Shortly afterward, the same hose became disconnected again and the washer started leaking water. Now I'm being told that I need to pay another $215 for a connector and installation to prevent the hose from disconnecting again. If the technician already knew during the first visit that a connector was needed to properly and permanently fix the problem, why wasn't I given the option to have it installed then as part of a complete repair? Instead, I paid $170 for a temporary fix, was told it had a warranty, and now I'm being asked to pay even more for a second visit. I would have much preferred an honest, upfront price for a complete repair from the beginning rather than paying twice for the same underlying issue.

I scheduled cleaning of my ductless systems based on recommendation from my condo's board President. At first it seemed like Vadim and his associate knew what they were doing. After cleaning and reassembling my living room unit, it began making a loud noise which was not present prior to the cleaning. Vadim himself heard the unit before and after and agreed it was louder than it was before. He told me that the bearing was dry and proceeded to apply some kind of lubricant. The noise was still present, albeit slightly quieter but nowhere near what it was before cleaning. We rescheduled another day for him to reassess the unit because it had been a whole day ordeal at that point. He returned about a week later and upon inspection, he was unable to remove the blower wheel. Mind you, the unit hadn't been turned on, let alone used since his last visit and he was the only one that ever disassembled the unit for cleaning since the initial install. He fumbled with the motor side this time and blamed my motor for being old leading to the noise. What exacerbated the noise, according to him, was that the motor is now vibrating and making contact with the plastic housing that covers the motor. I asked him why the motor worked perfectly fine before he disassembled it but now, conveniently after the cleaning, my motor is failing? Not to mention the blower wheel is now stuck, whereas I personally saw him remove it for cleaning the first time?? He blatantly said the unit is old and parts fail. So it worked flawlessly before but magically decided to fail as soon as he finished working on it??? Needless to say, he denied any responsibility and said he can order the motor and replace it for me but will have to charge me; the kicker, he doesn't know how much it'll cost... Please do yourself a favor, learn from my mistake and avoid these crooks at all cost; he will swindle you!!!
