The experience has been totally different ever since. Every visit and every item I've tried has been consistently excellent. Culver's has one of the most diverse menus in fast food, with something for everyone. The butter burgers are fantastic--I especially love the Deluxe with grilled onions. The cod sandwich is fresh, flaky, flavorful, and not overly greasy. The butterfly shrimp is cooked perfectly, and even the sides have been consistently well prepared. Every time I visit, it seems like Jeff, the owner, practically lives at the restaurant. He genuinely cares about the business, his customers, and his team. Jeff and his staff always greet me warmly, and he's constantly recommending something new for me to try. So far, he hasn't steered me wrong. Most recently, I tried the Reuben sandwich. I would have ordered it sooner if I had paid closer attention to the menu. It was seriously one of the best Reubens I've had--the flavor was outstanding. I only wish there had been a little more meat, but considering the price point and the fact that this isn't a traditional restaurant-style sandwich, it was absolutely worth every penny. And of course, the frozen custard speaks for itself. Culver's is known for its butter burgers and custard, but I'm amazed by how well they do everything else, too.
