I called about it said I could return it and I did thinking it was simple mistake on someone covering the exp date and me not removing all the stickers prior to buying. The older woman who checked me out said "well it was on the sale rack" as in I should know better? I still didn't consider having a place sell jars of food that far out of date. With that statement and the tone of her voice I felt maybe the date was covered intentionally to be deceitful? I wasn't even upset about it but felt hostility from the worker for returning it.
