This is a commercial ISO standard shipping container. The same ones you see on the highway or being shipped off around the world. Not some flimsy cube or overpriced 3rd party shipper. Your dealing with shipping terminals and drivers that do this for a living. Both our pickup and drop off drivers had been top notch. Really great. Our stuff was exactly as we left it when we unloaded it. Hardly any shifting. The container we had contained 6 shipping straps. These are used to hold your goods in place. They connect to each side of the containers inner walls. They clip or snap in depending on which bracket you decide to use. There is a plywood wall that goes up separating your goods from the next load if there is room. There are all so ceiling braces that come down to stabilize your shipment. We put up a few planks of personal plywood to create shelving in one section of the truck for furniture and smaller odds and ends. You do have to call each step of the way though. That includes initial drop-off, initial pickup, final drop-off, and final pickup. That part of it could have been a bit more clear. But all the interactions along the way had been superior. The cost was realistic and fair. Prior moves (and there have been plenty over the years) have been considerably higher and far more taxing). If you have a home full of stuff spend the money and do it right. If your in an apartment and moving to the other side of town the other guys may be the way to go. We will be calling again for the return trip.

A couple of boxes of glass items were that were well packed and marked FRAGILE on the outside had broken items because heavy boxes had been stacked on top of them and caved them in. The men who we hired to unload the truck took pictures of how poorly it had been loaded. When we contacted the owner I was told that they accept no liability and that I should turn a claim into my homeowner's insurance. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
