Delicious boba tea! My husband tried the cookies and cream and it was so tasty visually as it was to eat. I haven't had boba in forever and it was so nice to be able to have it again. Love it! So glad Florence is jumping on this Thai ice cream trend. I love and highly recommend the strawberry flavor of the rolled ice cream and the boba tea. The tapioca pearls are delicious in any of the milk teas and it's truly a fun and unique experience watching the employees make your ice cream. The atmosphere is really cool with exposed brick walls in a vintage building. Rollie's is in a perfect location! My family loves going here for dessert after eating at Ricatonis or pie factory! They have board games for any groups or families to play and this type of fun relaxed atmosphere is just what Florence needed in my opinion, instead of another bar on court street. This is the silliest concept in ice cream I have ever seen. It a cross between Japanese steak house entertainment and customized ingredients. You choose from a menu of different ingredients - banana, strawberries, etc and liquid ice cream (of questionable quality) which is then poured onto a "freezing plate" and this is where it gets silly. The employee then chops up, like someone possessed, the ingredients into the liquid ice cream as it freezes. When spread thin and frozen the mixture is "rolled" up into 4-5 pieces and put into a cup. I chose Oreos as my topping and this resulted in 2 cookies dropped onto of the rolls. Give me a break! Save your money and go somewhere else and get some good quality ice cream. Wonder why they don't just pour the mixture into a blender and whip it up? read more
