We just ate here and had such a great experience! The food was really good, everything came out fresh and tasted amazing. The service was just as good--everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy our time. You can tell they really care about what they're doing. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

I ordered the Mini Mug Tenders & fries as well as the 1/2 order of mozzarella cheese wedges - carryout order. Everything was delicious as usual. I did realize once I got home that they didn't give me my sweet tea. Service was fast! Restaurant is always clean... read more

Great food... great service and a great happy hour!!! We were in town for a baseball tournament and we would definitely go back!

My sis-in-law had such major Mugshots cravings she convinced us to ride over to Florence just to grab some. It wound up being a fun road trip. Mugshots seem to pop up a lot in college towns. I have fond memories of visiting the location in Starkville when I was in undergrad. Their specialty is burgers but their menu has expanded since I was going regularly; you can find a lot of other bar favorites like wings, chicken sandwiches, and lots of appetizers on the menu. This location is in downtown Florence and is quite spacious. We had no trouble getting a seat for a late lunch last Saturday. It looks as you'd expect inside (college restaurant/bar vibes, lots of sports memorabilia) though it was a little dim and the floors were a little sticky. I'd already had my own lunch so I didn't order much. I asked our waitress for a sweet tea to drink; she brought me out a Diet Coke and breezed off before I could realize it. I figured it was a sign from the beyond that I didn't need the sweet tea calories and just kept mum. SIL, BIL, and husband got a split order (both mozzarella and pepperjack) of fried cheese wedges to start. I did nab one of them -- there's not an immediately obvious way to tell which is which (we later figured out it depended on shape) so I wound up with a mozz wedge though I was hoping for a pepperjack. It was decent, very hot and gooey, but veryyy oily, leaving streaks on my fingers and a sort of slippery feeling on my lips. I don't remember what SIL got for her entree but she was happy to drown everything in their comeback sauce -- that's what she was craving. BIL got some type of chicken sandwich to which he made several modifications; he was happy with it and they got his order right. My husband got a grilled cheese burger. His eyes were bigger than his stomach though it was even bigger than he anticipated. Two grilled cheese sandwiches as buns around a burger covered in a scoop of macaroni and cheese. It was a monstrosity. He said he'd wished he'd gotten a simpler burger. He said it wasn't bad, just okay, but had too much going on. I did sneak a few French fries because I can't resist. Much like the cheese wedges, these were too oily and greasy. They tasted okay but wow a few went a really long way; you could squeeze them and some oil would come out. I can't say this Mugshots was as good as my memories, but it is a different location than my first Mugshots, and my tastes have certainly changed since college. We had a nice enough time. I bet this place is a hit with the students. read more

First and foremost, our waitress, Ashley was beyond amazing! She was extremely energetic and her passion for what she's doing made our group feel welcome, and excited to order. I ordered Liz's parm-a-Gedon at her recommendation and it was incredibly amazing and met her recommendation! Loved the sports bar setting. It's clean, and I highly recommend Migshots and I hope you get Ashley as your server! read more

I am so happy Mugshots came to Florence, this city needed a quality sports bar downtown! This has easily become my favorite restaurant in the Shoals, and is basically always my first choice if I'm deciding where to get lunch or dinner. I have an allergy to red meat, so burger places are usually not an option for me. Mugshots has a turkey burger, though, and I swear it's better than most of the beef burgers I ate in years past. The servers are always super accommodating and are more than willing to customize my turkey burger to make it like any of their other burgers that normally use beef patties. The servers and bartenders here really are some of the best in the area; I've never had anything less than outstanding service in the countless times I've been. Their drink selection is great, too. I always get their Miller Lite on draft, and I swear it's colder than anywhere else. Maybe it's the frosted glasses, maybe it's my imagination, but it's ice cold every time. Make sure to stop by and support the Florence Mugshots if you're looking for a great meal, excellent service, and an amazing atmosphere! read more

Great service. Nice customer service. Fast. The food was great for my mother. The grilled chicken pasta

Restaurant was right down the street from the hotel we stayed at in downtown Florence. Food was pretty good. The only thing I would change is remove the lettuce from underneath the meal for the quesadilla burger I would prefer the lettuce on the side or in a cup. It was my first time ordering and I was unaware that's how it arrived. read more

Great service very friendly hostess and servers. The food is always delicious. Always look forward to eating there.

Best casual, great food, great prices. Also great AC, would recommend to anyone. Check out Happy Hour.

For $12.99 I got the Callie Maha fish. It was so tough on the outside, tender on the inside, I barely cut through it (I hacked at it) and it was burnt. BTW, I'm not going to send it back, because I don't want my food spit in. The beer, battered, french fries were excellent perfectly cooked. I am so disappointed in the amount of food I received for the price. Comparing to other restaurants I always take a to-go box home with me; I didn't this time; there was no food left because there is so LITTLE of it. The staff was very friendly and personable. The atmosphere was typical hipster place, loud music, TV screens everywhere and low lighting. read more

Nice experience and great service! We started with Philly Egg Rolls and they were delicious. My wife and daughter split a comeback burger and loved it. I got the patty melt, and my only problem was it wasn't much of a melt. More like a burger on sour dough. Tasted good, but it wasn't really what I ordered. read more
