This is a hidden gem in Sonoma County. I've lived in Sonoma County for most of my life and had never heard of this winery previously. It's nestled adjacent to Hanson's Distillery. If you didn't know it was there, you'd see the massive Hanson's and move right along. We stopped here during our Sidecar Tours, tour. We were greeted with a warm welcome and that vibe lasted throughout our stay. This is truly a small, boutique winery. They only bottle 3000 cases a year. Our group sat in an enclosed side room. Our host was fabulous. She did a great job explaining the winery and wines tasted. In fact, she was the most thorough host we've ever experienced. Like I said, we live in Sonoma County and have visited several local wineries. She was the absolute best. That's not just me, but everyone in our group felt the same way. The intimate setting lead to pretty much an open forum, where questions were asked and answered. We learned so much during our brief visit. Wine is subjective, each person has their own personal taste and likes/dislikes. For me, everything we tasted was wonderful, except the Port. I'm not a Port fan, but everyone else in the room seemed to enjoy it. For this quality wine, the bottles themselves were quite inexpensive. All bottles were priced at $22/individual. $20 or less if you bought a case or more. Simple and easy.

The wine was really good. We visited 3 wineries and almost everyone on our tour purchase several bottles of wind here. Cheryl was awesome! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Small intimate winery but it was one of my favorites. Everyone from our tour purchased wine from them. I wish I would have purchase more. I'll be back!

It's a nice space with friendly and knowledgeable staff who delivered a lot of information about wine and wine tasting. The wines they served were not my favorites but who knows, they could be yours. That's just the way wine is.

Truly felt like home. The tour was great with an experience to match. Each wine characteristic was emboldened by the distinct flavor of the wine. The tour was fabulous and our host was phenomenal!

No real glitz, no real glamour, but a very nice wine selection with a nice price. A must do for wine enthusiasts or those looking for high value, hand crafted wines at a small winery with a good selection. A bottle of red, a bottle of white, naw, let's make it 2 cases.

Homewood Winery was a great experience. We came here for a tasting and the gentleman was very thorough and charismatic. He talked us through how to taste and smell the wine correctly. He gave us a great sample of each wine and gave us red and whites. He gave us a history of the winery as well. All the wines were really good. I was happy I got to take some home! I recommend coming here because these wines can't be bought anywhere, but here!

This place has been making wine Since 1983 -Old world classical French European style wine -Tour guide: Dave was informative and pretty funny -The vines have been growing since the 1960s (so the wine may be made in 2013 but it comes from a very old plant) -there is a miltary discount he wasn't sure exactly how much but estimates around 30% - wine tastings start at 10 dollars and another option at 20 dollars - Smaller than most estates but good for smaller groups

Out of the 3 wineries we visited in Sonoma, I think this was my favorite. Compared to Cline and Jacuzzi, it's like a Mom and Pop operation vs. a corporation. They only produce a few hundred cases of wine each year, compared to the thousands produced by the bigger wineries. But they believe in quality! The gentleman providing our wine tasting was jovial and loved making jokes, making the experience fun and less stuffy like you would get at most other wineries. It might have been that I was already tipsy, but I definitely enjoyed our short time at this winery!

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon; our first winery stop and it was a great one to start with. Homewood is a small winery (in terms of landmass at this location) and has a very intimate feel. The tasting room is very small, basically just a countertop fit for about four people. The staff greeted us when we walked in and told us the tasting is $5 for 6 pours and if we buy a bottle, the $5 goes towards that. There was one other couple there and two staff members, so we each had a personalized, one-on-one experience. The gentleman pouring our wine was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were very good; a few of the reds were blends. We ended up buying 6 bottles, which gave us 10% off; if you buy a case, they give 25% off. Their wines are very reasonably priced, around $22/bottle on average. There is not much to the grounds since the company gets most of their grapes from other vineyards. They do have a small plot of land growing pinot noir grapes, so at least customers get the general idea. They have a small picnic area too.

This play is very homey and smelly. Their truffles are soooo good with dessert wine. We had a few tastings. This location was a freebie too. On our way to SF we stopped here and had a nice chat with the worker there. **if you're a white wine lover, then they'll just tease you with one !

My favorite was the merlot port, which they had us taste by sipping, eating a piece of chocolate, and then sipping again.

