When granny's heating was acting up, we called at least eight different HVAC companies to schedule a service call. We were also asking for a ballpark price estimate based on one possible source of the trouble--just to have a sense of what we were facing, and to reassure granny about the cost. Some didn't call back, some didn't seem to want the work, and some were flat out unwilling to provide general price info over the phone.
Cassie and Michael were the most responsive of the lot. They were helpful, understanding, and readily provided a general price guesstimate after we made it super clear that we understood it might be some other problem altogether. They had the most reasonable charge for the initial diagnostic service call ($60 vs $75 or more at the time of this review), and Michael was able to schedule a visit for the very next morning. He arrived in tidy clothes, has a friendly, respectful demeanor, and is a good communicator. He even asked for a broom when he was finished so he could sweep up the wet grass clippings that got tracked in. He quickly diagnosed the likely problem, offered to let us first try a less expensive fix if we preferred (we did not), and quoted us a VERY reasonable total price that was a bit lower than the guesstimate we got over the phone, even though it was two problems, not just the one, and he had to go get the right parts before making a second trip the next day to do the actual repair.
Michael also pointed out signs of another problem that will likely be popping up sooner or later, just so we are aware, and will know what's going on when it finally shows up.
Really cannot say enough good about these nice folks. Honest and helpful with reasonable rates. You could definitely do worse than to call on them. read more
