College Staple - Late Night Gold…read more There's just something about a college town spot like this. After a night out, you end up at Chicago Cafe like it was meant to happen. This food is excellent and honestly one of a kind for what it is. Prices are dirt cheap, but the quality is way better than you'd expect. If you go, get the classic sweet heat dog, the meat lovers pizza with ranch, and a Pepsi Zero. That combo doesn't miss. It's the perfect place for lunch, a midnight snack, or just hanging with friends. Seating is limited, but you can usually find a spot. Overall: 5/5 this place has my heart.

Also, on Sunday nights, they do have priced pizzas, which is really awesome. They have a wide variety of at least a dozen different types of hotdog, and they are all very tasty. Not to mention, the staff is just killer cool!

I ordered a regular hamburger which came with lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, pickles, onions, mustard, and ketchup, whole mustard, and ketchup. Had it not been for pickles and onions there would've been pretty much no flavor. The tomato was all but missing. It was a very small thin slice completely covered with shredded lettuce and pickles. The burger with fries and Coke, their number one on the menu, came to $9.63 !!! Leave Jack's small burger comes with pretty much the same toppings for a couple dollars less if you're comparing just burger prices. Burger Depot drink looks to be about a 10 ounce cup, which comes with mostly ice at about 4 to 5 ounces of actual drink for $2.19 if you order it individually. Like I said... the pricing is ridiculous for the quality and the amount of food and drink you receive.

Some other chains are getting better, but I'd rather do Five Guys until someone takes the crown. This went on the company card which meant I wasn't paying, so money was no object and I enjoyed it more. I didn't go crazy as I had a long drive to Nashville Airport ahead of me. I got the patty melt which is an inside out bun, grilled, with a burger and grilled onions. I added bacon and it was delicious. It's kinda like their grilled cheese and add a burger patty, which is another brilliant move a Five Guys cashier gave me.

We had a lot of cocktails and I think I tried almost all of them at one point. I lost track of the names and which ones I liked, but I did have a few re-orders. The bar was a bit slow so you'd have to order your next drink before you were done with the one you were on. I guess that's chain drinking1 Food was typical bar food with ok appetizers (tater kegs were interesting) and meh pizza, but the lemon pepper wings may have been the best lemon pepper wings I've ever had. The flavor was bright and peppery! I'd definitely get these again.
