The location is fantastic -- offering a diner-like experience in the heart of Tuscumbia. It's a former drug store converted into a restaurant. The past is certainly not forgotten. The walls are covered with images of the past. However, the walls of the rest rooms are actually covered with real pharmacy prescriptions that were found inside. The restaurant staff is wonderful. We were given great recommendations. They also cooked the food perfectly and brought it to us with a smile. If you're in the Shoals, this is a great spot for nostalgic dining.

First off, I wanna say that if you don't order the Molcajete, I can't look at you. I just can't…read more You're not a real man --or woman-- if you can't order and eat the molcajete plate. Now, before I go any further, I should tell you that when you pay $22 for the Molcajete, it's going to be an awful lot of food...easily enough for two people--possibly six people or a small family -- but that should not keep you from ordering this amazing dish. So what's in it? You have two huge pieces of steak, two large chicken breasts, some cebollín, a handful of shrimp, a generous helping of chorizo and some nopales. If I have to translate any of that, then you might wanna go to a different restaurant or take Spanish lessons. On top of all of that, it comes with your choice of flour or corn tortillas-- I chose maiz --and a large plate of rice and beans. If you're still reading this, it means that you know what you're doing and you're unafraid. So go ahead and put the mild salsa they give to the tourists aside and order the hotter salsa... it will come in a small bowl and it will be hot and flavorful. Now, order a couple cold draft Mexican beers and get down to eating as much of this wonderful dish as you can. It's an incredible experience and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did. The waitstaff are very nice. You're welcome.

I really had some mixed thoughts on this place. It is very new, just about 2 months old. I also ate…read morethere at 3 in the afternoon. I was the only customer in there. I was seated immediatley and chips and salsa were on the table right away. The salsa was very thick and hard to pour out of the vase shaped bottle. I like thick salsa so this is only an observation. The menu is huge, very often this means they have a lot to offer and nothing is really good. This was true here as well. Restaurants need to learn to do something they are good at and do it better than anyone else. With so many choices I had a hard time choosing and finally got the special combo. taco, chalupa, enchilada. chile relleno and tamale served with beans and rice. The chile relleno was good, I don't like chalupas so I got a second taco instead. There was nothing extra on the tacos, meat cheese and lettuceand they were not stuffed full. The enchilada was good, the tamale was over cood on both ends to the point that the ends were to hard to chew. The rice was undercooked and the beans were fine. The food was just OK. The service was good, I think the shift changed while I was there. I had a young lady at first who was very attentive and helpful. Partway through my meal another lady took over and gave equally good service. Everything was very clean, but they were new enough it would have been hard to be really dirty yet. There are a lot of mexican places in this area, I hope this one improves some items so they will make it.

Spent $300 and didn't get what I discussed very specifically with the artist. The coffee mug is…read moremissing glaze on about half of the mug and is painted very poorly. The silhouette piece has bubbles that appear to be filled in with some sort of marker as it differs from the color of the paint. The words are not even centered on a piece I spent almost $100 on. I asked for tans, greys, and light blues on the border like beach colors and got blue, green, and pink. I paid extra for artwork on a canvas in jewel tones and got no additional artwork for $16 that was paid for the additional. Flower pot was supposed to have pea pods and even told the story to the artist why. No pea pods are on the flower pot, only flowers. There is also glaze missing in chunks on the flower pot. 4 out of 4 pieces had something wrong. Part of it could have been miscommunication, but the way they wanted to address it was me to drop off then have to pick it up an hour and a half away. Even that "solution" took convincing. That didn't seem fair for their mistakes. I did demand a refund for the artwork but only got refunded $20. The artwork charge was $16- $27 each piece so $20 definitely didn't cover for all of the many mistakes. Again paid $300 for the 4 pieces. Whoever I spoke with was rude. I was admittedly frustrated, but these were the main gifts for family this year and am quite embarrassed by the poor workmanship. Takeaway: please provide your customers clear expectations in your art pieces. If there's going to be words misaligned, let your customers know this a possibility. If it's possible the artist is going to forget the exact artwork, again just let the customer know that it may not be exact. I have learned lessons as well which include to provide even clearer cut expectations. I would not recommend this business to anyone. It has left me scrambling to find the money and gifts to replace for Christmas.

She picked up her prescription and was charged an insane amount for it. I have the same prescription and get it for $15 with a coupon at a locally owned pharmacy. I called Walgreens and asked why they didn't use a coupon for my wife's prescription. I'll go over the lies they told me below: The lady who answered said they could not use a coupon in conjunction with insurance. This is a lie, as I do this all the time at my pharmacy. She told me that if she used a coupon instead of insurance the price would be about the same as what they charged my wife. This is a lie, as I have filled the same prescription with a coupon and no insurance for about $20. And finally, it should be noted that I have filled the exact same prescription at the very same Walgreens with a coupon in the past for $20-$25. Now granted, it's not a guarantee that I was lied to over the phone. The other option would be that the lady who answered was a moron who knew nothing about her job. Either way, if you use Walgreens pharmacy your prescription will be handled by a team of liars and morons who will make zero effort to help you in reducing the price. Go to a locally owned pharmacy. I probably won't come back to this location, maybe would try another. We rolled through drive-thru around 4pm on Saturday, October 18th. We were 1st in line, didn't look like many people inside. We were asked to pull forward, which is fine. We got a slaw dog, a Bama Wrap with fries, a pork sandwich, pecan pie, and sweet tea. We didn't wait too long but I am not sure which thing took the longest. The reason I say that is the fries were soggy so surely we weren't waiting on them. Also, the sandwich's bun was very soggy, almost sopping wet. I would say this is carry-out and these sat in box but that was not the case. We opened right after getting Slaw dog - delicious, but WEAK dog. This hot dog tasted awesome but the weiner was little. It didn't fill the bun and it was very narrow. Would love this with a better weiner. Bama Wrap - delicious and would order again. Very messy. Interested in the other wraps. Pecan pie - good, average. Not many pecans. Very thin layer on top. Also, no fork so we had to eat with hand (no biggie.) Sweet tea - great Pork Sandwich - pork had a good taste but wife couldn't eat the sandwich because both buns were soaked through and falling apart. Maybe get all wet stuff on the side.