Booked the wine tasting for four. initially we planned to do the outlook where we were given a wooden cabana to sit with our group from afar. It looks aesthetic and alluring, but when we sat inside to see how it was, it felt cold and the walls were so high that you couldn't even view the vineyard. one of those things where the idea is great, but execution not so much. Ended up on the heated terrace which was way more comfortable. Service: 2/5 our server didn't seem very knowledgeable about the wine when we asked questions and of the information that she gave us, it sounded like a list of notes from a description that the wine maker gave her. This was very disappointing. The entire interaction felt strange, and there was no eye contact. We all felt rushed because when we weren't done drinking the wine, she would always come in and tell us she's gonna pour us the next wine, then leave, just so we need to finish the current glass we had. In general, if we aren't able to finish a glass of wine fast enough, or we just don't want to it would be nice if the winery could provide more glasses for us to try the rest of the wines instead of being rushed and using the same glass for every round. Overall, this place is great if you want something very casual. It's such a fun place to sip on wine with friends. Butttt, if you are looking for a true wine experience to learn, this is not the place.

The area is also beautiful and we happened to catch the leaves changing colors. Taking a walk around the property, it wasn't over crowded and the vibe was chill. My girls and I went for my best friend's birthday and we honestly had such a wonderful time. When you call and inquire they tell you that non-members can only book on weekdays, so my girls and I made a reservation on a Friday. You pay up front for the total amount of people, which also includes tax and service tip, so when you arrive on the day of your reservation, no payment whatsoever is needed! It was $85, and with tax and service fee it came out to $111 each. When my girls and I arrived, we were greeted by a host named, Justin. She was immensely warm and inviting, basically sunshine in a person, and made us feel so welcome and comfortable!! She poured us a welcome glass of rose, and my girls and I were able to walk around the property (which was truly stunning) with our glasses. When we were seated, we were served rosemary almonds, and our server came up and introduced the history of the venue, as well as the menu, and wine. The menu was set, and it was absolutely incredible. This was the first time I felt as though this experience included an actual MEAL rather than an array of small bites or a small charcuterie platter: 1. fried olives 2. tomatoes and cucumbers with whipped feta (MY FAVORITE) 3. Prosciutto, melon and basil 4. Braised butterbeans with SCRIBE olive oil 5. House-made flatbread (so delicious) The wine was amazing, of course. We received about 4 glasses of 3 oz pours, which was enough for us. The Chardonnay was definitely my favorite. If you're ever in the Sonoma area, I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation you honestly WILL NOT REGRET IT.

We were sat promptly with a pour in hand already, and had a gorgeous view of the lemon trees and property. I cant remember our hosts name but she was super sweet, never pushy in us buying anything or liking anything. They brought out multiple blankets for us for the chilly weather and we waited about 10 minutes after being sat to get our snacks. The food was all so fresh, with lots of great flavor but also feeling healthy- we particularly loved the arancini and the bread with oil. The wines were all tasty but honestly, not as memorable as the views/staff/food- I think this winery is definitely worth a visit for those elements alone. I think the light red was probably my favorite but would be back for more food honestly :)

They start you off with complimentary bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar which was delicious! The tastings are affordable, with the Taste of Italy at $30, which is what we opted for. For the Taste of Italy, you choose 4 wines from a list of white and reds. We chose the 2024 Arneis, 2024 Gilia, 2025 Dolcetto Nouveau, and 2021 Teroldego. Buying 2 bottles of wine waives 1 tasting fee. The Dolcetto Nouveau is a chilled red, which I've never had before. Wasn't particularly a fan, but interesting to try nonetheless. We reserved our tasting but they do walk-ins, which we noticed were seated at the bar. So if you'd like your own table, I would make a reservation to be sure. The day we went, we did an indoor tasting because it was so cold, they didn't do any outdoor tastings. The outdoor courtyard is covered, and they have a large event space with some wine barrels that I presume is for wedding receptions. You can walk out to the fountain and vineyards and take pictures. We went in December so of course the vines were bare, but overall still beautiful and peaceful. There is an olive oil tasting room and various products for purchase. Overall worth a visit for the scenery!

We were warmly welcomed by our wine tasting host and educator, Vlada, as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed a splash of Sauvignon Blanc that was amazing. Everyone that works here was so friendly and welcoming. The amount of different wineries that get their fruit from Sangiacomo vineyards is impressive. Before being seated, we soaked in the stunning views of their vineyards on the property. We enjoyed a delicious spread of pastries, cheeses, and charcuterie, which we enjoyed as part of our visit. This winery is known for their exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
