I loved coming here in college but came back to visit and got an avocado toast and was so disappointed!! First, i was given an end piece of bread, not a big deal but nobody wants to eat an end piece. #fatjared say...this is BY FAR the best coffee house in Florence/Muscle Shoals. Is it perfect...no. But a great place to go! First off...I am strict about my grading criteria. If I have ANY complaints at all, it can't be 5 stars. Simply because 5 stars is perfect, and if I complain, it's not perfect. Secondly...my wife and I are big into coffee houses. We always try to find local, and we go every single week to a new spot. I have visited a lot of places. So I understand I may be a bit of a snob when it comes to these places, but that's what happens when you have so many experiences! For the small complaints I had. The girls behind the counter were not very nice, attentive, or welcoming. Also, I ordered an americano, and they didn't ask what size, then I got like a 6 oz cup. Just not the best service. Everything else honestly was spot on. The flavors were there. They had whole bags for sale. The inside was unique and super cute, and they also had a fridge with some cold brew in it. I always order the cold brew, and my wife always orders a latte. Both were above average for sure. Overall, I did really enjoy this place. We stopped in 3 times. Dear Turbo Owner, BUY THESE TEENAGE WORKERS A DAMN TICKET BOOK & SHARPIES!! I am so tired of the brown, fluffy haired boy screwing up orders for my entire family & my friends! He should be banned from the front. He takes orders and writes them on tiny post it notes then drops them on floor while customers stand there 45 min waiting on their food only to find out no one has a ticket for it. Also , write names on orders, sharpies are not that expensive. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered only to have another customer take it. For the area I would rate them 5 stars. Overall though compared to coffee shops in general I'd go 4. Service: The barista was really friendly and helpful! Decor: The decor is modern and has a cool vibe. Taste: The frappe had a nice balanced flavor. It wasn't too sweet which was awesome. You could taste the caramel flavor, as well. So it also wasn't bland. Parking: Parking is right out front and if you are grabbing a coffee and leaving it is safe to not pay without getting a ticket. We really wanted to love Turbo Coffee... We stayed the weekend upstairs at the Gunrunner Hotel and were very excited to try Turbo Coffee. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed:( There was one girl working so she gets a pass for there being 6 people in line, but she literally has zero personality. In fact, she barely acknowledged each customer and moved soooooo slow, making each drink one at a time. She also wasn't familiar with the menu. Plus, they were out of multiple ingredients for the menu items. In the end, our smoothie wasn't great, service was slow and underwhelming. Total disappointment because they place had so much potential :( read more

Such a cute place! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the counter staff. There is definitely a hipster vibe from this place but it is not exclusive. I felt very welcomed. I ordered a London fog and the toastie sandwich; both were amazing! The London fog had the right amount of sweetness and the toastie OMG! It was so good with Mayo, egg, bacon, cheese, and spinach. The bread it was on was crusty, buttery, and tangy sourdough- perfect! My friend got an açaí bowl with peanut butter and loved it. Our food came quick and we found seating in the cute interior. Funky little coffee shop in the heart of Downtown Florence. My co-workers and I stopped in before hitting the road. The chai latte and cappuccino were small, but mighty delicious. The Green Giant smoothie was tasty as was the Breakfast Bronco sandwich. The shining stars were the pitaya bowl and power bowl- fresh, flavorful, colorful and oh so delicious!
