    24in microwave when I needed a 30in. Gringer thought some wood planks would be good enough. thanks

    I would give negative stars if it was an option. RUN RUN RUN to any other appliance store but do NOT shop here. Gringer & Sons is the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had shopping. Aldo in Sales is horrible and cares nothing about helping you get the right appliance or the right size. We brought all measurements and were sold the wrong size appliance. We went into a specialty store for the help provided by the sales people. We should have gone to a big box store instead or even online would have been better. Customer service is completely non-existent. After spending almost $8,000 they do not care at all that the microwave doesn't fit. The installers called and told them it didn't fit. Aldo is a liar and said, his guys could make anything work. Well it still doesn't fit. And looks HORRIBLE. After weeks of emails, phone calls, conversations with Karina, the Manager, I have gotten no where in returning this microwave for the correct sized one and today I found out she no longer works there and no one can help. I spoke to the owners daughter once time, she was useless and didn't care at all about the problem as a matter a fact, she put me on endless HOLD and then to avoid the problem, she stopped answering the phone when I called. I have finally given up. I am going to keep the too small microwave, see photos of how they left it on two pieces of wood, and I will now have to pay someone else to take care of it. Please do yourself a favor and GO TO ANY OTHER STORE but this one. They should be closed down. I am going to call my credit card as well and report them. There should be no reason they are trying to charge me $250 to return a microwave they sold me that doesn't fit the measurements I gave them. Sending all the bad karma your way GRINGER!!!!! What goes around comes around.

Come the day of the delivery, and the fridge wasn't delivered. I called to ask when the delivery will arrive and what the latest time would be. Simple questions. The employees were very rude and kept saying they wouldn't know, making up many excuses. A simple question warrants a simple answer. In the end, they hung up without making a call to the deliverymen until the deliverymen called, making the delivery. The prices can be a good steal, especially if you pay in cash because you wouldn't have to pay the extra taxes--they'll include it into the price. But just be warned that there can be hiccups on the delivery and it'll be best if you avoid this store if you know there will be questions, issues or concerns. They won't answer any of it.

After having…read moremy Friedrich air conditioner for quite a long time, it was finally time to bite the bullet and get a new unit as it reached the end of its life, making buzzing noises, not blowing out as cold as it used to, etc.. After doing my own research and having multiple conversations with Eyal, I decided on the LG dual inverter, which employs a different and more energy efficient type of technology. The fantastic technicians, Jose and Carlos arrived right on time yesterday and implemented the most perfect installation. So far so good. The unit is whisper quiet and keeps my room perfectly chilled, just the way I like it. I will happily continue to purchase all my home appliances at Klearview as they standby everything they sell and they genuinely care. Shout out and major props to Eyal who patiently answers all my questions and walks me through every possible scenario enabling me to be completely confident and comfortable with my purchase, the lovely lady at the front of the store and the terrific technicians.

Being handy, I had changed the door seal that corroded with a brand new original factory seal but still saw a small leak so i called Expert who I used many times before. They sent their dishwasher "expert" who said the seal was perfect, fiddled around, and when he could not fix it, said try it for a couple of weeks to see if seal molded into place, but he didn't think it would so plan to buy a new dishwasher. I told him it looked to me like the door wasn't sealing tightly enough and he insisted it would not turn on if that was the case. A couple of weeks later the leak persisted so I called back and spoke to a manager who said if the tech couldn't fix it, a repair wasn't possible. He said they'd send the same tech out again but he insisted he was positive no repair was possible and there would be another charge. I called a local competitor who did exactly what I suggested to Expert in the first place -- make the door seal tightly -- and what do you know-- no more leak! Of course, now having two techs visits I paid twice for a repair that should have been done the first time. I contacted Expert last week via their online appointment site asking for an apology and for wasting my time and money and a refund. No response. This is no way to treat a 20+ year customer. I'll never use Expert again and will make sure I suggest their competitor to everyone I know.

    Had this company come to my house on a referral from Choice Home Warranty. I had a slight leak…read morecoming from my expansion tank for my boiler. It was a small, pinhole leak. The guy takes one Quick Look at the label on the tank and says "oh, Taiwan, poor quality". Don't ask me how he could determine that just by looking at the outside of the tank. Everything I've read about the average life of an expansion tank says five to ten years. This expansion tank lasted over 13 years, so how could it be "poor quality"? Based on the information that this contractor provided Choice, they denied my claim. Meanwhile this contractor took my $85 and provided nothing in return! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Nice place just to browse Chinese decors, knick knacks, clothes, snacks and condiments. I bought some nice pens and a beautiful silk scarf. Prices are reasonable. I still remember Pearl River in the early 2000s. Two full floors and the go to spot for anything and everything Chinese: snacks, dry goods, stationery, art supplies, home goods. Walking in felt like stepping into a small piece of China right in NYC. It felt layered, authentic, and full of discovery. Fast forward a few years and Pearl River moved to Broadway in SoHo. It was still two floors, more spacious, and if I remember correctly, it had an entrance on Broadway and another toward the back (I can't recall the exact cross street). Even through its moves, it retained that sense of depth and cultural immersion. I recently stopped by the current SoHo location. It's now just one floor. The layout is open and well organized, but noticeably smaller in scope. They carry a mix of items: a small selection of blind boxes, modernized gift items, Chinese art and figurines, cupware and fine plateware, a modest kitchenware section toward the back, a small apparel and footwear area, and a reduced stationery section. A small book section with more small figurines. They also carry a small but thoughtful selection of loose leaf teas, snacks, and pantry staples. It's still cute. The prices are reasonable. There are definitely thoughtful and modern touches. But if I'm being honest, it feels different. More condensed. More curated. Slightly Americanized. And maybe that's just nostalgia talking. I experienced what Pearl River once was, and that version was special. It's not bad. It's just not the Pearl River I remember.
