.

I had such high expectations for Bill's Heating and A/C but unfortunately ended up feeling like they were trying to rip me off. Please, if you read this review, do your research before you let them do any work. Bill's Heating and A/C are getting a pass because of their high reviews for scamming people. Maybe at some point they were ethical and that is how they gained these positive reviews but with my experience at Bill's Heating and A/C this definitely felt like a scam. I'm not stupid and did some research on specific repairs on my A/C and the one in specific that it ended up being was the fan condenser motor which with research should cost anywhere from $500-$1000 installed. I even got pricing on a OEM carrier motor from a local business. It was $390. Do the math though, say even $600 for the motor because I understand they have to make a profit. We will even say $600 for labor because research says that even on the high end that an HVAC company could charge is 300 per hour and that particular job is 90 minutes. I would have accepted $1,200 but they tried to charge us over $1,600. I asked for an itemized invoice 3 times and nobody there can provide us with one. I was told only the supervisor can and that he would but get guess what? Still have not received it. This place is very shady and it's sad that they are taking advantage of people who don't do any research. I attached their super informative estimate with just the total and no labor cost. Please don't get scammed by Bill's Heating and A/C, the great reviews are deceiving!

This was more than reasonable when it could take months with other electrical contractors. He and his crew arrived in time on the agreed date. We walked the areas for installation and appreciated his recommendations, which saved us money. They were all professional, knowledgeable and protected our home from the debris from installing the various fixtures. They vacuumed up after the areas that they worked in. They were recommended from another electrician who was booked out for 6-months. The big install was the installation of a Generac stand-by generator last October 2021. When Costco and other vendors couldn't find a stand-by generator for at least 3-4 months, Grotberg Electric was able to locate one and installed it in one day. The install was first rate and the customer service was 5-STAR. Over the past two days, we had power outages due to high winds. In both cases, the stand-by generator kicked-on as soon as the outage occurred and cut-off as soon as power was restored. The generator turned-off literally seconds before my text alert from Avista arrived to notify me that power was restored. I recommend Mike and his team at Grotberg without hesitation, and I give them my highest rating.

One was about 14 foot up and another two about 12 foot high. The rest could be reached with a step ladder. They charged $500. Seems excessive for the less than an hour and a half they spent. The quality of their work was great, they wore shoe coverings and vacuumed up their work areas. I was just dismayed by the amount they charged. (originally rated one star) They didn't simply unplug the old and plug in the new. They removed an adapter from the hard wired smoke detector and wired in a new plug. (less then 5 minutes per detector). I appreciated that they did the job right. Upgraded from one star to two, based solely on price.
