Not ever going there again! Unwritten rules concerning flags! I bet if there was a Biden flag it would be flown!

Our stay at this RV park was extremely disappointing due to serious safety concerns, poor…read moremanagement, constant noise issues, and overall lack of cleanliness. The biggest issue involved multiple off-leash dog incidents. While walking my leashed dogs one evening, we were aggressively approached by another dog that was not on a leash. I was able to pick up my smaller dog, but my larger dog had to defend herself. She has never been in a fight before and was simply protecting our pack. This was a dangerous situation that could have easily resulted in serious injury. I reported the incident to Animal Control because dogs roaming off-leash in required leash areas is unacceptable. What made the situation worse was how management handled it. The owner approached my husband and me aggressively, yelling at us to leave immediately and falsely accusing my dog of being the aggressor. She even violently shook our fence and demanded it be removed, despite other campers having fences in place. We were told to move by the next morning in December, despite being in a winterized site, which caused unnecessary stress and cost us a $40 lost deposit for a temporary site. After reviewing security footage, the owner later admitted we had done nothing wrong, but there was no apology or acknowledgment for the false accusations and threats. The park also has a major issue with inconsistent rule enforcement. After we were required to remove our fence, other campers were allowed to keep theirs in place for months. This creates an unfair environment and leaves guests unsure of what rules are actually enforced. Another ongoing issue was the frequent loud music. Music was often played loudly from nearby sites, making it difficult to relax, enjoy the evening, or have any peace at our camper. This happened often enough to become a major frustration during our stay. The condition of the property is also poor. The roads are entirely gravel and filled with potholes, especially near the entrance. When it rains or snow melts, these become large muddy puddles that make walking difficult and can be rough on vehicles. Because this is a small park, smoke from neighboring campers also becomes a problem. Marijuana smoke frequently drifted into our area, making it unpleasant to open windows or sit outside. There were continued safety issues as well, including another camper's unattended dog getting loose and approaching my dogs. The owner didn't even realize their dog had escaped, which only added to the ongoing stress. Cleanliness is another concern. Dog waste is often left around the property, creating unsanitary conditions and obvious health concerns. Overall, while the location may be convenient, the combination of aggressive management, unsafe off-leash dog incidents, loud music, poor maintenance, smoke exposure, and lack of cleanliness made this a very stressful and unpleasant stay. I would strongly encourage pet owners and families to consider these issues before booking.

They have a covered area where a large crowd could gather and have a cookout, gas grills supplied. Each site has a raised fire pit and nice picnic table. These would be premium sites anywhere else. Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

The bathroom and shower facilities are the cleanest I have ever seen. The staff is friendly and this RV park is very close to many attractions throughout the Amish Community. Tip: You can not place rugs on the grass- each site is paved so there really is not a need for one. Note: Restaurants, grocery stores and local attractions are not open on Sunday. Be sure you come prepared if arriving late Saturday or Sunday.

I go to book and $140-$190 a night!!!!! Really??? There is no contact information on the webpage that I could find. I was looking to book over the 4th of July (which they have many, many sites available, I wonder why?) I'm sure it's a fine park, but a bait and switch and triple the price that you advertise is not a place I would stay.

We have stayed in several cottages over the years in different RV parks and this had the nicest furnishings hands down. The plates, cups, silverware, coffee maker, oven, stove, and microwave are top-notch. There is a full-size fridge with an ice maker, and even a washer, and dryer! The beds are really comfortable and cozy. I even slept a night in the bottom bunk to try it out and I slept like a baby, and the bunks are big enough for an adult to sleep in. Bonus! The loft has a queen size bed up there as well for extra guests. The ceiling is lower (since it is a loft) but totally a sweet space for the kids to tuck away in. Overall, the cottage was super clean and tidy! We absolutely loved our stay, from morning coffee on the quaint porch to the sunset watching from the break wall in the evenings, the peace and quiet here is perfect! The staff at Bayfront is friendly and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We truly felt like they treated us like family. Sandusky is a great place to visit in the spring and summer especially if you like to boat, fish, or are a thrill seeker (Cedar Point), or if you simply want to relax and read a book... this is the place to be! We will definitely be back!

Called to put our name on the waiting list by a younger lady she told us to call in 5 days (also a Monday) due to a group of construction workers possibly leaving. Called Monday and an older RUDE lady picked up claiming she couldn't find the name and couldn't talk to the other women that got our info. She said she could put our name on the list now and I asked how many people have been put on the list in the last five days and she said about seven so I said that completely screws us and she said do you want me to put your name on the list or not very rude nonhelpful and she hung up on me. so my boyfriend called right after me and then she was able to find her name on the list Even though I gave my first name and last name his first name and last name and she was just so rude to me. Good thing we found covered wagon a lot cheaper just as nice and the people are very sweet and helpful.

This is the least discriminatory place you will find with many ¨God loving and generous folks¨ just waiting to say hi and give you a wave. People also kindly mind their own business yet still acknowledge that you are human.
