    Port-the-Bella pizza
    Lily Z.

I came here with a group of friends for Trivia Night, which is every Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Charm City Trivia did a great job setting it up! I came here a few years ago for trivia, and now it's much more organized. You can play with up to a group of 8 people and need to make at least two purchases at HomeSlyce to play! I ordered the 8" Port-The-Bella pizza with vegan cheese, which was the perfect size for one person. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan cheese; it was much creamier than I was expecting. It didn't have the same cheese pull as normal mozzarella but was still a great complement to the veggies on top of the pizza. I was also impressed by the restaurant's focus on sustainability. For example, the water was served in cups that looked like red solo cups but were much more durable and reusable! They also provided paper straws and reusable napkins.

I came here for a small birthday gathering. I wouldn't have thought it to be a good space for the event, but man was I wrong. GLOWS: -Various pizza sizes and the option to build-your-own and get exactly what you want. -Full service bar with flexible drink options (the bartenders really work with you) - The service was amazing! Everyone really catered to the table's needs. -The hands off system for order is really cool. - Use the QR code provided to order and pay online (there is space for all sorts of accommodations to get your order just right). The servers will drop the food off to your table. -There is also the option to order traditionally. GROWS: -I didn't enjoy the Margherita sandwich. I wasn't a fan of the pizza sauce and would have preferred a balsamic drizzle. - Wings were small and average (not crispy) - Fries were unremarkable

So here is a spot that I seldom visit but always love. The most interesting part about this place was finding it lmao. The entrance was sort or hidden. Food: Hey it's pizza right? No this isn't just pizza its HomeSlyce! So I ordered a "make your own pizza" 10 inch with mozzarella, feta cheese, pepperoni, salmon, and extra sauce. Oh and jalapeños (not actually on my pizza) Taste: The pizza was amazing, the crust was light but soft on the inside crunchy on the outside. I enjoyed everything about the pizza. The sauce the unique toppings (salmon, feta) Overall: So in conclusion, I will come here again. My order was ready so fast. So only problem I had was that one of my toppings was missing (the jalapeños) and when the toppings are $1.50 each.

The pizza was good and fresh. I think the personal pizza was more like 6 inches. Therefore, I paid $15 for pizza that wasn't even the size of a slice. So I have a lot of regret with my purchase and I still had to cook when I got home. The atmosphere is cute and the service was quick though.

The pour my beer wall was nice and easy to use. The pizza was well made and I asked for a thinner crust to which they complied and it was perfectly cooked. Would recommend.

    Jalapeño Steak Pizza; wings

Average restaurant and bar with limited options, occupying a prime location. Their pizza and wings are good, not great, but good enough to get you by when you're hungry as h*ll and do not have an option living on campus. Pictures are Jalapeno steak pizza and wings. However, it is not the best bar food or the cheapest price. Especially given that I paid full prices for everything for a takeout order when they are doing the happy hours. Like they did not even bother to tell me that the happy hours are going on and watch me spend all those extra dollars. Also, it is a bit too crowded at times.

Pretty skimpy on the spinach for my tastes.

This is our favorite pizza place in Baltimore. The classic is amazing. If you haven't tried it yet, do it! We were disappointed with our latest pizza--we paid extra to add spinach and got approximately one leaf in the entire pie. But still giving five stars because of the dozens of delicious pizzas we've eating from them over the years. Thanks homeslyce!!

Ok...as you should know by now...I LOVE PIZZA !!! Enthusiast, connoisseur...Pizza is Life!! With that being stamped, the pies @homeslycepizzabar will NOT disappoint you!! Really Dough!! At $18 bucks and some change for a 16 inch pie (pictured), this pizza was well worth it. You're eating the crust, the ingredients were fresh, the sauce wasn't overbearing, the cheese wasn't extra gooey, and the service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. I always choose the "Build your own pizza option" when ordering a pie, so toppings are going to be $1.50 each. They have other items besides pizza like wings, and calzones, with a slew of appetizers such as fried pickles (pictured). I'on even like pickles, but them jonts was hittin. With locations in D.C., Canton, Mt. Vernon, Columbia, JHU, and Federal Hill, sliding to one of these spots will be easy to get to and you'll be satisfied!! Oh....they have a bar in each spot too!!

Great Hawaiian pizza! Would highly recommend this one. Didnt like the meat lovers as much as we thought. Salad was ok quality.

The outside looks small, but looks can be deceiving. This hole in the wall is one of, if not the best pizza I've had in Baltimore near the JHU campus so far. Having just come back from a big workout for a late lunch, I was enticed by the $20 Sunday special for a 12" pizza & 6 pc wings. The cashier was friendly and inviting, and the interior has a nice rustic aesthetic. For the price, I was blown away by the crispness and tenderness of the BBQ pizza chicken, and I will 100% return here again.

Ordered pizza from here on a semi snowy day when I didn't want to step outside. Ordered delivery from grubhub. I got the meat lovers pizza and it was delicious. Don't expect the fanciest or the best pizza you ever had. This is what I call your "casual" pizza place. Sometime I like to order from local spots instead of supporting the franchises like pizzahut and dominoes. It's delicious and the pizza is oddly shaped which looks to be the places signature. The crust is thick but not super crunchy. There is a good amount of cheese and toppings. Only downside was the price. I got what was the smallest pie and it was 13.99. You can get two pizzas at a chain for that price. Would I go there again? Probably not because of the price.

I ordered a $9 pizza and soft drink plan and it is enough for one person as a lunch. The pizza is of various flavor! I order the classic home style one and I think it is fantastic Homeslyce Classic is good

I checked out Homeslyce in Charles Village on a Friday night. I've been to their Mount Vernon location and enjoyed their Thursday $5 sandwich special, and I thought I'd give them a try in their new location. The space itself is large and clean. There are many large tables which are perfect given it's proximity to Johns Hopkins Homewood and the groups of students that would presumably go there, and the bar is also large. Although I visited around 6:30pm the restaurant was only about half full, and my friend and I were quickly seated. My friend and I ordered the Baked Cheese Curds ($8.99) as the appetizer. I grew up in Wisconsin, and the curds were marketed as Wisconsin white cheddar curds. Unfortunately they didn't meet the "Wisconsin standard." However, even if I held them to a lower standard, they didn't meet that standard as well. The cheese had oozed out from all the curds, and they weren't particularly tasty. The other downside of the curds was that they were brought out only about 30 seconds before the pizza; this was nearly 20 minutes after we ordered them. For my main course I had the 1741 Reci-Pie (slyce, $13.99) and my friend had the Homeslyce Classic (slice, $13.99). Both pizzas were excellent both with regard to the basics (crust, sauce) and the choice of toppings. My friend and I each had enough to take some home. I understand that Homeslyce in Charles Village is new, so they're probably working out some kinks with the service and food. I think if they can get the timing of appetizers versus mains, they'd be a 5/5!

Not for 40 dollars delivery smh, never again, not even tape secure

I do like pepperoni and sausage but sometimes they are salty for me. Will suggested I get two slices of cheese and a drink and I said that sounds good. He also let me try the gelato and the caramel gelato was really good. I didn't get gelato this time but I will in my next visit. The pizza was crispy and thin and not salty.
