a plate of salad on a table in a restaurant

Pros: Tasty pizza! Friendly, personable employees. Cons: I do prefer eating pizza on a plate instead of napkins. I didn't know that Canadian bacon pizza included pineapple (I thought those were called Hawaiian pizzas)? I'll remember that if I order another one!

I grew up in Rainier, I've had this pizza a million times. It used to be AMAZING. But the dough now tastes like gooey? There's like almost no red sauce. Like 3 inches of cheese, and the cheese was dripping in grease. It used to be my favorite pizza place of all time. But I probably won't return. We got a medium half pepperoni, and half "spicy spicy" But we received the sweet and spicy. Not a big deal but the waiter had to "check with his manager" before giving us some jalapeños. It's not that deep just grab some jalapeños. The lady who first took our order apparently doesn't know what a smile is. Or what customer service is at all, just blank faced and said "ok, ok ok" If it's that hard to work in customer service then don't. The waitress and waiter just kinda sucked. A man called and ordered a few pizzas over the phone and requested the pizzas not to be cooked yet, but when he showed up to pick them up they were already cooked... A couple at the booth next to us ordered two pizzas and only got served one so the man also had to go up and ask where his other pizza was. They were just messing up everyone's orders. Awful service. Our table wasn't cleaned prior to sitting down. This place has really went downhill. Didn't wanna write this but if anyone new is thinking of trying hometown pizza, don't. Save your money and go to Luigi's next door lol

Home Town pizza. The worst.

This used to be our go-to place for pizza. We would drive for 40-45 mins just for their pizza. It has gone so downhill. The first time the pizza was bad, we gave it a pass. Everyone has a bad night. The second time it was bad, we said eh, maybe a new cook. The third time we went it was horrible! Swore we wouldn't go back. But we did. And this time, the fourth time, it was epic bad. I mean, horrible! Greasy, burned and just......ick. Sorry but four times is two times too much. Will not be back and will definitely NOT recommend.

Hello M.

Pizza's burnt missing toppings. Called in to voice a complaint whoever got on the phone I'm not sure if it was a manager or not told me the pizza was completely fine that she looked at it herself and then hung up on me. I will never give this establishment my business again

This place has really good food. It's a comfortable, casual restaurant. My bf and I come here when we crave pizza. It's more spendy then dominos or little johns but it is worth it. The only reason I give it 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars is because our last trip there they over charged me $13.00 and realized after they charged my card. They immediately took care of it by giving me $13 in change. It wasn't a big deal. But then they brought out our pizza we realized instead of the bbq chicken pizza we ordered they gave us a chicken bacon pizza. It was still delicious and they have never had errors like this before. I will still go back!

The latter are very few in this area, hence my excitement Paper menus can be found at the counter where orders are placed. I ordered a personal pizza with my choice of 4 toppings, one trip thru the salad bar (large oval plate) & a beverage for a llttle under $20! The salad bar is basic yet sufficient: chopped iceberg lettuce, fresh spinach, sliced beets, a variety of chopped fresh veggies, shredded cheese, a good variety of dressings, croutons & other common type of crunchy toppings. Potato & pasta salads were also present, of which I enjoyed some of both. There are choices of salads made by the staff available as per the menu as well, and unlimited salad bar option for those so choosing. Upon ordering, they give you your plate for salad (if applicable), a beverage cup & a number so they can locate you to deliver your pizza. Help yourself to the beverages (photo) & salad (photos), and soon after I was seated & began eating my salad- my pizza was delivered, hot out of the oven! My pizza toppings of choice was artichokes, pineapple, fresh mushrooms & Italian sausage. I found it to be delicious & especially enjoyed the crust: thin & crispy - just the way I like it! My only complaint is about the artichoke hearts: being a fave vegetable of mine & having consumed many artichokes, I could tell that the ones they use are most likely water packed: my first bite was of a very fibrous & inedible leaf. Whereas my fave artichoke hearts are the ones packed in oil & with some vinegar & Italian herbs, understandably the water packed are less costly. Next time, I just won't order them & choose a different topping. The staff are very friendly as well. Alcohol & a small selection of desserts is also available. Overall, a good impression was made in my opinion & I plan to return.

The bartender here is really nice and you can tell she is a super nice lady. I got the supreme style of pizza here. If you ask they will even give you some free red or green peppers on your pizza. The crust was kind of hard and crispy so when you grabbed your slice of pizza it did not like bend over. If it did you would lose all the small chucks of sausage. I lost a couple small chunks of sausage too as they are on top of the cheese and roll right off. Later on I even saw an older lady losing her chunks of sausage off her pizza falling into her loo and on the floor lol. I got the small pizza. My buddy and I had 3 pieces each. I gave the other two pieces to another friend of mine. Can't wait to come back again. Oh and the $2.00 Ecliptic Stardust cans of beers were not a bad deal either.

We've been hoping a new one would open at a different location, but nothing yet. Our favorites are the beef taco and the Rocket. Since there were only 2 of us, we decided to get a dinner salad and 1 small pizza--the beef taco--this round! First off, the prices are not cheap. It was over $35 for a small pizza and small dinner salad, but the quality is great! The salad was fresh and had salami, pepperoni, tomatoes--just to name a few of the toppings. We shared this as our appetizer. The pizza was loaded with lots of freshly shredded lettuce, and as always, a healthy layer of finely shredded cheddar cheese over the whole pizza. It's a pizza that isn't great rewarmed, so we HAD to finish it all (ouch...stop twisting my arm! Haha!) Our pizza was soooo good--just like we remembered! We were the only people in the restaurant, so it was quick service. The restaurant was clean, and so were the bathrooms! While we're were there, multiple people came through the drive through, phoned in their pizza order, and picked up their orders inside the restaurant. It seemed like there is plenty of space for large parties as well. We're so happy that we will have this as an option for pizza as our daughter and her husband are building out this way as we'll be driving by more often!
