Horrible experience the last thing you want to do is spend $ 310 a month for service not rendered …read more I searched out a storage /shop to rent with a set list of what I was needing 24 hr access Electricity access to use Remote doors and gates Climate control Lighted unit I paid the rent in full for 4 months on time I got stuck in the unit in below freezing temps 5-6 times due to electricity issues with there breakers . No emergency maintenance, no ability to contact anyone if stuck inside and your phones in vehicle ? So I was freezing and stuck inside the dark for over 3 hrs at one point in time ! No fixing the issue they said I wasn't to be running dual outlets at same time ? No where did it say that in paper work. . I strongly recommend that if you rent from Apple storage etc. you do not use it as a Buissness or professional setting one because if it's your 2nd job you work a swing or night you will be extremely hard up if trapped, or harrasssed and bothered. Also the fascinatingly lucky bathroom I was happy to have available was covered in feces multiple times does not get cleaned and attracts bums. So I don't want to down play my experience I will also speak on the storage next door 'who breeds illegal snakes in there! Nice ppl though for sure even if there was poisonous snakes left unguarded and dangerous especially if the circuit breaker blew so any chance it would have a breach in there environmental living happened and I was stuck in the feed box .....

The customer service line was so helpful - she advocated for us to get someone out to get us into our unit even though it was kind of against their rules. In February, we rented an outside storage space from the "Storage Place" on 3rd Ave. I believe they…read morealso have an office on King Ave. We needed somewhere to park our brand new (2019) Aero cargo trailer that has never been pulled further than 20 miles. We were assured we were making a good choice as there was cameras, gates, and 24/hr locks. Last night, 4/12/2019, we went to pick up the trailer. Upon arrival we noticed right away the trailer had been moved over, and there was a new camper very close to the trailer. Upon inspection, we found that there was a ball hitch in the trailer's hitch, which should not have happened as the hitch was locked. Someone had "hit" the lock to get the new ball hitch in, and broke the lock, but still couldn't get the ball hitch off so LEFT IT ATTACHED TO THE HITCH. The jack stand on the trailer was broken in two. The bottom part was thrown underneath the trailer, and some pallets had been piled under there alone with some boards to keep it from falling. The cable for the lights was pitched and pinned underneath these pallets. This was obviously not the work of a thief, as they would have just stolen the entire trailer. I requested Andy, who is supposedly the manager at the storage place, to reimburse me for a new jack ($84) and a lock ($12). He told me "there's nothing he can do and he just walked through there yesterday and it was fine", and then harped on me for not purchasing THEIR insurance. We have insurance. It has a $500 deductible which would have been conducive with theft, loss, and damage that would have been "accidental" but a broken lock and a broken jack to "move the trailer over" was the LEAST we expected, because we were told the trailer was secure. As for his cameras, he NOW tells me that "he doesn't think the place where the trailers are parked are close enough for the motion detector to set off the cameras" which is quite funny as he was reassuring when we rented the space that the cameras were there for THAT PURPOSE, to secure our (and other renter's) items. I'd be very wary before I rented any spaces at all from the Storage Place in Billings, MT.

extremely unprofessional. When we signed our paper work for our unit we told the secretary we…read morewould be back in a day or two to put our stuff in our new unit so it would temporarily be empty. When my husband and I came back we had drove from Laurel in the rain with our belongings loaded in two different vehicles thinking it would only be short term to find that they had put a lock back on our unit without contacting us first so we had no way of being able to quickly put our stuff away and there was absolutely no one for me to get ahold of in an emergency to get the lock they had put on our door off. I attempted to contacted the manager about this and he insisted the next day "he at least, tells all of their tenants that they lock their units back up if by the evening no one has put anything in them" Well we didn't have him! We had been told we could come back whenever; it was our unit. The next issue is not being allowed in to access your own belongings after 9pm. We all know how moving goes when you're working. Late nights. So this is another giant inconvenience. Needless to say we won't be storing there again.
