This rental shop is close to my home and yet somewhere I hadn't ever ventured into. Cue my home basement flooding and me floundering looking for fans. After staying up until 5am vacuuming a seemingly endless supply of water, I woke up at 7 to be prompt about inquiring into renting fans from them. I walk in to a-1, for the first time, and I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was very kind and helpful. He said they had two rented but that they had three others I could rent for a very reasonable $25 a day. (Servpro wanted to charge $79 I believe) he even informed me one of the fans had wheels as I was trying to help carry them. The transaction was quick and pleasant and then he had another gentleman load the fans into my car. Another thoughtful and such a kind thing to do. Which all really meant a lot to me in such a moment of feeling beat down morally, physically and emotionally. Cut to two days later when I was supposed to bring back the fans for the allotted time I rented them. I ask if they are open tomorrow so I can keep them one more day and the man on the phone, Jeff I believe, kindly informs me that will cause me to surpass their weekly rental rate so I could keep them for the week. What great honesty and customer service! Something increasingly rare in businesses now I feel. I am very pleased, and honestly grateful for the experience I had with this company. Oh yeah, and I got there at 7:24 on Wednesday with their opening time being 7:30- they were already hard at work and welcoming and when I inquired about their opening time he said 7:30 but they liked to open early for their customers that like to come in early-- how nice!! So I think i was out of there before it was even 7:30. Great job a-1 and I will not hesitate to rent from you in the future after such a great experience in a stressful situation. read more

I can't complain about costumer service these folks are nice enough, I can complain about the fact that they are very un observant when running payments. Twice this company has charged the wrong account. This time putting my business account over $700 into the negative only to be informed that a refund won't be available for 7-10 business days. All they would have had to do was check the card number and ran the one I told them to. But TWICE this was too difficult of a task for them. I would save some headache and use Herc rentals from now on. read more

Worst rental ever. I paid $660 for a floor cement grinder and tooling to get our job done. It was a dinosaur. Kept shooting tooling out sideways trying to break my glass door I think. Fortunately we stopped before that happened. Called two or three times because the equipment wasnt working efficiently. Nothing they could do. Couldn't give a discount or anything. Guess their hands were tied . We returned their machine but forgot to return the parts the tooling fit in. I was given a courtesy call to remind me and also remind me they charge rental on those as well. I'm sure you do I told them. The job took three days with nothing accomplished. We went after the return and rented a almost brand new grinder from herc rental. Got the grinding done in a short time took it back with nothing happening. Totally happy with herc. The machine with the tooling cost us $162. DONT rent from A One rental. Go to herc!!! read more

They DO NOT maintain their equipment! They have even worse customer service. Very rude when you try to explain the breakdown of not one machine you tried to rent but many! Our other office rents equipment from other places with no problems being limited in Cheyenne caused us to use these people and I regret ever doing business with A1. Oh and they have their GM Chance Bibler writing 5 star reviews on their company... really? Who does that? If you want proof I am happy to supply it! read more
