A great local cafe with exceptional attention to detail. We had wonderful hand crafted cocktails at the bar prior to getting our table for dinner. Super nice staff. The atmosphere reminded me of a NYC bustling bistro where the "cool kids" hang out. Our waiter was knowledgable of the menu when describing a few entrees I had a questions about. My salad did arrive with way too much dressing for my taste, and it was quickly exchanged for a new salad with the dressing on the side. Everything was delicious. A nice place for a date, group dinner or just a time for a nice meal out. I do have to say that the noise level got pretty high on the Friday evening we were there, it was a full house. read more

I love that the staff takes their time on a drink. They are very knowledgeable and want you to have something that fits your mood. Wow! We went to Odette for dinner on Friday night. It was spectacular! We started with their foccocia bread, which was wonderful! Having read about the wonderful reviews of Odette's cheeseburger, I ordered it! It was without a doubt the best burger which I've ever eaten .. and I'm 70 years of age! Our server was wonderful. I came here for a birthday dinner and was very impressed with the food and drinks! I had the green drink cocktail and it was fantastic! I don't like cucumber, and they were willing to make the drink without. I also tried the peach cocktail and I could tell they used real peach juice which is sadly rare but makes a huge impact! The restaurant itself isn't very large, but it's very cute inside. I split the kale Caesar and rosemary focaccia with a friend and we loved both. I also got a cup of the tomato soup and it was probably the best I've ever had! Very rich though, not sure I could do a bowl. The service was the reason this isn't a 5 star review. It was dreadfully slow, and the restaurant was not busy. We arrived at 7, ordered drinks and a few apps, and he didn't come back until close to 8 and we had to ask to put in entrees at that point. Also, we had to pay a cake cutting fee just to store the cake in their fridge. Our server delivered it to our table along with small plates, but no forks, then he disappeared. I saw him on the back on his phone, so I went and asked a waitress if we could have forks. She was very kind and apologetic, and quickly remedied the situation. read more

The service was exceptional. I was greeted when I entered by multiple people. I made a reservation though it wasn't really needed. The ambiance is nice; I'm a huge fan of low-lit areas. There was a lot of light from the bar area. I asked my server, Mary, what she recommended for a sweet drink and duly went with the Swingin Sunset. It was fresh, sweet, and mixed well. There wasn't an incredible amount of ice, either. I was served a bread + (sea salt?) butter bowl, which was incredibly tasty. The muffins seemed like they were made with browned butter and a hint of caramelization. The saltiness of the butter complimented the sweetness of the bread. It makes me want to learn how to make it, haha. I asked for food recommendations; she recommended the cheeseburger + gulf fish piccata. I wanted something different from a fish and burger so she ended up recommending the Crispy Potato Gnocci, which was a great choice. It was incredibly filling. The pork belly was crispy and mixed well with the rest of the ingredients in the dish. There was a nice umami + peppery bite. The price of food + drink is a little high, but it goes with saying that the quality of the items made it worth it. I'm glad they have a seasonal menu to provide variety. Was sad to see the price of their burger went up to $18, but it's still the best burger I've ever had. My wife and I typically get it with unsalted fries and extra ketchup (which is homemade) and that seemed to fix any heartburn issues lol. Service was terrible. Drinking water was lukewarm. No salt and pepper on the table. Strangely, when I ordered coffee, the waiter added my cream and sugar himself in the back! Who does that?! We had a reservation at 5:45 pm on a Tuesday night and we arrived right on time and were promptly seated in the dining room. Casey, our server, was amazing! We started with cocktails which were delicious. There were four of us in the party and we were all from various parts of Georgia. Casey brought us a bread basket featuring homemade rosemary bread and corn muffins with whipped butter...yummy! We split two salads: the mixed greens and the strawberry salad. Two of us had the cheese burger, excellent, we especially enjoyed the thyme infused ketchup with the fries. One had the mahi mahi fresh Gulf dinner with shrimp, roasted cauliflower in a fennel sauce. She said it was great. The fourth had the steak tartar and the grilled asparagus and said it hit all the marks. For dessert, we shared a crème brûlée topped with an Apple compote. So good! We are new residents of the 7 points area and wanted to get out a experience the area as residents, not visitors like we were in the past. My wife enjoys small plates, so I knew this would be a place to try. The atmosphere is classy old school and not too bougie, something we like and enjoy. We were greeted as soon as we came in the door and seated immediately. Hudson was our server and did an awesome job of telling us what the nightly specials were. My wife had her usual white wine, and I the Old Fashioned, I'm always a bit hesitant to order an Old Fashioned out due to them sometimes being too sweet, this was perfect! Bourbon forward and nicely done. We went with the sampler platter and an order of fried oysters. It was the perfect combination, the pimento cheese spread and fried crackers were delicious, the deviled eggs were outstanding and the sourdough toast was spot on. I've seen customers come in wearing something political or discussing their religion, and I overheard Odette's servers and hosts speaking negatively about them based solely on their outfit and beliefs. We had a huge lunch before coming, so weren't very hungry and only had appetizers/small plates here. When we sat down, we noticed the table had not been cleaned as there was a lipliner stick included in my place setting. Ordered the quail, gnocchi, sourdough toast, and eggplant dip- all were ok but tasted very similar, like liquid smoke. We ended up being glad we were full when we arrived. However, the service was excellent! Our waitress (Fiorella, I believe) was extremely patient and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the food here. We are here two nights in a row. We came back the second night just to get the gnocchi again. We sat at the bar the first night and at a table the next. The servers were attentive. The first night we chose five small plates/snacks to share. We asked the server to send it out in courses, but we got it all at once. It was fine, but it felt a little like Cracker Barrel with all those plates in front of us. (This was a SMALL thing and did not detract from the deliciousness of the food.)
