What caught my attention in the first place was that online they had some sale prices of $79 a…read moremonth. So I snagged that on the 10x20 with climate control. However, when I arrived, I was told that oh your reservation just expired and we can't see anything that comes anywhere close to that price. So then they set me up with the unit for 111 a month. Now I had been unit shopping and had a unit across town and had ended up bailing out of that contract to come to this one because of the difference in price. So that was a pretty effective bait and switch? When I actually arrived to put my things in the storage unit, I had checked in in person I had gotten the gate code sent to me. However, there is a lock ex handle on the door of the unit. I spent over 25 minutes trying to make phone calls with movers costing $150 an hour waiting by. Apparently nobody knew even what kind of lock there was on the door. There was hard to get them to understand that there is actually a handle like you would find on any sort of door and not the slidey thing that you put your cylindrical lock into. Being unsuccessful in getting anyone's attention or any way to access my unit, I had to call U-Haul crosstown and get two, 10x10 units which each cost $139 a month. So I'm more than doubled my expense for storage and remember I'm paying $150 an hour with movers standing by and I've now got to pay them to go all the way across town and get checked in at another facility. If best box had any inclination towards his customers at all it would pay me back the expenses of getting checked in which are more than what they advertise. And really they probably owe me some money for having movers standing around for an hour and for having to last minute switch to a unit that cost twice as much because they failed to allow me access to unit I had rented.

Horrible experience the last thing you want to do is spend $ 310 a month for service not rendered …read more I searched out a storage /shop to rent with a set list of what I was needing 24 hr access Electricity access to use Remote doors and gates Climate control Lighted unit I paid the rent in full for 4 months on time I got stuck in the unit in below freezing temps 5-6 times due to electricity issues with there breakers . No emergency maintenance, no ability to contact anyone if stuck inside and your phones in vehicle ? So I was freezing and stuck inside the dark for over 3 hrs at one point in time ! No fixing the issue they said I wasn't to be running dual outlets at same time ? No where did it say that in paper work. . I strongly recommend that if you rent from Apple storage etc. you do not use it as a Buissness or professional setting one because if it's your 2nd job you work a swing or night you will be extremely hard up if trapped, or harrasssed and bothered. Also the fascinatingly lucky bathroom I was happy to have available was covered in feces multiple times does not get cleaned and attracts bums. So I don't want to down play my experience I will also speak on the storage next door 'who breeds illegal snakes in there! Nice ppl though for sure even if there was poisonous snakes left unguarded and dangerous especially if the circuit breaker blew so any chance it would have a breach in there environmental living happened and I was stuck in the feed box .....
