Both were excellent. For sides my wife chose a half grapefruit brûléed and I had marinated tomatoes. I remember having sugar on a half grapefruit as a kid, but bruleed? Epic! I loved the big wall in the front dining area-- half of a Cessna airplane on the wall, superimposed on a blueprint painting (see photo). Very creative. We'll be back!

So long as you get good eggs, the bacon, sausage, gravy biscuits, etc from the buffet are breakfast worthy. Else order off the menu, it'll be a good plate of food as well. Probably the tastiest thing about any breakfast in Alabama will be the Conecuh sausage - If you're not already a fan, do give it a try (just order sausage in Alabama, it'll be Conecuh!). Wherever you travel, those local specialties are worthy of your attention.
