I took my 17 year old son to find a car in his price range ($2500). The guy greeted me with an annoyed look and reluctantly took me outside to show me some cars. This was only after he ranted about how busy they were with tax refund season in full swing. Apparently, he was tired from showing cars all day. We go outside and he proceeds to tell me how cars are more expensive this week because its tax refund season and the demand is so high. "Any car on this lot will be $800 more next week," he says. Okay, so I've had about enough of him and I just ask him how much they know about the cars before they buy them. "Not a damn thing." Okay, so its an auction... maybe that's reasonable. So I proceed to ask what he knows about the cars by the time they put a price on them and try to sell them... "By that point, we know that they start and will drive. We don't do safety checks, we don't change the fluids. We just mark them up $3-400 and that's it. It is what it is." So unless you are a mechanic, I don't know why you'd buy anything from these guys. I am not--and although I had already started walking to my car to leave, I decided to ask one more question just for fun. Assuming I were to find a car we liked, I asked if he would mind if we took it to my mechanic for an inspection. His response: "We don't normally like to allow that.... these cars are used and they are all going to have one thing wrong or another, you just have to expect that." I said, "But my mechanic is right around the corner at Royal Car Care." "Oh," he says, "Forget it then. Not a single car on this lot would pass their inspection." He said it with such disdain I could tell it was personal. His response to my final question was priceless. I asked "What would their motivation be, rejecting all of your cars?" Having no clue how shady he was, he simply replied, "They are just trying to protect their customers. Go figure.

He was courteous, professional, and…read moredespite it being a broker - meaning that their prices are close to non-negotiable - he made me a pretty fair deal on a used BMW X5. Dan was a busy with another customer for a few minutes and rather than have me wait he asked another salesman to help me out until he could get freed up. The other guy was pretty good as well. Dan later told me that they don't work on commission at KDK so they all help one another out in order to give the customers the best service possible. In addition, their selection is terrific and their prices are usually fair to good, and sometimes excellent. I use CarGurus.com to compare and evaluate how good a price for a vehicle is, and in my experience KDK's prices are pretty good generally. My only ding, is that they were so busy when I came to finalize the deal and pick up the car that I felt rushed. Also, the car was supposed to be detailed. But it wasn't. It was washed and vacuumed, but the windows were filmy on the inside and it doesn't look like it was detailed. Still, the car was already pretty clean, so this is a small gripe. I will go there again for the selection, the prices, and the service. All were very good.

Do not buy from KDK Auto Brokers…read more I bought a Toyota Tundra from them, and within 2 weeks the gas tank fell out the bottom due to extreme rust. The headlight and taillight also went out within a week of purchase. Before I even bought the truck, and again after, they assured me the frame was solid, and it was "just surface rust" -- they said they'd trust it themselves. They also promised that if anything major happened, they'd fix it for free. Well, something major happened. The fuel tank fell out while I was driving, and I had to pay $450 out of pocket to get it towed. They refused to reimburse me for the tow. The truck sat at their shop for a week, and when I got it back, they told me it was fixed. It wasn't. I inspected it myself and found the brake line still dangling, held by the same rusted-out strap from when the fuel tank dropped in the first place. I had to point this out to them directly before they'd even address it. To top it off, the headlight and taillight still haven't been replaced, even though I've asked three separate times, to multiple employees, and each time they confirmed they'd take care of it. Still nothing. This truck had serious safety issues that they knew about and downplayed to make the sale. Their follow-through on promises has been nonexistent. I would not trust this dealership with your money or your safety. Seriously considering getting a lawyer to sue. If you want a terrible day in your near future, buy from them.

As time went by I was informed via email the original pickup location was no longer available and it had been moved to the Macedonia OH site. I called once a day and left a message requesting a call back up to the day before the pickup day. On Thursday someone finally answered the phone and I requested a 1 o'clock pickup. They told me that shouldn't be a problem. Friday pickup say arrives and as I am driving to the location I received a call from the rental company, total fleet sales, asking me what time I was coming in. I explained that I talked to a person yesterday, arranged a 1 o'clock time and I was currently 10 minutes out. They stated they dont recall the conversation and had a limited number of rvs available but since I was about to arrive I would get one of the last ones. Upon arrival. We received a quick tour of the outside and inside of the RV just to note damage. When inquired about the kitchen utensils option. I was told they didn't know anything about it and didn't have anything like that anyways. Thankfully my wife packed some paper plates and plastic ware. We just ate out during our camping weekend. The RV itself was ok. Everything functioned ok. The shower stall was stained and needy to be cleaner. Fortunately the campground had decent shower houses. I will most likely not use this company again for renting.
